I love how he wants to prove himself and be powerful and respected, but there's also a part of him that hates it, that he can't just be his own man and make his own legend but has to live up to the one set by his two fathers. And I do mean two in that sentence. Ragnar's ghost may haunt him, but so does Robert at times as well.

Lyanna was a mixture of maturing and accepting her nature. It's like in the beginning she had a pretty childish, very black and white, view on her own responsibilities as royalty and what it means to be a good person or have honor. But over time as she learned to be more flexible and how to empathize with people she would've formally despised, the old Lyanna would've never been able to be bestfriends with Cersei.

Or Olenna. But as she became more mature and more willing to see things in grey, and understand enemies can be friends just as quickly as friends can become enemies if your not careful, Lyanna also had a moment where instead of rejecting her past or changing herself to be a better queen she embraced it.

In all honesty if Lynna toned down the sex and debauchery it would make her a better ruler and would probably make things more stable, but if she stopped those things then she wouldn't be herself anymore. I was actually guessing Empress winning since it was the medium answer, dark enough to get good smut but not full on controlling.
