I don't know it's strange amount of self awareness and pretty sad fucked up undertones, I wasn't really expecting at all. And you get moment's from the story like this all the time. You have Janet, the aunt, openly talking shit about her ex husband leaving her because she was too old and independent, and how she should stick with younger men like Nate since they'll always look at her special.

You have Janet and the mother's reminiscing on how their relationship kind of fell apart since after Nate's dad left, they never specify why, Janet tried to help the mom by getting her exercising and losing some weight so she can go back to dating, which the mom interpreted it as her judging her and rubbing in her face how much healthier and prettier she is.

Again some weirdly self aware and kind of sad moments in-between some at times pretty cheesy characters and sex scenes. lol.

The birthday bit and the aunt is literary introspection for a fucked up topic about romanticized boy youth as a panacea for life.

While my beloved Taffy Tales goes inner Hyde comes out at start of story and it is a glorious depraved ego driven alt personality

To be honest I've never been a huge fan of inner Hyde stories. All too often it's used as an excuse for why the normally meek passive and almost painfully boring MC, suddenly starts raping girls or being this powerful playboy. The two sides aren't integrated or reflections of one and other, and most importantly there's not an organic blending or struggle between the two sides.

I like the power and I like the self admitted truth of a protag who doesn't hide lust or its attendant desire for domination behind the girls and femboys just really like how nice I am and I say their special.

There's a raw realness to the absurd sadistic sexual drive of a good Hyde porn protag

Kind of sounds like an sshole, but you know what an asshole with a personality is always a lot more fun than a wet blanket.

Alright so quick rundown on the characters. We have Nate the plunky MC, slowly growing more confident and dominate over time who starts out insecure enough he has trouble walking outside, probably from the situation with his dad. His sister Sam, who love videos games and has a twitch, loves hanging out with her brother, and is painfully navie. With her slowly learning about sex and love alongside Nate.

With that being a very unsubtle metaphor for how her secret desires, her being one of the most eager girls for Nate from the start and pushing him the hardest and also being one of the first one to openly ask him to impregnate her, being what's truly holding her back. And this all sounds sappy, and it can be, but then you get scenes of Sam and Nate doing nude streams on the twitch to remind you it's a porn game.

The tone is still sappy. I have an idea to throw you. Mixing Taffy Tales with Insexual Awakening and a side of demonic horror.
Something is raping, grabbing, and manipulating and training the girls of the protag's household and his friend group.
But the weird thing is, if anything those girls and guys are getting closer to him.

And why can't anybody exactly remember what attacked and stalked and captured them for a time?
