The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
After playing around with my display's settings (changing the gamma curve and turning on dynamic contrast to high helped the readability of the blue text at the expense of colours in other contexts just looking wrong), and messing with Stylus a little, I think changing the background from the...
It's mainly an issue in quotes and the notification dropdown, where the background is a dark grey instead of the black in normal messages. But given that I don't have the same issue on my phone, it's possible it's related to my display.
(I'm looking vaguely at Stylus, but I'll probably need to...
Something I've been noticing recently is that with Blackened High Contrast the blue of the link colour is perhaps a bit too dark - this makes it harder to read than it should be for a high contrast style. Case in point, I just had to highlight a link to be able to read it clearly, and the names...
I complained about this earlier in the thread, but it's annoying enough that I'll repeat myself now that a lot of the other low hanging fruit has been fixed: on mobile, the what's new button at the top uses valuable screen real estate which on a profile screen causes the account button to not...
Not just that, but on profile (edit: as opposed to landscape) view it also means there's not enough room for all of the other actually useful buttons. And unlike it moving the notifications button left, that's not a problem that can be fixed with adblock filters.
Huh, did I forget seeing somewhere that this is an AU set years later than canon? Dresden Files wasn't published until 2000. That would explain one or two anachronisms I noticed in passing in the chapters.
