With the mom, could be interesting if she thinks she cursed since the only male heir she makes is cursed. Could either lead her to being overly protective and sensitive with her son, babying him a lot in compensation or if you want you can go the opposite and make her cold and distant to him.

Older and what about mix of babying and cold.

Mixture? Could be behind closed doors she a doting mommy and he's her precious baby boy, while in public and around other pillar users she cold distant and strict. Which can help build the MC's resentment of them because they are actively preventing him from having a relationship with his family.

Ah. A contrast of growing society hate vs struggling for affection from family and close peers

And yet he wants acceptance and respect from society and he hates how his status is affecting his family. Make it a conflict in his desires so that when he starts falling he could have multiple voices and wants whispering in his ear in multiple directions. It'll add some suspense because the readers know up front he will fall the question becomes what he will fall into.

The competing selfish heroic urge vs the selfless heroic desire to stay loved.

I do love it. lol. Lyanna tries to cure Johana only to summon a fucking floating skull and unleashing a terrible evil. It's just so perfect a scene. It reminds me a of a loony toons skit, where they accidentally push a single button and then the scientist starts running around about how their doomed.

Still pretty cool plot potential with Johana about to have another kid and the lesbian threesome with Cersei in was fun.

And what you think of the West's changes?

I love the ominous beginning contrasting with just how attracted Lyanna is to the Johanna. I would say she's a little in love. since even seeing the dark magic ozzing off her, Lyanna was still raring to go.

How you like the Undead citizens and labor and necromancy lore?

Tywin's going to create the fucking apocalypse just dumping magic goo in a hole.

But still the economical idea's of a labor force that's basically like robots with how they don't need to eat or stop working is really cool. Would be interesting to see how their economy is if there's basically no middle class or small folk actually spending anything.

All the money they spend is top down from basically the government, Tywin and the other nobles, which mean's that smaller producers of stuff like Linen or furniture doesn't exist. Now this is a feudal society so Tywin has probably an army of servants and craftsmen living within his halls who service all of those needs, and he can spend the fortune necessary to hire more if he needs to.

But it creates this interesting situation where all of the people who do have these type of skills, farming, engineering, blacksmiths, they are going to die out eventually and with no people to replace them, then the westerlands is going to be deprived of any skilled labor. Which mean's he'll have to hire people outside his lands which will be more expensive and during times of war could be catastrophic.
