9 times out of 10, yeah. Though I do think Disney Star Wars has put the rest of Star Wars on a pedestal. Everyone things old Star Wars was peak, but tbh... even before Disney bought Star Wars, I would have said they were fucking it up about 5 times out of 10.

Disney just increased the amount of fuck ups lmao.

I'm a weirdo in that I've never liked any of the Star Wars movies as much as I like Star Wars in book/video game mediums. I used to own a hundred unique Star Wars novels from the Extended Universe, and KOTOR 1 and 2 are still in my top 10 video games of all time.

Movie format always feels like it's never been good enough to truly encapsulate the Star Wars Universe in its true glory. The prequels are a great example of this given that they tried the most to show the entire universe but ultimately failed
TV format feels extremely hit and miss in that regard, though most of the TV shows have just sucked regardless lol.
