The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Especially one regarding Silky, one in which Stormchaser says Velvet is being too...
That is, to my reading, not a matter of 'Kill the thing to get the blood, then find out what to do with the blood' but a matter of 'Killing the thing will get you the blood and the means to use it automatically; the tricky part is finding a way to kill it. But fortunately you know of somewhere...
The blood is unlikely to be a physical thing we'll need to put anywhere. When we found where Luna had run off to, the option to kill her would have given us the "Blood of the Outsider" trait; it is more probably a metaphysical status - a note that we have tasted and claimed some of the powers...
You know, looking at this:
It seems to me that Status 3 is most likely "Celestia stops raising the sun, ponies have to take it over again."
Combine that with the knowledge that Celestia's gift to Cadance would have been the "other people can raise the sun" tool... I am reasonably sure that...
That moment of catharsis was so strong it took me from a couple of years of following this quest as a lurker it finally got me to break my silence. Hats off to you, @OurLadyOfWires I'm eager to see what comes next.
