Basically when Danny was in the accident, his main thought was making sure his friends got out in time. I mean the comic's did the whole Multiverse crap too, with alternate versions of Invincible invading, which was really fucking stupid. Everyone disliked it even back then. But the comic's were smart enough not to give them any personality or drag it out. They just killed them all off all at once and moved on like it never happened.

With Rex activating this special bomb that ends up destroying all of them and saving the day. Instead of only killing one before getting murdered.
