Well my idea was to combine the two. I mentioned the single mom detective looking into Jason over time while she's falling in love with him. Have him start out as a mysteriously rising pimp and gangster with it slowly being revealed his girls are in love with him, and his girls are actually his mom and sisters.

With it ending with the detective freely giving her daughter away and joining her on her knees to worship her new god. As well as discovering the magic and cults along the way.

But on the twin concept. The ceo originally was a nerdy guy suffering from muscle atrophy, instead of the muscular gigachad he portrayed himself as, and one of the first experiments he did was not only cloning a body but transferring memories. With him doing it to himself after his original body started to deteriorate too much.

With the guy deciding to make another body so he may never risk dying again and creating the twin story to cover it up when he created a brand new identity for himself.

I liked the idea that his powers is very biological and messy as a nice contrast toward the very precise and light weight magical girl symbiotes, kind of hint that his is artificial and wrong very early on, so lots of tentacles and powers that almost look like ink with Hari needing to specifically focus to control it and preventing any construct he makes from falling apart.

And his real dark powers being not just a limited form of biological control and infecting people with his Symbiotes, but also he can find weak points and know the right words to say to convince or bring people down.

Constructs like battle beasts or giant claws? And his personality. Needs work. Has to be fun even in his average before powers in story stage.

Constructs are the weapons magical girls can wield and it matches with a specific costume they are forced to wear to match with it. The Symbiotes love their little costumes. And like you mentioned they also sometimes come with different elemental attacks along with it. With specific personalities types making a magical girl attuned to certain elements.

And with Hari's lack of personality, the next chapter is actually in response to that. lol. Which you would think Hari would be excited, he's never met his dad and his mom refuses to talk about him so of course he would be overjoyed at the opportunity. he should be. But he isn't. He doesn't care, in fact he actively disdains the idea of meeting who he calls his sperm donor and actually talks his mom into giving up the whole trip all together.
