The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Your two examples of things that came back from the dead are Hours. Master was big, but not that big. Now sure, Ash could be a successor or something, but that's not the same as, "Ash is the Master."
Whoa whoa whoa.
Ash can't be the Master.
The Regrettable Action was specifically to kill the Master, and Regrettable Actions cannot fail.
They're dead Jim. The Woods might bear a seed that grows after burning, but it won't be the Master.
Put him on the Lunar Bureau's payroll. Boom, done, easy. He'll whip our constables into better shape just by existing.
One that I have brought up a number of times before and am eager to see.
The interest in Filthy Rich is that he is a business pony in a town that is undergoing rapid growth and development, who probably knows about all sorts of prospects. Legal prospects to boot! And maybe some (such as I), just want to see what Bird can do with the character.
Plus it's just good to...

Murder Grandpa is cool. He can stab things, give Scraps, perhaps sack our enemies for loot like in the heathen days of old, y'know, useful things like that.
How do we go on Expeditions? Bits. How do we summon things? Bits. How do we get the exact qualities we want in a reagent? Bits. What if we find the Level 6 Book in a shop? We spend Bits. We tend to focus on Bits because Bits curtail us an awful lot.
I'm now just imagining that Soft's wolf battery visits her every night to tell her that it tried ripping its way out of her chest again, but all it accomplished was making her heart beat, and it hates her and her mother for it.
I don't think the Leash is a therapy tool like that. @OurLadyOfWires , is it a therapy tool like that? Because I thought it just skipped any loyalty mission in favor of mind whammy, but I will admit this scheme has me intrigued.
My apologies for the misunderstanding. Still, I think that we can risk the at-most 22% chance that the SH roll fizzles.
Actually, wait. Did we destroy the Woods later on the same turn we won our contest for Baldomare?
I just checked and we did. So there was a less than one-turn window Copper's...
As for worries about Jade's scrying, @Pittauro : the SH requirement is just 60, the Lantern is the variable part that determines how hard one succeeds/fails. With the Book, Jade counts as having an SH of 3, which translates to a +30 Bonus. Let's assume she has a perfectly average Magic Score of...
I'm thinking either Cheaper Biedde or Charming Mare myself.
Actually wait Charming Mare has us Leashing someone outside of a life-or-death situation, I'll pass and go for Cheaper Biedde.
