Questionable Questing

I think guys in their romance want to protect or have power over a girl. They want them to be dependent on them and impressed. Its not enough to love, it has to be a love backed by money or power. And they want to degrade a girl to prove that love.

This isn't for all guys just smutty power fantasy fiction. They want a a girl to lose control and dignity to show how much they have over that girl as a form of fallback. A way to prove the girl is into them.

I think that's because you read some of the trashier romance novels. lol. There are plenty of sweet and softer ones, where the gal is drawn to the guy because of his experience and maturity, while he's drawn to her patience and more carefree way.,

Writing here and there, but will be super busy this week and next. My Uncle, his job is telecommunications maintenance and installation for military bases and one of his most recent jobs will take him to San Diego, and taking advantage of that opportunity him and my aunt are going to stay for a couple days here in Arizona on the way back.

And while they'll have a hotel their staying in, that still means that I have to get the house presentable before then. Just over all a whole bunch of cleaning and get around to unpacking a lot of lose boxes I've been meaning to drop, but haven't. lol. Plus figuring out some of the other details. We're planning on going to the zoo and doing a couple other things.

But I would love to talk on the discord. Not today since it seems we're both tired, but I've been meaning to get back on it and catch up with everyone.

Fantasy battle are the best part of fantasy behind the worldbuilding in my opinion.

Indeed. So shall we speak of Sorcerers, warlocks, witches? Those who travel into the Wyld and learn the lore of gods and spirits and the Powers of the world's dreams. Able to armor themselves in ward although they can't wear them all the time as it makes them call on greater powers to do so.

To change into monstrous dire spirit beast forms but loosing the ability to spell cast when doing so, to conjure great malestorms and battle altering magics, but drawing the Wyld closer if they do so.

What happens if the Wyld gets too close to the material world?

Spirits and beast spirits often one and the same start roaming around and people can be possessed by the Wyld and join the revels. Or a giant super volcano blows up and kills everyone.

Well that just opens the door for a kamikaze attack if the Wyld user gets desperate enough. lol.

Not advised as no one wants the Wyld spreading. They could, but it will fuck over their side as well to let that berserk madness run free. Sorcerers help protect warriors from enemy sorcery obliterating them and manipulate the terrain and reality of the battlefield.

They are not God-Sworn, paladins and rogues and bererkers and other champion warriors invested with magic for physical power and martial might. Sorcerers can be cut down or struck by arrows, this is why they are often guarded.
If they must fight, they will invoke a spirit of the Wyld to possess them and go wild. Druidic monster forms. However, this means they can be slain by blade and spear.

Well if you really wanted a fucked up evil faction, you could have a group of Wyld users who do basically suicide attacks on their enemies by sneaking into their capitals or cities and then going berserk, trying to rack up as high a kill count before they get put down.

But I'm guessing going into this wild form takes away their focus and mental clarity, thus making more complicated spells impossible, which is why Sorcerer's prefer not to use that form even in battle.

Not sustainable. Sorcerers aren't super rare but you don't get big schools. You have master and student relationships or covens of them. One must wander the Wyld and return transformed by it. Made a wielder of Powers. God-Sworn go through rituals to entreat the Wyld to name them champion and they don't need as much long training as a Sorcerer does.

What's the advantages of a God-Sworn versus a Sorcerer? The Sorcerer has more control and is less affected by the Wyld? SInce right now it seems like the Sorcerer's are just an inferior version with less power, since they don't have champions or gods of the Wyld to boost them.
