We've issued a clarification on our policy on AI-generated work.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Chapter 67
Ah to be honest. I generally like titled chapters. That more to do with qq thread unlike say scarblehudd and royalroadl which give you a next chapter fuction and you dont have to hunt for your last chapter.
Qq if you close your tab. You have to recall the last chapter you read to pick...
AI text generation is in a weird place right now. On the one hand, it's miraculous that it can make something even approaching a resemblance to human writing at all. On the other hand, it's still completely godawful at it!
Anyone who thinks of themselves as a bad author, I promise that you can...
...remove it.
I will note that there are people who are trying to avoid AI output for various reasons, some of them philosophical and some pragmatic*, and not making the disclosure mandatory makes QQ unsafe for these people.
*For instance, "AI always tries to hack its reward. A decent amount...
Depending on continuity the curse can be the combined result of:
An ancient indian burial ground.
A lovecraftian elder god.
A sealed ancient evil wizard.
Another sealed ancient evil wizard, who has been buried sleeping underground and passively spreading his evil mojo for 40,000 years.
The city...
It's not a big deal if they are going to use AI to help them write, but they should give us at the very least a small courtesy of putting a tag there if they used an AI. AI is an amazing tool to help people to locate mistakes, not gonna criticize them for that. But there are some people who...
C’mon dude, this is DC. Not only is there no reason for that extreme of a solution to be required, but there’s a 90% chance a brief ritual summoning the evil spirit followed by punching will solve the problem
Gotham's curse is the result of like a dozen different curses and sources of evil all layered on top of each other, breaking it would almost certainly require purging the city from existence entirely, and likely digging up the bedrock as well.
To be entirely fair, depending on the continuity this is not always possible.
There's at least one continuity where the Joker is actually the living embodiment of Gotham's curse, and when you kill him the curse just jumps to a random person in Gotham and turns them into the Joker, for example.
Frankly this feels outside the bounds of constructive criticism or honest review, just either picking a fight or trying to insult someone. If you don't like a story, that's fine, just go on with life if you aren't willing to give honest feedback on how they can improve. The writer will either...
A somehow enforced AI tag for writing would be nice, but I have no idea if it would be possible. There's nothing more irritating than getting a few paragraphs into something and going, "Hey. Wait a minute." As soon as you realize it's AI generated words, you can't help but start spotting for the...
This reply sums it up nicely.
Make it a rule to disclose if you used AI assistance to write your shit and most of the complaints people have outside of AI art spam disappear, which is exactly why I expect the opposite to happen and the problem to become much worse as malicious actors realize...
