Walking, moving cities that are shifting and chasing into giant monsters is such a cool concept. I've always been a sucker for big mazes or city hellscapes like some of the Hives in 40k or Night city.

Not a big fan of the art style, they're trying to blend more stylized art with more realistic bodies and colors and I think they definitely landed too far on the realistic side so it ends up in the uncanny valley.

But while it does feel like a bit of an Avatar rip off of kids traveling around, learning life lessons in between ancient lore and hidden destiny, while trying to stop a war, filled with unanimously evil bad guys but with a couple so called good ones to make it more gray. That's not a bad thing either. The avatar formula was so good that the show runners for it have spent decades trying to resurrect it.

That's what I was thinking. It needs a solid magic system that integrates the werewolf motiff into something more. Because without some greater spirituality or powers involved, the Lannister invasion boils down to two points.

Either the werewolf's can't control their actions under the influence and the lions are justified, or the werewolf are completely peaceful and dindu nothin wrong. Both options make the entire conflict pretty boring.

From the TV Tropes sounds like the wolf king was mixed. Kinda a jackass but had his virtues.
