Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
About how he used to think if he worked hard enough or was smart enough even a normal guy could go up against gods, and the Viltrum showed there were just some barriers you just can't cross. With Superman, the Robins, Wonder Woman all trying to convince him to keep fighting, with Luther of all people eventually getting to him.
With Luther giving him the speech about how Batman's one of the smartest people on the planet and instead of using that big brain to find a weapon or a strategy to beat them, he decided to get into a fist fight with a bear. Referencing the old joke about how if you put an Army ranger and a bear in a forest, you get a dead bear.
With afterwards, Batman moving to an Oracle role for the war and experimenting with drones. But he'll get a scene or two where he gets to do some Batman stuff.
Maybe. I was kind of leaning towards him and robot coordinating an army of robots that screech in a specifical tone that blow out Viltrum ear canals. But Ironbat could be fun too.
Something like that. I'll look around for some examples, but I'm kind of thinking of some of the stuff from the Game Arkham Knight as inspiration. At least for the first gen. But now I sleep. Some good ideas.
FREEDOM! Whoo! How did all the essays go? And Bastard's glory sounds fun. Although not right now, am about to go pick up some dog food for the puppies. Not used to how much food three dogs eat.
Talking about how Honor is written about between the Bloodsworn Saga and The Northman movie. Two different works with different ideas. Both using norse myth and history but their modern writers interpet differently.
Bloodsworn Saga critiques vengeance in a way the norse wouldn't while The Northman focuses on vengeance right but doesn't mention the importance of social dealings to avoid bloodshed.
The main point of my essay being both writers being modern people can't fully grasp that timeframe. Both are really good stories and authentically make use of their inspiration. This isn't about bad vs good art. Its how our worldview, our morality is so intergal to us that to look at these alien old morals is to place our own values on top or hyperfocus on one part and not catch the rest.
