But I was thinking of how much of an impact being a superhero family would have on the family dynamics. How they are used to be watched, always being photogenic, I think even in canon Vicky or Crystal had a line about being forced to watch her weight.

It would be the pressures of being a child star especially since once they get powers they would have a lot of scrutiny placed on them not just from the media and their peers, but hell I wouldn't be surprised if the PRT pressured them too trying to get them to join. It's kind of no wonder all the New Wave kids had some assorted issues.

Yep and also show a subtle pressure on the entire family the entire time as well as a great way to show their declining morality by how their self control and ability to act normal in public slowly goes away.

It also ties in well with an idea I poorly implemented in the original one, where the family slowly loses interest of things outside of their family. Amy stops going to the hospital as often. Vicky stops going on dates or shopping trips. Carol quits her Lawyer job. ectera

Well in the original a lot of the focus was one Amy's spiral and need for control and safety after getting attacked by Greg, but I think the general paranoia could still work here. The constant fear of people finding out, the escalation of force as the city starts to fall apart from Baukda and other people like that, causing even greater scrutiny.

The idea in the original was that Amy specifically but the rest of her family too was going to slowly turn into villains and I think keeping that could be fun.

It also ties in with his powers of not only making his girls stronger but also make them more addicted to him, and it also ties in with Amy slowly pushing her powers more and more until the entire harem is only human shaped with everything underneath being expertly crafted biomechanical monstrosities. Could be a fun idea, but a big part of the story is New Wave trying to hide their relationship so it would take awhile to reach that point as well as a lot of corruption and character development.

Now I'm imagining Armsmaster and a couple of PRT specialist being forced to watch a bunch of Karens and bitchy members of the HOA complaining about the placement of signs on front lawns or the types of shrubs being planted for a solid couple of hours since Carol has joined and the rise of New Wave has made them a priority target.
