I keep going into these stories expecting... idk... idk what I'm expecting, but no matter how low my expectations are, more often than not I am let down. Not all the time, mind you, sometimes there's surprises, but you know how it be. It's just a lot of stories seem to be really good at having a good opening couple chapters that really draw you in, you know? And I fall for the trap everytime...

I find myself looking down on the protagonists who say their goal for training/cultivating is immortality, especially the "immortal cultivators", like, longevity and eternity are things that just come along with growth, so it seems like a very uneducated answer. To be honest, those AI audiobooks are pretty nice, because they use AI to generate pictures of the scenes and then animate them, so it's like segments of like 5 second videos that string together to complement the ongoing story, which really makes the listening experience

though, the downside is they often add BGM into the video, which can be disgusting
