A Song of Blood and Sunlight (ASOIAF / Warhammer Fantasy / Soulsborne)

R'hllor would be the enemy of Chaos. Black Goat is worshipped in the Qohor...

Westeros - not spoiling anything.

No there are not any elves in the Athel Loren.

Night King won't be in my story, in his place there would be Undead Scourge like in the WoW or Negash in the Warhammer Fantasy.
Enemy of my enemy is still my enemy.
No elves - pity.dwarves mentioned Fae,right? what are they?
Nagash instead of NightKing - good, you need stronger enemy,or your MC would win in one chapter, which would be anticlimatic.

Yeah, the Night King would be too weak for my story...
Well, when you introduced Karl from WF on steroids, all enemies in Westeros are too small for him, except possible Drowned god and whatever lurk in Stygoi and Kadath.

By the way, since we knew notching about what really lurk there/the same goes for Yeen,Leng and Cardossa/ , you could turn things there into whatever your story need.

Chapter 36 – Diplomacy and Awakening
Codex: The Pantheon of the Great Ones II.

Naturally the most important is the Oedon, the Formless God of Blood, who was said to give the people the Old Blood.

Then there was the Great One, known as the Moon Presence, the God of Hunters and Moon, the one who presided over the Hunter's Dream and the Old Workshop; he was the one whom the Hunters venerated the most because he was their primary patron.

Among the other notable Great Ones, was Gwyn, the newly ascended Great One from a mortal form of Lord Gwyn when he sacrificed himself to begin the new age and gave up his life for the mortals. He was worshipped as the God of Sunlight and Cinder, the God of Martial Honor, Knights and Silver.

Others, including the Great Ones such as Amygdala or Cthulhu, were worshipped within the territory of the Holy Arcadia Empire by various groups. Aside from these ones, there were several other Great Ones that were not that known well across the wider populace of the Holy Arcadia Empire, but they still enjoyed great worship from their followers.

3rd POV - High Chancellor of the Landsraad

Lands of the Ancient Lords, Holy Arcadia Empire, Grand Principality of the Reikland, Holy Imperial Capital of Lordran, April of Year 10,281 - of the Imperial Lordranese Callendar

One of the most important duties of the High Chancellor of the Holy Arcadia Empire and the Landsraad was to oversee most of the bureaucratic activities within the huge Imperial Administration Apparatus.

For the High Chancellor Luca Brewster, this was rather common Monday as he now goes over the reports from the Office of the Imperial Military Intelligence and another one from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that were forwarded to him by Minister Carla Linda Schopenhauer.

The Holy Arcadia Empire maintained a few diplomatic relationships with other nations in the known world. After the unification of the Lordran, there were only a handful of factions that could stand on the same level as the newly established Holy Arcadia Empire.

One such nation that the Holy Arcadia Empire maintained diplomatic and trading relationships was the nation of the High Elves, the Ulthuan, or, as they were called, the Ten Kingdoms of the Ulthuan.

Ulthuan, also known as the "Ten Kingdoms," is the island-continent of the Known World that serves as the ancestral home of the Elven race, and is currently inhabited by the High Elves.

Ulthuan is located off the eastern coast of the New World, near the isthmus linking the continent of Lustria to the northern lands of Naggaroth.

The island currently lies approximately 200 kilometers from the Lands of the Ancient Lords at its nearest point, though this distance was less in the time before the Sundering and the geographical changes that great conflict wrought.

Ulthuan forms a hollow ring of land floating in the sea, surrounding what is known as the Inner Sea. This inner sea is accessible only at the Straits of Lothern, in the south of the island continent.

Ulthuan is split up into ten High Elven kingdoms, each with its own cultural character and ways of waging war and ruled by a High Elf Prince or Princess. Each one of their Princes and Princesses was a Grand Magister of Magic, one of the most powerful Magic Users in the whole known world.

It was said that Ulthuan was shattered in the distant past, during the Great Sundering with the Dark Elves, and much of its northern regions and western coasts now lie underwater. The eastern approaches are protected by the Shifting Isles, a treacherous maze of magical mists and moving sandbanks.

"Hmm... they are sent envoy?"

The High Elves were an arrogant, very, very arrogant race that looked down on almost every species in the known world. Mostly due to their own power, Magical one especially, long heritage and superior lifespan.

Due to the appearance of the Old Blood, they started taking the Arcadians seriously because those who drank the Old Blood became, in certain areas, even superior to their own species, something that even the High Elves had to accept begrudgingly.

"Yes. According to the information from the Elector-Count Cross Marian, they are facing invasion from the coalition forces of the Druchii, a few Ork Tribes and several Corsair Crews."

When the Chancellor heard that, he frowned a bit because he felt that there was something that the High Elves were not telling them.

The power of the Ulthuan was great, almost rivaling that of the Holy Arcadia Empire itself, so it wasn't really logical that this coalition was threatening them so much that they were going to the Holy Arcadia Empire for help.

"According to the secret report from the Office of the Imperial Military Intelligence that was delivered to your table this morning, three months ago, there was a huge Chaos Incursion on the island-continent of Ulthuan and they suffered great losses. They are reports, that some of the Daemons are still clinging to the materium and even a lot of corrupted humans and worshippers of the Ruinious Powers managed to hide within the Ulthuan."

Given this context, the situation was now giving off more logic than before.

The Dark Elves were very powerful on their own, not to mention the new leader of the Dark Elves, who unified all of their Clans, Families, and Tribes under the single banner, Malekith, was someone who was giving fright to even the Empire's most powerful.

Coupled with the addition of the brute force of the Greenskins, their unknown number and perhaps even a connection to the Orktarius Empire that may be involved in all of this represented a grave threat to the Ulthuan.

Aside from that, the Corsairs were not really particularly powerful, but some of their Pirate Kings were really powerful individuals who acted unbridled, even in front of the Imperial Navy. However, more reason for that was probably the fact that the Imperial Navy wasn't really particularly strong.

"Hmm... then invite the Enoy from the Ulthuan to my office for prolonged discussion. Also... immediately order the O. I. M. I. to investigate the connections between the Dark Elves of Naggaroth and the Orctarius Empire of the Orklands. If the Ghazghkull Thraka is involved in this, the situation is far graver than it seems..."

Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka is an Ork Warlord of the Goff Klan, a mighty prophet of the WAAAGH!, and Emperor of the Orkatarius Empire of the Orklands. He managed to establish a unified Orkish nation within the Orklands, where only war prevailed.

This Orkish Warlord and self-proclaimed prophet of the Green Gods, Gork and Mork, was always a thorn in the eyes of the Holy Arcadia Empire. A unified Orkish Empire within the Orklands was the last thing that the Holy Imperium needed.

Right now, Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka is in the process of unifying the entire Orklands, and when that is done, it will be a very dangerous and powerful neighbor of the Holy Arcadia Empire.

Orks were species with tremendous ponteial if they were unified, fortunately enough such thing was impossible. Even if they would soon be assimilated into the unified Orkish Nation of the Orkatrius Empire, the bad blood between various Klanz or Tribes would never be forgotten.

Fortunately enough, the borders between the Orklands and the Grand Province of Orleáns were nowadays separated by the enormous wall that should be able to withstand everything that the Orks should be able to bring to the table.

Right now, together with the Skycrown Gate in the Grand Province of Sylvania that was guarding the passage between the Lordran and the Dark Lands, the Grand Wall of the Orleáns had the strongest military garrison within the entire nation.

Velentor Moonfeather was an Envoy to the Holy Arcadia Empire from the Ulthuan for more than two hundred years. It could be said that he watched the Imperial rise to power in real-time, and he was deeply aware of the strength of the Holy Arcadia Empire.

The elderly High Elf already had white hair; he was considered old even among his High Elven kin, as he was over four thousand years old.

For the High Elven pride, it was a hard blow to come and ask for help from the humans, even though the humans of the Holy Arcadia Empire were already pretty much different from the ordinary humans of the other continents.

Contrary to what many could think, the High Elves of the Ulthuan were very well aware of the happenings on the continents of the Westeros and Essos, way before the Holy Arcadia Empire made contact with them.

For that reason, they greatly looked down on the humans because humans in those places were weak, very, very weak, and they didn't even have access to proper Magic, something that the High Elves took very seriously.

And yet, despite the overwhelming power and rich heritage of the High Elves species, they were forced to ask for help from the Holy Arcadia Empire, the Empire of the Old Blood.

"Envoy Moonfeather, what a pleasant surprise."

The High Chancellor of the Holy Arcadia Empire knew that if there was one area where the Ulthuan was far superior to the current Holy Arcadia Empire, it was an area of Magic Development.

While the Holy Arcadia Empire was advancing by leaps and bounds in the aspects of Magic and uncovering the secrets of the Arcane, they were still inferior to the Ten Kingdoms of the Ulthuan in this aspect.

So, for their fast development of the Magic, having a good relationship with the High Elves was imminent. There were still many things that they could learn from the High Elves, as they were magically the most advanced civilization in the known world.

"Perhaps... if not for the unfortunate situation we are currently in."

The Envoy Velentor Moonfeather remarked lightly as he then sat down, opposite to the High Chancellor of the Holy Arcadia Empire.

Judging based on the High Chancellor's expression, the Envoy Velentor Moonfeather, the Envoy of the Ulthuan, realized the Imperials had most probably realized the true situation of the Ulthuan...

If not, then the expression of the High Chancellor Luca Brewster wouldn't be this satisfied. If such was the case, then it would seriously lower the negotiating position his own because the Ulthuan would get at a disadvantage because the Imperials would be able to ask for more.

"I heard whispers of the birds and in them, there are some interesting rumors about the peculiar situation of the Ulthuan."

It was clear that the High Chancellor, Luca Brewster, didn't intend to waste any more time and went directly to the negotiations. Because both of them had known each other for many decades, it was a waste to spend more time on these useless phrases, and so on, so they went directly to the matter.

"Then, as you already know, the Witch King Malekith managed to unify all Dark Elven factions, several Orkish bands, and even several of the Corsair Crews to launch an attack on the Ulthuan."

This was already something that everyone present here was aware of. Malekith was considered the most serious threat that the Ten Kingdoms of Ulthuan faced in the past centuries, he managed to achieve a feat that nobody yet achieved.

The complete unification of the Dark Elves, something that nobody thought hat could ever happen. The High Elves were rather arrogant about this thing because they never considered the possibility that someone would be able to unify all of the Druchii factions on the continent of Naggoroth.

"If you mentioned the recent Chaos incursion into the Ulthuan some time ago and problems with the Chaos Daemons and Chaos Cultists wreaking havoc in certain areas of the island continent, it would certainly be a better start than this."

One could visibly see how the face of the Envoy Velentor Moonfeather stiffened a bit, but soon enough, he recovered from the small remark.

"Yes, this is putting the Ulthuan in a very difficult position. I am sure that some of your spies are already working on collection every possible information about this, but the internal situation at Ulthuan is not really good. If not for the last Chaos Incursion, we wouldn't be in this difficult situation."

Several years ago, Chaos Cult emerged on the island-contient of Ulthaun and managed to open the Chaos Gate and thus inviting whole Legions of the Chaos Daemons, led under the leadership of the Daemon Prince and several Daemon Lords they wreaked havoc through the Kingdoms and caused high losses to the High Elves.

"Let me go straight to the matter. What does the Holy Arcadia Empire want for reinforcing the efforts of the Ulthuan in cleansing the forces of Chaos and a coalition led by the Witch King Malekith."

A small smile formed on the face of the High Chancellor.

"For the time being, the Imperium wants only one thing. Open negotiations between the Byrgenwerth and The White Tower of Hoeth about exchanging knowledge and cooperation."

When that was said, it was clear that the Imperium gave the Ulthuan a very high price for their help on this matter. For the High Elves, in fact, they could handle the situation even by themselves, but at a high cost.

Something that was unacceptable for them, because it would require a lot of lives and the population of the High Elves was not that big in the first place.

The White Tower of Hoeth, located on the High Elven island-continent of Ulthuan, is the greatest repository of arcane knowledge in the Known World, compiled down the millennia by the tower's Loremasters, the greatest High Elf Mages and scholars of Ulthuan, and therefore the world, who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit and documentation of knowledge, wisdom, and truth.

Indeed, the White Tower of Hoeth was not just a tremendous feat of High Elven architecture, but also the centre of learning for the entire island-continent.

The White Tower stands at the point of a particular confluence of the coursing magical energies of the Great Vortex, a fact lending the tower a greater strength than any creation of mere brick and mortar. Within the White Tower of Hoeth, the High Elves were uncovering the mysteries of the Arcane and mastering the might of Magic.

"This is rather a steep request... though, the Phoenix King and Phoenix Queen would most probably agree to your request."

Envoy Velentor Moonfeather knew that giving access to the White Tower of Hoeth to the Byrgenwerth of the Holy Arcadia Empire was something that would scruffle feathers of just not one Grand Magisters of the Ulthuan, but in the end, they would still agree...

The safety of the Ulthuan took the highest priority above everything else, and the word of the Phoenix King had the absolute authority in these manners.

"Then we can discuss the cooperation between the Ulthuan and Holy Arcadia Empire after we defeat Witch King Malekith. How much of Military Forces could the Imperial Military send to the Ulthuan to help us defeat the Witch King Malekith, his forces and the forces of the Chaos."

Military Forces of the Imperium were already stretched thin; most of them were nowadays concentrated at the Grand Wall of the Orklands, Skycrown Gate, and Badlands after the Holy Crusade against the Children of the Bul-Khatos.

Though, right now, a large part of the armed forces of the Imperium was moving towards the Grand Province of Norsca and Grand Province of Fenris, due to the increasing presence of the Under-Empire of the Skaven.

Some signs of rats were observed in these two Grand Provinces, and it was unanimously decided that they should immediately be culled down and pushed back to the Dark Lands. The last thing that they needed to have within the premises of the Imperium were the Skaven.

"The final decision would belong to the Holy Imperator and Imperial Bashar Jacques d'Orleáns, though I can see that we can dispatch one or two Imperial Legions, perhaps even few retinues of the Stormcast Eternals. Does the Ulthuan require reinforcements in the form of the Navy Forces?"

Within the Holy Arcadia Empire, the final say of agreement or disagreement would befall the Holy Imperator, but it was actually Imperial Bashar Jacques d'Orleáns who would decide the number of forces that the Holy Arcadia Empire would dispatch to help the Ulthuan.

Imperial Bashar Jacques d'Orleáns was the person who was responsible for all military matters of the Holy Arcadia Empire, and in the end, he would be the one who would decide on the precise numbers that the Imperium would send as reinforcements to the Ulthuan.

Typically speaking, Imperator never intervened in this area because it wasn't in his expertise. The Envoy from the Ulthuan knew that they would need to convince the Imperial Bashar to send more troops to support the High Elves in times of peril.

"Yes, the Naval forces of the Dark Elves from the Naggorth in their enormous ships are equally matched with our own... but if the Corsairs of the Lustria are taken into account, we are facing serious disadvantage on the naval side of all things. Not to mention the Orks are bringing their enormous numbers, so, yes... we would need reinforcements in this area as well."

The High Chancellor of the Holy Imperium hummed lightly because this wasn't really good news. If the Ulthuan fell, then the Lands of the Ancient Lords would become the next target for the Dark Elves, Corsairs of Lustria and god knows of what was hiding at the continent of Lustria.

Ten Kingdoms of Ulthuan was the sole barrier that was keeping the Lordran from the continents of North and Lustria. Both of the continents were filled with hostile elements that would attack the western shores of the Holy Arcadia Empire.

For that reason, the Ulthuan couldn't be allowed to fall, even though the idea of the Holy Arcadia Empire assimialting the remnants of the Ulthuan and the High Elves species was something that was very appealing to many high-ranking figures within the Imperium.

Still, the risks were far outweighing the benefits that they could obtain from the assimilation of the potential High Elves remnants of the Ten Kingdoms of Ulthuan. Perhaps in the future, there would be time for that, but right now, there was time to have a good relationship with the Ulthuan and the High Elves.

"Then it is decided. Once the Imperator returned to the Anor Londo, Imperial Bashar would consult with him about the situation of the Ulthuan and the number of troops that would be sent to the Ulthuan."

The Envoy Moonfeather was rather satisfied with the outcome because this was already better than he expected. In fact, he expected that the Imperium would ask for far more things in return for helping the High Elves of the Ulthuan.

Still, the bad feeling still lingered, because he felt that this was rather easy. In fact, he knew that access to the White Tower of Hoeth was priceless for the Holy Arcadia Empire and Byrgenwerth because the White Tower of Hoeth contained knowledge that could propel the state of Magic by whole centuries.

The High Elves were guarding this kind of knowledge with precious jealousy. And now they would be forced to pay with this kind of knowledge for their own safety and continuous survival.

1st POV

Somewhere in the Athel Loren, the inner area of the Athel Loren, G-1 Mobile Base

It has been two days since we have fought against one of the squads of the Wild Hunt, after they appeared in the Athel Loren. After we killed the initial wave that was pursuing their target, more didn't appear.

That was certainly a good thing, because the last thing that I wanted right now was to fight more and more members of the Wild Hunt. They were relatively powerful, If I had to say, and each one of them was eclipsing that power of the Silver Knights.

The forests of the Athel Loren were sacred, as they were sacred to the Holy Arcadia Empire, as they were sacred to the High Elves of the Ulthuan, Dark Elves of the Naggaroth, and even to the dwarven clans to a certain degree.

It would be a pity if this place was destroyed during the fight against the Wild Hunt.

"How is she? Any signs of waking up?"

Maria was in charge of overseeing the sleeping fugitive of the Wild Hunt because she was rather an apt healer. It was due to her heritage as the descendant of the Vileblood Lineage that she was a splendid healer.

If one could control their very own concept of blood, it was no surprise that they would become an excellent healer.

"Yes, her condition is very good. Surprisingly enough, she is regenerating very fast, even faster than some people with the Old Blood."

I nodded at that, though it should be something related to the Elder Blood that was running through her veins. The Elder Blood, as it was called, was something that allowed its bearer to possess a tremendous amount of Magic and truth to say...

Even I was tempted to obtain the Elder Blood because it would complement the abilities of the Old Blood very well, and it would tremendously increase my power and cover for some weaknesses that I had.

"The Magic Source that is within her bloodline is extremely potent, but it seems that the Elder Blood is in some kind of dormant state."

Evidently, the Elder Blood in her body wasn't activated, or else she would be a powerhouse to reckon with. I predicted that if her Elder Blood was fully awakened, then, perhaps not even the most powerful people within the Imperium would be a match for her in terms of raw power.

Having access to an unlimited amount of Magic Power and, especially, the powerful Primal Magic that the Elder Blood certainly was.

"Did you carry any analysis on the Elder Blood?"

I was betting on Maria attempting to manipulate the Elder Blood, possibly to replicate the thing, because she for sure recognized its worth for the Imperium. Even if they managed to create just some weaker version of the Elder Blood, then it would be worth it.

Perhaps some weakened version for the Magicians of the Imperium, which would tremendously boost up the Magical Prowess of the Magic Users within the Holy Arcadia Empire.

"Yes, but it is beyond my understanding... not to mention, I can't get beyond the outer layer of the Elder Blood. The Elder Blood is especially complicated, and it would probably be best to let the top scholars of the Byrgenwerth study the Elder Blood and its possible usage, but for that... we would need for it to be awakened. When the Elder Blood is dormant, there is some certain shield or seal around it, so nobody could even temper with it."

I knew that the results wouldn't be immediate, but the scans were far better than I had initially anticipated, and hopefully, in a few years, we would be able to decipher at least part of the Elder Blood.

If we could gain the cooperation of Cirilla Fiona Elena Rionon on this and manage to awaken her Elder Blood, then the results would be even better.

"But enough of it... approximately one hour, we got a message from the High Chancellor that the Envoy of the Ulthuan, Velentor Moonfeather, relayed a message from the Phoenix King and Phoenix Queen that they had agreed to the conditions of the Imperium."

Hearing this, I couldn't really say that I wasn't shocked, because I was...

I would have never though that the High Elves of Ulthuan would agree to having cooperation with Byrgenwerth and The White Tower of Hoeth. Not talking about exchanging knowledge between the two, this was absolute taboo for the High Elves.

The White Tower of Hoeth was the biggest Arcane and Magic Repository in the known world and something that the High Elves had been guarding with extreme prejudice for millennia.

"You can tell Imperial Bashar that he has a free hand on this, and whatever they decide in the High Council to send would have my agreement. Though I want Euron Greyjoy and other Admirals of the Imperial Navy to participate in this, it could be a good learning experience, and at the same time, it would be a good possibility to observe the strategies of the Dark Elves, High Elves, and Lustrian Corsairs when it comes to the naval warfare."

I didn't really have any intention to meddle in this because Imperial Bashar would be the most competent man in this area. Jacques d'Orleáns was more competent on this matter than I was and he would be able to handle the matter as it was needed.

"Is Cersei right now with the guest?"

Due to the presence of the Elder Blood within her body, as she was right now unconscious and probably due to the fact that this should be the first time she arrived in such a magically advanced world, her Elder Blood was being stimulated.

From time to time, she had some uncontrollable burst of raw Magic all around her, so there was a need to have constantly someone around her who would be able to restrain the ambient Magic if such a thing happened.

"Yes... the girl had Magical Burst a few hours ago."

It was evident that the Elder Blood within her body was being stimulated by the enormous amount of ambient Magic in the air. From what it looks, it should not be enough for the Elder Blood to properly awaken, but it should be more than enough to greatly speed up the whole process.

"They are becoming less and less frequent and they are also less powerful than they were at the start."

This was a good sign because it meant that his body was acclimatized to the status of the known world of Azyr. For the time being, we would need to observe the behavior of the Elder Blood within her body.

I had some hunch that sooner or later, this would bring great benefits for her; perhaps it would even entirely awaken her Elder Blood. Though right now, the presence of the Elder Blood represented a danger to the Imperium because the Wild Hunt and the Aen Elle could trace it through their advanced Magic.

3rd POV

Somewhere in the Athel Loren, the inner area of the Athel Loren, G-1 Mobile Base

It wasn't that long since she was forced to leave the previous world to escape the pursuit of the Wild Hunt. Waking up after severe Magical Exhaustion was something that wasn't a very pleasant experience.

She remembered that when she opened a portal to another world, she appeared in the dense forest. The Wild Hunt soldiers were pursuing her thanks to the Navigator, who traced after her every single step.

The last thing she remembered was warm golden light and a man holding a lance who attacked the Wild Hunt soldiers, and then everything went blank. Then the next thing that she remembered was waking up in this room, which looked far more luxurious than it should be...

This meant that it either belonged to someone very powerful or someone of very high social standing; judging based on the architecture at the place, Ciri concluded that this world should be pretty similar to that of her own or to that of the Aen Elle of the Wild Hunt.

Still, she concluded that this world must be more powerful than the ones that she previously visited to be able to deal with the entire squadron of the Wild Hunt. Normally speaking, she could open portals to the world with Magic present in them in most cases, and there were rarely worlds that were magically as rich as this one.

'It seems that I am safe for the time being... the people who saved me probably just killed the Wild Hunt grunt and brought me here...'

She could feel that her whole body hurt like hell, and she hurt a bit, but contrary to what she would expected after using what she could from the Elder Blood to the limits, there was no aftermath of the severe Magical Exhaustion.

It was evident that whoever saved her and brought her here, must have also healed her as well and put her in the best condition possible. Healing the aftermath of the Magical Exhaustion was a feat that was considered impossible in her own homeworld.

This meant that the world where she arrived was more magically advanced than her own by a tremendous margin and probably even more advanced than that of the Aen Elle. Still, judging based on the signs that she wasn't imprisoned or anything, it meant that the people who found her didn't really have bad intentions for her... most probably.

"At least, for the time being, I am safe before I move again. Hopefully, this time, I could stay at one place longer than usual."

She had already traveled through dozens of worlds; in some, she stayed only for a short time before she was found by the Wild Hunt; in some, she stayed for longer. Especially in the ones that were typically devoid of civilization and filled with dangerous fauna.

Once in one world that was filled with mutated animals of some kind, she managed to kill whole squads of the Wild Hunt, including two Navigators and dozens of Magicians, when she tricked them into entering the trajectory of the mutated beast horde.

"It seems that you are awake, that's good."

When she heard a male voice coming from the side, she wanted to stretch her hand for her sword, but then she realized that she didn't have any weapon in the vicinity. However, she was rather surprised by this, because it seemed that the man who spoke was in the room with her for the whole time and she didn't even notice him.

Chapter 37 - Wild Hunt and Problems New
"You were out of cold for several days, but it seems that you have healed enough to be able to lift yourself from the bed."

Her clothes were changed by Maria and Cersei the day she was moved to the room after she lost consciousness during the escape from the Wild Hunt. Karl Franz said with a slight smile as he sat across her bed on the leather chair.

"It's fine. Thank you for your hospitality and patching me up. Would you mind telling me how I got here?"

She asked after she finished scanning through the room, noticing its luxuries, though she had some weird feeling that she was in someplace that wasn't an ordinary house. Her sense was telling her that she was right now in some kind of fortress or castle, perhaps?

Or something along the lines, judging by the fact that the windows were fortified with metals and some special glass. Everything in here was fortified to the extreme to provide protection above everything else.

"That is only natural. Though, first, I think we should have some food, the food should already be prepared."

He could see that she was hungry, though with the loud growl from her stomach, it was rather clear. Being several days straight in a coma certainly took its price, so she was rather hungry right now.

"I can stand by myself."

Saying that she was already standing, as she didn't have any problems standing up. She wore rather loose, comfortable clothes of the highest quality that were reminiscent of pajamas for sleeping.

Those were the clothes that Cersei and Maria had chosen for her when they brought unconscious Zirael to the G-1 Mobile Base. They were rather comfortable, yet they were made from the top-notch materials, that Ciri saw only nobles and wealthy merchants to use.

In fact, she had to admit that the entire place seemed far more luxurious than it should be...

"Oh, forgive me for my blunder for not introducing myself. My name is Karl Franz; I am the owner of this little place where we are right now."

Karl Franz decided to withhold some information for the time being, most importantly the one about his true status and so on. He knew that there were many people after her Elder Blood, and he didn't want her to be wary of them.

"I am Cirilla, but you can call me Ciri. You must be someone of considerable power to be able to take out an entire group of the Wild Hunt by yourself. You should be a warrior of considerable renown or perhaps a powerful mage?"

Cirilla was most aware of the true power of the Wild Hunt and the entire Aen Elle civilization, which managed to conquer tens of worlds. Some of the worlds that the Aen Elle conquered and enslaved were even more powerful than the Aen Elle themselves.

They just managed to employ good strategies and hit their enemies' weak spots almost perfectly at the same time. Aen Elle was powerful; they had access to very powerful and advanced Magic.

She even saw that they managed to conquer one relatively advanced technological civilization that she visited. Due to the Elder Blood, she went through hundreds of worlds and was rather knowledgeable even though she couldn't stay in them for a long time.

"You could consider me a Magician and Warrior in one, but enough about that. We should go for breakfast, even though I am already getting hungry."

After that, both of them went to the dining room on the lower deck of the G-1 Mobile Base. Because the Land Cruiser was huge, there was enough room for several facilities.

The one they were using right now was named "Sacred Dragon", and it was the personal Land Cruiser of the Holy Imperator. Many facilities and luxuries were not obviously installed on the military-grade Land Cruisers of the G-1 Mobile Bases.

Karl Franz had them install a whole bunch of facilities into the Sacred Dragon for the most comfortable living when he was traveling the Lands of the Ancient Lords. That didn't mean that the military installations were neglected, as the Sacred Dragon was bigger than the average G-1 Mobile Base by at least half.

The Land Cruisers were still a relatively new piece of Magitech that was introduced into the Holy Arcadia Empire only a few decades ago. Karl Franz immediately took a great liking to the giant behemoths of steel and Magic that were introduced into the arsenal of the Imperium.

He could see how Cirilla was observing everything in the Sacred Dragon with great curiosity. It seemed that her adventurous spirit was instantly ignited when she came into contact with something new.

"The one wearing the hunter-like combat outfit is Maria, and the one wearing the red dress is Cersei; they were the ones who were taking care of you when you were unconscious. Maria, Cersei, this is Ciri; she is the one we saved from the clutches of the Elves."

When they arrived at the dining room, both of Karl Franz's fianceés were already in the room, arranging the breakfast for all four of them. Fortunately enough, Maria knew how to cook, or else, they would need to wait for him to make some simple roasted meat.

They were making dishes from the supplies they brought with them, though the meat was from the local Danger Beasts that lived in the Athel Loren. The number of Danger Beasts that lived within the Athel Loren was astronomical, and many of them were fairly powerful.

Meaning that their meat was considered to be of the utmost delicacy. Their meat was very nutritious, so it was commonly used by the rich and powerful to maintain their diet.

One needed to know that powerful warriors also needed a corresponding diet, so in this case, the diet from the meat of the Danger Beasts was the most suitable. Within the territories of the Holy Arcadia Empire, there were many chambers of commerce that specialized in selling the meat of powerful Danger Beasts to the people.

"Come and sit."

Karl Franz then sat down behind the table as they slowly started eating breakfast.

He looked at their silver-haired guest, who was devouring the food on the table with renewed vigor, and for several minutes, they just ate without saying a single word.

"I must deeply thank you for your hospitality, though I need to ask you when I will be fit for travel. I must leave this place as soon as possible; the Wild Hunt will come back to me."

He could sense the distress in her voice when she spoke, while the Wild Hunt was powerful, that was certainly truth. In the eyes of the lesser civilizations, they would be considered peerless warriors and combatants...

But, compared to the might of the Holy Arcadia Empire and its grand military machine, they were not really a threat.

"Let them come; the only thing they would find in the Lands of the Ancient Lords would be doom and slaughter."

It was Maria who spoke when she heard that, in her eyes, the Wild Hunt were not really a threat to the might of the Holy Arcadia Empire. She fought against the Wild Hunt, and she could tell that they were fairly powerful, even though they were just grunts.

Maria was always a battle-hungry person who would not stay away from any kind of challenge and fight. That was certainly not her style, and in fact, she was rather eager for the Wild Hunt to attack them because they could kill them all.

"While the Wild Hunt is fairly powerful, our world is far more dangerous than you can imagine. You can remain here as long as you wish; no harm shall come to you in this place; you have my word on this."

Unsure of the words, subconsciously, Ciri chose to believe him in this aspect and, in the end, decided to remain in this world for a while. It was true that she rarely managed to remain in one place for a long time.

She knew that if the people who saved her could kill the entire squad of the Wild Hunt members, they should be fairly powerful. Even her senses of being trained as Witcher screamed at her that all three people in the room were very dangerous.

The youngest one in the room, a blonde-haired woman in a red dress, was the least dangerous, but even when it came to her, she was fairly dangerous and powerful. Probably more powerful than she was, but when it came to the second woman named Maria and the man Karl, they were on an entirely different level.

They were even more powerful than the reigning King of the Aen Elle and the leader of the Wild Hunt, General Eredin. Or at least, that was the most she could find out about them by simple observation.

"Then I will stay for some time; having some safe place to remain at for a prolonged time is rare."

It was rare to find a place where she could remain longer than a few days.

Unfortunately to Ciri, when she appeared in the world and was rescued from the pursuit of the Wild Hunt by Karl Franz, the Holy Imperator ordered the Lord Celestant Prime of the Reiksgarde Temple Atreus Atreides and Lord Celestant Prime of the Judicator Temple Gurney Halleck to deploy one entire retinue to the Athel Loren.

Currently, there were 500 Stormcast Eternals wandering around the Athel Loren.

Everything was ready if the Wild Hunt decided to come to the Azyr. The moment they entered the Athel Loren, they would be captured or killed by the Stormcast Eternals, the best of the best that the Holy Imperium had to offer.

"So what can you tell us about this Wild Hunt that is pursuing you?"

It was Maria who asked the question because, in fact, she was rather intrigued about the existence of the Wild Hunt. Rarely, they were able to encounter the foe that was on the same level as the Holy Arcadia Empire.

Aside from the sheer shock, this was a hostile force from an entirely different world, an entirely different world that was ready for exploration and full of resources and knowledge that could be used to strengthen the Imperium.

Thus, Cirila decided to retell them the information about the Aen Elle and the Wild Hunt that she heard when she was held by the Wild Hunt as a prisoner a long time ago.

"During the event that is called Conjunction of the Spheres, part of the elves from the main world, later described as the Aen Seidhe world, left their kin and, using portals, came to a new world. They took the new world for their own and started to call themselves Aen Elle - the Alder folks. That world, however, was inhabited by two intelligent species - humans and unicorns. The elves started to wage war with both of them, and eventually, they completely eradicated all the humans and their settlements."

All three of them listened to the Ciri's tale about the Aen Elle and Wild Hunt, and what caught their attention was the term, Conjunction of the Spheres. Especially to Karl Franz and Maria, it was a very familiar term because both of them were aware of it.

The Conjunction of the Spheres is a cataclysm that affected the whole Multiverse and occurred every few thousand years; nobody could really predict when the next one would happen because such a thing would require an unprecedented Magical might.

During the Conjunction of the Spheres, rifts to other dimensions opened, during which the various worlds could interact with each other. Normally it resulted in people migrating from one world to another, creatures would appear in different world where they didn't belong or other things.

One of the most notable things that could happen within the Conjunction of Spheres, was that the more powerful Worlds would basically plunder the weaker worlds of everything they had.

They would assimilate their Magic, take their resources, and basically elevate their world to a higher level. Both Karl Franz and Maria knew it for a single reason... in ancient times, during the times when Lord Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight and Cider, walked the ground of the known world, the Conjunction of Spheres opened once.

And Lord Gwyn used this time to invade several lesser magical worlds and plundered them, using their very own essence to enhance the Azyr and especially the Lands of the Ancient Lords.

One of the greatest secrets of the Holy Arcadia Empire was the fact that the Lordran, as it is known today, was created by the literal corpse of several lesser worlds that were destroyed by the Lord Gwyn many millennia ago.

"For some time, everything was great for the elves, and their civilization thrived. They built a beautiful palace known as Tir ná Lia that served as their capital. However, after some time, the elves wanted servants or, better yet, slaves. The only other sapient beings in their world were unicorns, which they constantly battled with, and unicorns were obviously not very well suited to be slaves. Around that time, the elves managed to force some of the unicorns to open the Gate of the Worlds - Ard Gaeth - giving them access to all possible worlds to massacre as they pleased.

Thus, the elven King Auberon Muircetach ordered the creation of a cavalry unit with a single goal: to invade alien worlds and capture young humanoids to serve as slaves. The cavalry was named Dearg Ruadhri, which meant Red Riders due to their red cloaks. The King appointed General Eredin Bréacc Glas as the Red Rider's leader, for he was an efficient and ruthless soldier with strong magical abilities.

Thus the Red Riders started their invasions of other worlds. To intimidate the local people, they started wearing skeletal armors that made them look extremely threatening and used exclusively black steeds. On some occasions, they also used a powerful ship known as Naglfar, which was able to float in the sky and was something akin to the air fortress to a certain degree. On top of it all, they used projections to appear more spectral, making people think that the group was made of wraiths and specters.

However, after some time, the Unicorns managed to take the Gate away from them and the Aen Elle lost their access to space-time travel and were only able to partially recover it in the form of special mages known as navigators. Their abilities to travel to different worlds, however, were severely limited as the Navigators were only able to open portals for a relatively small group of riders, and thus, they were able to secure only a limited number of slaves.

This also made them change their tactics, where they enhanced their spectral projections to such a level that they usually traveled only in this form and only used their true corporeal form when it was absolutely necessary.

Yet even in their spectral form, they were still able to secure a decent number of slaves and, due to their frightening appearance to common people, they were soon given a more sinister name - the Wild Hunt.

Such is the tale of the Wild Hunt and the Aen Elle."

Everything about the Aen Elle was clear, and everyone present here had a clear understanding of their civilizations from the information that Ciri told them.

"So, rather powerful advanced elven civilization with very developed Magical System, powerful Magic at their disposal, heavily dependent on the slavery and raiding the other worlds for their resources. They are exclusively targeting the weaker civilization, especially those who had Magic for their natural resources and Magic."

Karl Franz had a relatively good understanding of the Aen Elle and the Wild Hunt.

"Interesting... for apparently powerful civilizations like the Aen Elle, their society is still rather backward, and their dependence on slavery is disgusting... they are just asking for troubles in the future."

The Holy Imperator agreed with Maria's statement. While slavery was good for obtaining free labor and a working force, it was also dangerous. One of the most notable ones was when the nation was heavily dependent on slavery. Once the source of the slaves was cut, the nation would crumble as there would be a zero—to none-qualified workforce.

Not to mention, if all manual work was done by the slaves, then a large part of the population itself depended on the slaves, meaning the entire private sector was also dependent on slavery...

And there was also a constant thread of rebellion from the slaves, aside from the sheer fact that the slaves were not really the most qualified workers. The slaves were not really eager to work, and they needed to be forced to work, so the quality wasn't always up to the standards.

That was the main reason why slavery wasn't really an effective system. Many would say that it was an obsolete system, but even across the Known World of Azyr, it was a widely spread and practiced system, especially in the Essos.

Within the Holy Arcadia Empire, slavery was essentially banned aside from the prisoners of the war and criminals sentenced to life or criminals sentenced to death. It was better to put them in the work than just to let them rot in the prison, especially when it came to the Greenskins that were captured by the Imperial Forces.

Greenskins were physically very powerful, and they were suitable for various heavy laborers, especially those in hazardous areas and places where the conditions were not safe or perhaps even dangerous.

Even then, they were investing a lot of resources to keep the Orks contained when they were captured. For the Greenskins, there was nothing more humiliating than being captured and enslaved.

They needed enough manpower to guard the Orkish slaves, so the Imperium was mainly using them only for a short time, before they would simply killed them. They were mostly used within the Grand Province of Orleáns to carry out some heavy labor, and shortly after, they were killed.

Keeping the Greenskins in large numbers enslaved was a recipe for pure disaster. Nobody sane within the Imperial Territories would keep a large number of Orks in one place, especially enslaved.

"Without slaves, the Aen Elle civilization would crumble in a few years. They were dependent on the slaves for practically everything from growing crops, producing food, or even cleaning their houses. I have observed them during my, let's say, stay at their capital... there are far more slaves within their cities than Aen Elle themselves."

Hearing what Ciri said, it was evident to everyone present that the Aen Elle were too heavily dependent on slavery to ridiculous degrees. It was pretty irrational behavior, but at the same time, it was also logical because their entire civilization was built on the very own concept of slavery.

Not to mention, they never even attempted to change that thing, even when their civilization started developing to a higher degree. Probably because it was rather profitable, due to their superior power and Magic, they were able to conquer many lesser civilizations that were much weaker and exploit them.

And this cycle has been repeating itself almost indefinitely.

"And what of your homeworld? I presume that it couldn't resist against the power of the Wild Hunt; if not, then you wouldn't be escaping from them through many, many worlds."

This was something that everyone present was rather curious about because even they were tempted by the existence of the other worlds and an untold number of resources that were present within them.

"My world isn't really the most pleasant one... mostly backward, filled with its own problems, discrimination against non-human races by humans in most kingdoms in the entire and there were other problems. My world cannot withstand the power of the Wild Hunt; even one squad would be enough to obliterate even the most powerful people. Even though my world has certainly developed a relatively advanced Magic System, it is not really suitable for real combat."

From her talks about her world, it was clear that it had far more problems than their own; it was clear that, in a certain sense, Ciri's world was rather more developed than Azyr's, or at least, some parts of Azyr.

Azyr was heavily disproportionately developed, while Ulthos and Sothoryos were completely underdeveloped and without civilization. At the same time, Westeros and Essos were relatively primitive from the point of view of the Imperium.

Karl Franz knew that even compared to the nations of the Ciri's continent, the various factions of the Westeros and Essos were vastly inferior. The "Continent," the place where their kingdoms and Empires were located, was far more developed.

They had rather developed Magical Systems, and their nations tended to employ Magicians in their armies; Sorcers and Sorcressess were a rather common sight, according to what Cirilla told them.

Especially the Nilfgaardian Empire was employing Sorcerers and Sorceresses en masse in their armies, not to mention the stronger nations also had access to more Magical metals, enchanted armor and weapons, and other things.

Something that even many in the known world of Azyr lacked.

"You should relax for the time being... being on the run for almost the entirety of your life is tiring for sure."

For a long time, she was being pursued by the forces of the Wild Hunt, and it was basically impossible for her to rest safely in one place for a prolonged amount of time. She could count on one hand when she had a similar opportunity like this.

Mostly in the worlds that were rather powerful for the Wild Hunt to act unbridled, but those ones had their own problems when it came to being in there. Some of them had rather hostile attitudes towards the foreigners and many others...

"Thank you for your hospitality once again."

After the breakfast was finished, Maria and Cersei went to train, according to their schedule. Under Maria's leadership, her combat capabilities were getting better and better; it was rather privileged for someone to receive private tutorship from someone such as Lady Maria Vileblood.

Nowadays, also known as the Lord General-Kommandant of the Stormcast Eternals; one of the strongest Hunters of the Workshop, and one of the most powerful people within the entirety of the Holy Arcadia Empire.

Not to mention, she was also one of the few Weapon Masters with the mastered skill, Eternal Arms Mastership, within the Holy Arcadia Empire. For anyone from the Holy Imperium, it would be a great honor to receive a private tutorship from someone like her.

1st POV - Cirilla Fiona Elena Rianon

Several past days were probably the best ones that I had in several years.

Rarely did I have the possibility to relax from the pursuit of the Wild Hunt. Since her Elder Blood has been partially awakened, even if it was minuscule, it was enough for the Wild Hunt to develop methods of tracking her Elder Blood across the Multiverse.

Rarely did I have the opportunity to enter some worlds where I could rest for more than just a few days until I was found by the Navigators of the Wild Hunt. The pursuit of the Wild Hunt was something that I couldn't really fight against.

Unfortunately for me, my Elder Blood wasn't fully awakened; if yes, then I could just obliterate the entirety of the Wild Hunt with a wave of my hand. The Elder Blood was exceedingly powerful, and the enhancement it would give it to Magic was absolutely frightening.

She only passed through a few worlds, where I had the possibility to rest for a few weeks. One of the most notable ones was a world that was already destroyed by some sort of apocalypse, full of zombies and mutated creatures.

It was rather ironic that in such a world, I managed to find some sort of peace when I managed to trick several whole squads of the Wild Hunt into walking into the trap where they were slaughtered by local mutated creatures and beings.

Another time, I managed to enter one of the high-magical worlds, and I was pursued by the leader of the Wild Hunt and their leader, General Eridin himself. To my luck, when they entered the world, as I was running through the forest, I managed to encounter the locals.

Extremely powerful Sorcerer who wiped out more than three hundred members of the Wild Hunt, while a bunch of their Arcane Mages and even almost killed General Eredin. And that was everything done with one single Spell that was cast by the Sorcerer.

Afterward, I managed to stay in that world for a few months before I moved forward.

For the past few days, I have been spending most of my time in the G-1 Mobile Base that belonged to their saviors. Neither of them spoke much of their identities or status within this world, though I suspected that they certainly had some extraordinary identity.

From what I could tell, this humongous vehicle was already on the level of some moving fortress; I could see that it had an unprecedented degree of luxury and other things that shouldn't normally be available to normal people.

The facilities in this place, were something that even nobles in many worlds visited didn't have and were not inferior to many facilities in the more advanced worlds that I visited.

From this, coupled with the strength of the people around me possessed, I knew that they didn't have ordinary identities. Not to mention, all of them had bearings of the nobility, especially two of them.

The man introduced himself as Karl Franz, and the youngest woman, with long blonde hair and green eyes. The second woman, Maria Vileblood, even though she tried not to show it, she knew that she was also of the nobility of the highest standart.

Aristocratic upbringing couldn't be really taken from someone; it was something that was deeply rooted in the person, especially when someone was taught it from childhood.

I quickly concluded that all three of them must be Nobles from nations of this world, which either meant that they belonged to a very powerful Noble House or the people of this world were far more powerful than she initially anticipated.

Nevertheless, it was clear that for the time being, neither of them would speak about that, and not even she would ask about it. From my own experiences, I could tell that neither of them had bad intentions toward me, so it remained an unspoken secret.

Even the fact that I was aware that they were too confident that the Wild Hunt wasn't a really threat to the me. So, for the time being, I knew that I was relatively safe in this place, though I had to admit that this place was easily one of the most dangerous worlds that I have visited.

Even though it was somewhat similar to her homeworld, but it was vastly more dangerous. The monsters in this place were bigger, stronger and more powerful. The "Danger Beasts" as they were called, were far more powerful than anything in their world, especially the Super Danger Beasts that she heard about.

Even the Magic was much more denser than in her homeworld or many of the other worlds she visited for the fact. Magicians and Magic Users were rather common truth to be said, and the general population was much stronger overall.

Right now, they were apparently in one of the most ancient places on their continent, called Athel Loren. Forest had been here since the Age of the Ancients; nobody knew how exactly old this place was; the natives only presumed that this place was older than ten thousand years minimally.

Aside from the continent of Lordran, she learned that this world had several other continents, each one having its own dangers and strengths. According to what she was told, the entirety of the Lordran, or at least its more civilized part, was ruled by a super-nation called the Holy Arcadia Empire.

Its sheer size was several times that of the Nilfgaardian Empire, even though, in terms of the population, they were severely lacking. Aside from the Holy Arcadia Empire that ruled the Lands of the Ancient Lords, there were several more equally powerful factions within this world.

The spawns of the Chaos that roamed through the Dark Lands or the Ork south to the Holy Arcadia Empire, which represented the gravest threat to the Holy Arcadia Empire for the past several decades.

In short, this place was far more dangerous than most of the worlds that I visited, but for the natives to survive in such an environment, it was clear that they must be fairly powerful, powerful enough for me to seek protection from the Wild Hunt in case they came to search for me once again.

"Are you pondering over the dimension-hopping elves once again?"

As I was observing the sun rising from the horizon, I heard a male voice behind me, noticing that it belonged to Karl Franz. I had some urge to laugh hearing that, because he was rather creative when it came to naming the Wild Hunt.

"Maybe... just... after so long time, I managed to find some time of peace. Always escaping from world to world, from the pursuit of the Wild Hunt, I rarely find a moment of peace and someplace where I can rest."

I sighed, in some sort of nostalgia, because I thought of my family home...

Geralt, Yen, Triss, Marigold, Zoltan, Grandpa Vesemir...

I knew that if I returned home, I would endanger everyone close to me. It would be very dangerous. Unfortunately, my world isn't really powerful enough to defend against the Wild Hunt.

Maybe in the future...

High Elves need help, ask for third waifu for your Emprah!
jokes aside - it is good to introduce them, but - if Elves knew about Westeros and Essoss,Dark Elves knew about them, too.
Why they do not raided them yet? out of goodwill? i doubt it.

Another thing - Cthultu is not nice god,if your Empire worshipp him, they are fucked.

Well the Druchii would need to cross over the territorial waters of the Ulthuan and Empire to reach the Westeros and Western Essos and considering the fact that Westeros and Essos don't have anything that much valuable they didn't really bother to do so. Till now the Dark Elves maintained presence only in the Asshai and Ulthos and Sothoryos

That is good explanation. They could get human slaves everywhere, after all.
By the way - presence in Ulthos - are they present on Empire soil?

Chapter 38 – Back to the Anor Londo New
Codex: The City of Gods as the Holy City of the Holy Arcadia Empire

Anor Londo, the City of Gods, ruled by the Holy Imperator personally and the Imperial House. It was built by the Lord of Cinder and Sunlight, Lord Gwyn, in the first Age of Lordran; to this day, it remains the most important place within Lordran and is the symbol of the power and majesties of the Imperial House and Holy Imperator.

Yharnam, the Holy City of Old Blood, the spiritual center of The Empire that is ruled by the Healing Church, with the title of High Lord Magistrate being always held by the Grand Theoganist of the Healing Church.

Cainhurst, the City of Silver, the birthplace of the Order of Hunters, ruled by House Vileblood for countless generations. The City of Silver has a very prevalent Military Culture and Warrior Culture mixed up together.

Faut, the City of Miracles, a place where the Byrgenwerth resides together with its Eight Colleges of Magic, it is the Magical center of The Empire. Today, the Faust is responsible for most of the Magical and Arkanotek development of the Imperium.

3rd POV

Somewhere in the Athel Loren, the inner area of the Athel Loren, G-1 Mobile Base, Several Days Later

After several days passed since Karl Franz and his entourage found Cirilla, who was being pursued by the Wild Hunt. To the surprise of the Holy Imperator, not even after they annihilated the entire Squadron of the Wild Hunt, there were no traces of the Wild Hunt.

That was somewhat surprising because practically everyone predicted that the Wild Hunt would come to this world once again, but it seemed that they chose to refrain from taking such an action this time around.

In the end, after a few more days, Karl Franz decided that it was already time to return to the Anor Londo. Part of the reason was the threat of the Wild Hunt that was looming over their heads, it was logical to retreat back to the Anor Londo.

In the end, that place was far better protected than the Athel Loren that had a bunch of Stormcast Eternals within the Athel Loren. Even though the Stormcast Eternals were as vigilant as ever, the protections that were in the Anor Londo were impregnable for any foe.

The journey to the Anor Londo was rather fast, not only because the Athel Loren was relatively close to the Holy Imperial Capital of the Anor Londo but also because they were going at the top speed that the G-1 Mobile Base was capable of exerting.

In this area, Cirila was especially excited at the idea of going into the Holy Imperial Capital of the Holy Arcadia Empire. Not many times has she been able to go into such cities when she visited the worlds where she had arrived

She also knew the significance of the Anor Londo, not only from the political meaning but also for the Religion of the Holy Arcadia Empire. Anor Londo had tremendous religious meaning for the Imperial Citizens.

"We are already nearing the Imperial Capital."

Karl Franz remarked when they were nearing the Holy Imperial Capital of the Anor Londo, from the top of the G-1 Mobile Base. They were approaching the Holy Imperial Capital very fast, together with the Stormcast Eternals that were protecting the G-1 Mobile Base.

"Now, for your old question about my social status in this world. Well, I am Karl Franz I. Holswig-Schliestein von Reikland de Anor, the Holy Imperator of the Holy Arcadia Empire and ruler of these lands."

Contrary to what one could expect, Cirilla wasn't as surprised as Karl Franz expected; she was rather smart to figure out that the people who found her didn't have ordinary status within this world and were, for certain, part of the upper castes of society in this new world.

"I have already expected this much... this kind of luxury is something that only the most powerful could have, and if there is something that I learned across many worlds, luxuries are typically only in the hands of the powerful."

It wasn't that surprising, even for Karl Franz, as he knew that she was smart enough to figure out his identity or to have some suspicion about this.

"And the other two? Maria and Cersei? They too should be part of the nobility..."

Ciri already noticed that both of the women also belonged to rather high nobility among the social circles, both albeit pretty much different in their behavior.

It was rather interesting because Ciri did not have many good experiences with people of noble birth, starting from her own biological father to the other people in power who wanted to use her for their own devices.

"Maria Vileblood, Heiress to the Cainhurst, one of the City-States of the Holy Arcadia Empire and its future Lord High Magistrate and Cersei Lannister, daughter of Lord of the Westerlands of the Seven Kingdoms of the Westeros, a nation from another continent across the Sunset Sea."

Cirilla nodded, hearing that both of her assumptions were correct. If there was one thing that she learned during her travel through countless worlds, it was to read people and judge them rather easily.

"We will soon reach the Anor Lodno. The moment we reach the Holy Imperial Capital, you will be in the safest place in the entire world. So, if the Wild Hunt decided to attack the Holy Imperial Capital, then they would just meet their doom here. Though Maria and Cersei would be returning to the Cainhurst, both of them have some duties within the Cainhurst, but Maria will return a few days later after she finishes the matters up there."

Karl Franz stated that because he knew that there wouldn't be many familiar people within the Anor Londo when they arrived there, basically, Ciri knew only three of them in the known world of Azyr.

Though, now that Maria was named as the Lord General-Kommandant of the Stormcast Eternals, she was forced to spend most of the time in the Anor Londo.

Due to being in the post, she was right now spending most of her time at the Anor Londo, contrary to the previous state, when she was running around here and there.

Previously, Maria was spending most of her time in the wilderness, hunting for the powerful Danger Beasts or powerful foes, especially Orks and other foes of the Holy Imperium. It was certainly a welcomed change for Karl Franz that she was finally spending more time within the Imperial Capital.

Even her mother was increasingly pleased by this because her daughter finally had some duties and was doing something productive. Obviously, her mother, Annalise Vileblood, didn't really consider hunting the Dangers Beasts to be even remotely useful or productive.

"The city is magnificent..."

Cirilla muttered as she looked through the windows of the G-1 Mobile Base at the Holy Imperial Capital of Anor Londo. The look at the Holy Imperial Capital Anor Londo was something splendid and magnificent, especially for the people who were seeing it for the first time in their lives.

She had visited several worlds and seen many things, but she had to admit that the place was one of the most magnificent and beautiful that she had seen in her whole life. Even from a distance, the place was majestic, and even the tall walls that were protecting the Anor Londo were a unique piece of craftsmanship.

"Even though the Anor Londo is the Imperial Capital of the Holy Arcadia Empire, the city itself has a very low population, technically speaking. Obtaining a permit to own a house or to have a permanent residence within the Anor Londo is very hard and is normally reserved only for the members of the Imperial Nobility, Officers of the Imperial Military, powerful warriors, Magic Users of the Empire, and some other important personnel of the Imperium. Thus, the city itself has a permanent population numbering in a few tens of thousands. Other people are not allowed to set foot in the Anor Londo, not even temporarily."

Karl Franz explained some peculiarities of the Anor Londo to Ciri, who would be living in the Holy Imperial Capital for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, compared to the overpopulated cities of Westeros, Free Cities of Essos, or even other Capitals of the Grand Provinces of the Holy Imperium, Anor Londo seemed to be rather deserted.

Living in the Anor Londo was probably one of the biggest credits to the status that the person could obtain within the Holy Arcadia Empire. Having property in the city was something akin to a noble status itself, due to how strict the conditions were to obtain the permit to live in the Anor Londo.

Soon enough, the G-1 Mobile Base passed through the Celestial Dragon Gate, one of the main entrances to the Holy Imperial Capital, and headed directly towards the Imperial Palace of the Anor Londo.

"We will be disembarking from the G-1 Mobile Base as soon as we reach the gatepoints to the Wall Maria."

Karl Franz said to Ciri, who was looking at everything in the streets of the Holy Imperial Capital Anor Londo in wonder, like a child who is introduced to a wider world for the first time, as everything had a certain magic to her.

She could see that there were indeed very few people in the streets of the Anor Londo, even though the city itself was humongous, even bigger than some of the biggest metropolises in that techno world she visited.

Such a large city could easily house millions, yet only a small fraction of that number actually lived here.

Though she could see that every person who lived there, every woman and man who walked through the streets of the Anor Londo, was certainly powerful, each of them gave her a weird feeling of danger.

Many of them had powerful magical signatures, signifying powerful magical capabilities, which was another sign of the heritage of the Anor Londo. Every single house or building built within the city couldn't be classified as less than a luxurious manor. One of the perks of living in the Holy Imperial Capital was that every person who lived here lived in absolute luxury.

This was apparently just a district for the commoners and warriors of lesser renown. Those who were truly powerful lived in a separate district of the Anor Londo that was closer to the Imperial Palace.

That was where the Bloodline Lineage Aristocratic Families had their residence or where truly powerful warriors, Magicians, and other Professionals who were the true backbone of the Imperium dwelled.

"When it comes to the Anor Londo, not even members of the Imperial Nobiltiy have a free pass to the Capital; the conditions are the same to the nobles and commoners alike. Though, the Nobiltiy of the Holy Arcadia Empire has more privileges, mostly due to their superior Lineages that gives them an edge over the equally ranked Professionals of the simple origin."

The rule of entrance to the Holy Imperial Capital Anor Londo was ultimate: to the solider, to civilian, to noble, to commoner, to royal, to everyone.

Nobody without sufficient strength, power and contribution to the Imperium is actually allowed to live in the Holy Arcadia Empire. This was the ultimate rule of entrance to the Holy Imperial Capital.

There were only two exceptions to the rule, one of them was the spouse of the said person who already had the permit, and another was the direct descendant of the said person. However, when it came to the descendants, they were then required to leave the Anor Londo to enlist in one of the Academies of the Imperium and then enlist in the Imperial Army.

Children of powerful Professionals or prominent Nobility could visit once per day for one day, that was all that was allowed within the Anor Londo.

And that was all...

Even Ciri was rather puzzled by the many rules imposed on one city.

Soon enough, they arrived in front of the checkpoint, where they were forced to disembark from the G-1 Mobile Base, Sacred Imperial Dragon, because the G-1 Mobile Base couldn't pass through the trio of walls.

"What are those walls?"

She asked as she saw walls separating the enormous building complex that stood on the top of a small hill, or it would be more precise to call it a small mountain or whatever, from the rest of the city.

"Those are the Walls of Maria, Rose and Sina... they are the final defense of the Imperial Palace in case the Anor Londo has fallen to the enemy. Because the Imperial Palace was built by Lord Gwyn on the top of the Ashen Mountains, we have decided to build three sets of walls to separate the Imperial Palace from the rest of the city."

The Walls Maria, Rose, and Sina were one of the engineering marvels of the Anor Londo, constructed by the top engineers, blacksmiths, and stonemasons of the Holy Arcadia Empire during the timespan of several decades.

"We are going to disembark from the G-1 Mobile Base..."

Karl Franz stated when the G-1 Mobile Base stopped in its tracks before the entrance to the Wall Maria, which was already surrounded by the Stormcast Eternals donned in their characteristic blue-colored armors and wearing golden masks over their faces.

Maria and Cersei have already gotten down from the G-1 Mobile Base, waiting for Karl Franz and Cirilla to exit the portable fortress. They had just returned from the very long trip to Athel Loren, and both of them were rather glad to be back.

However, it was clear that Cersei was far more happier being back because she had acclimated to the high standards of the Imperial aristocratic life very fast and greatly enjoyed the luxuries and comforts of the Holy Arcadia Empire.

"Don't look at everything with a jaw-dropping look; it is getting annoying already..."

The Holy Imperator stated as Cirilla frowned a bit but nevertheless stopped looking at everything with such a dumb look. She understood that such behavior would make a rather poor first impression on many people, considering the status of Karl Franz and his female companions in this world.

"Your Holy Majesty."

One of the Stormcast Eternals said, indicating that he was the leader of the detachment. He wasn't an ordinary leader of the Stormcast Eternals; he was Lord Celestant Prime of the Reiksgarde Temple of the Stormcast Eternals, Atreus Atreides.

"Lord Celestant Prime."

Karl Franz gave him a nod as Cersei quietly found her way to him, interlocking her arms with his own, as they were led by the detachment of the Reiksgarde Stormcast Eternals through the Walls Maria, Rose, and Sina.

Passing through the Maria, Rose, and Sina was always rather experience, especially for Cirilla, who saw the engineering marvels of the dwarves of the Holy Arcadia Empire. The interlocked three sets of walls, various defenses, and other fortifications were all meticulously built and placed to achieve maximum effectiveness.

"It is beautiful... rather marvelous. Are you saying all of this was made by the dwarves?"

The young witcher looked at everything in absolute wonder.

Considering the sheer fact that in her home world, the dwarves faced heavy discrimination like the rest of the non-human species, they never had the opportunity to showcase their skills properly.

"Not only the dwarves, but also the other species, namely there was a good number of Gnomes participating on this and also many humans of the Lordran participating in this endeavor."

Karl Franz explained the origins of the Walls as they passed the first Wall, the Wall Maria and were currently on the bridge connecting the Walls Maria and Rose.

"It is rather to see a world where so many races could coexist in harmony... unfortunately, in my homeworld, such a thing would be considered impossible."

In her world, humans heavily discriminated against non-human species; only the Nilfgaardian Empire was better in the area, despite its motives for such policy and other things. In the end, only in the Nilfgaardian Empire the non-humans, such as dwarves, elves, or dryads were given the same or similar rights as their human contemporaries.

It was also due to that reason the Northern Realms were in a state of danger from the non-human species because most of them were keen to join the Nilfgaardians when the Niflgaard was attacking the Northern Kingdoms of the Continent.

This was very shocking and surprising, but in the Northern Realms, the status of non-humans was very bad.

The pogroms on the non-humans were rather common, and they faced discrimination and harsh treatment always everywhere where they went.

Meanwhile, the Nilfgaard Empire rather smartly utilized the non-human races, and for freedom and rights, they obtained experience from the non-human races. The engineering and blacksmithing capabilities of the dwarves, the stealth and assassination skills of the elven rangers, and so on were all in the hands of the Nilfgaard.

The Northern Kingdoms could survive the attack of the Nilfgaard only by banding together and fighting the Nilfgaard Empire together as one, but even that was proving to be futile...

With each war that the Niflgaard Empire launched on the Northern Kingdoms, more and more from their territories became part of the Empire, and more of the nations that belonged to the Northern Realms fell to the Nilfgaardian Empire.

"Even in the Lordran and the Imperium, the fusion wasn't easy, but in the end, it happened with enough time. In the early years of the Imperial age and the formation of the Eternal Imperium, there were a lot of radicals on each side who were firmly against the formation of a nation where basically every species was equal, and the only thing that mattered was loyalty to the nation and citizenship."

Karl Franz reminisced about the formation years of the Holy Arcadia Empire and the early challenges from the human and vampire supremacists, dwarven conservatives, and gnomish isolationists.

It required a lot of effort to pull off mutual understanding, and resources to quell all resistance from various interest groups among many species that were creating the Holy Arcadia Empire... another thing that was required was a lot of time and mutual understanding.

The thing that there was a looming threat above the head of every single person living in the Lands of the Ancient Lords, either from the Orks living in the Orklands, Drukhari in the Naggaroth, the Daemons in the Dark Lands, or the Chaos Cultists that were dwelling among the citizens of the Holy Arcadia Empire.

Unity through the constant threats from the outside was something that united the people of the Holy Arcadia Empire eight hundred years ago.

In the grand, majestic hall, part of the Imperial Palace, the main hall was illuminated by warm, golden light streaming through high windows. The hall was vast, with towering arches and ornate decorations.

Statues of regal figures line the walls, adding to the sense of grandeur. Most of them were significant figures of the Holy Arcadia Empire; either they were statues of the Heroes of the Imperial Pantheon, important figures of history, or the Imperial Saints.

A long, blue carpet runs down the center of the hall, leading to an elevated area at the far end. In the foreground, four figures were walking down the carpet; Karl Franz was showing Cirilla the premises of the Imperial Palace, who was marveling at everything around her.

The structures and architecture of the Imperial Palace were so beautiful and majestic that it was breathtaking, truth to be told.

The hall was filled with people this time, contrary to the usual silent appearance of the Imperial Palace, where only the members of the Stormcast Eternals and staff of the Imperial Palace walked through these majestic halls.

Most of them were officers from the Imperial Military or representatives of the Imperial Nobility because it was the date for the ceremony, probably for something that Karl Franz had already forgotten about.

The crowd was dressed in period-appropriate garments, all appropriate for the Imperial Throne, the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight that was at the end of the long hallway in the Throne Room.

"Does anyone remember what is taking place here?"

Karl Franz asked as he looked at Maria, who shook her head in denial, not knowing what was going on at the Imperial Palace.

"No, but the Grand Chamberlain would probably know, judging by the presence of the various military officers, is it time for the Military Awards Ceremony for the Holy Crusade against the Children of Bul-Khatos in the Badlands."

Most of the Imperator's schedule was in the hands of the Grand Chamberlain of the Imperial Palace, so most of the time, he didn't really have an overview of things that he needed to do or the events that he needed to attend.

"Hmm... we will take care of it at a later date... now let's come..."

Soon enough, their little group of four arrived at the throne room, where the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight was located. The Throne Room was even more grandiose than the rest of the Imperial Place, based on what Ciri has seen up till now.

When she looked at the Imperial Throne, she noticed a very weird feeling stirring deep inside her, something that she hadn't felt till now. It was some sort of very primal feeling, deep in her very own bloodline.

Like the Elder Blood within her body was reacting to the weird aura that the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight was releasing. It was rather subtle, but the Dine Throne of Blood and Sunlight didn't have the word "Divine" in its name for nothing.

As the primordial artifact created by the Lord Gwyn himself, the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight was created by the Lord Gwyn with several materials that couldn't be found on the material plane, and it also contained traces of the Divinity of the Lord Gwyn himself.

"What is that thing being released from the Throne?"

Cirilla asked the Holy Imperator as she looked at the Divine Throne while gulping down nervously because the weird feeling within her body was increasing with each moment, and she could feel her blood boiling a bit.

The effect of the Divinities that were left by Lord Gwyn on the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight seemed to stir up something within the previously dormant Elder Blood in her body.

"When the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight was made by Lord Gwyn, he made use of remains of several beings that could be deemed as Demigods and even Gods... in the end, after the end of the Age of Ancients when Lord Gwyn ascended to the Higher Dimensional Being, he infused his Divinities into the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight, giving it the properties of the Sunlight. And after the beginning of the Age of Strife, when the Old Blood was discovered under the Yharnam, sometime after, someone discovered the Divine Throne of Sunlight and infused the Old Blood into the Divine Throne it... and at the end of the unification of the Lordran, I personally used the corpse of the fledgling of the Great One and Pthumerian Queen to elevate it to the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight."

Karl Franz explained the origins of the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight that was formatted and evolved through the millenias, until it evolved into the status and form it was today, a sentient artifact of unparalleled power.

"The Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight is more than just a fancy decoration in the Imperial Palace or just an average symbol of the power and authority of the Emperor. It is a powerful artifact that is able to tremendously enhance the power of the person bonded to the Throne itself, enhancing the Magical Potential several times over, not to mention it was also capable of awakening the dormant potential of the people aside from the other and other functions."

The Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight was the most crucial artifact of the Holy Arcadia Empire that was the cornerstone of the entire Holy Arcadia Empire. Every person of significance was bound to the will of the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight, ensuring their undying loyalty towards the Holy Imperium.

The existence of the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight was one of the reasons why there was zero to none corruption, traitors and failures in the higher administration of the Holy Imperium.

"Fascinating... so the feeling I am getting is from the Divine Throne? It seems to be resonating with my Elder Blood..."

Karl Franz knew that the Divine Throne must have a pretty strong stimulating effect on the Elder Blood within her body; though such a short time of exposure to the Divine Throne wouldn't be enough to trigger a complete awakening of the Elder Blood; it was clear that the process had slowly begun.

He estimated that the longer time she spent around the proximity of the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight, the more probable it became that the Elder Blood would awaken entirely in her body.

"Yes indeed... it is highly possible that prolonged exposure of the Divine Throne's aura would entirely awaken the Elder Blood in your body to complete state, though I have a bit of feeling that it would require more than that..."

He said, though he almost muttered the last part silently because he was aware that she had some sort of block when it came to the Elder Blood. Due to the especially strong presence of the Elder Blood, it was rather intriguing and confusing that the Elder Blood was still dormant, especially at this age.

Not to mention, she visited several high-magic worlds, as it seemed the Elder Blood should have awakened a long time ago, probably the first time she visited some really powerful magical world, and yet the Elder Blood was still dormant.

So the only explanation was the fact that she had some sort of mental block...

Nevertheless, now it wasn't time to dwell on these matters.

"When you are done talking, perhaps we can continue to the personal areas of the Sanctus Imperialis?"

The Sanctum Imperialis is the heart of the Inner Palace, the Hall of the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight, deep within the Inner Palace past the Eternity Gate, which they passed only a few moments ago when they arrived at the Throne Room.

Only the members of the Stormcast Eternals and a few select Imperial servants are allowed to pass through the Inner Palace's Eternity Gate and enter the presence of the Holy Imperator of the Holy Arcadia Empire.

Just like the Ultimate Gate separated the Outer Area of the Imperial Palace from the Inner Area of the Imperial Palace, the Eternity Gate separated the more public areas of the Sancuts Imperialis from the rest of the Throne Room, the personal chambers of the Imperial House, and other restricted areas of the Sanctus Imperialis to which only a selected few had access.

"We are going... though, you had to admit that to the people seeing it for the first time, seeing the Divine Throne in real life is rather shocking..."

Karl Franz muttered almost silently as he took the last look at the Divine Throne of Blood and Sunlight.

Several hours later, in the evening, the terrace of the Imperator's chambers

The rest of the day was rather hectic because tomorrow was the Military Awards Ceremony, so after he parted with Maria, Cerseia, and Cirilla, he went to the office of the Grand Chamberlain of the Imperial Palace, Sebas Tian, to discuss the program for tomorrow and finish some of the latest preparations.

Similar ceremonies were very important within the Holy Arcadia Empire, because of the Imperial Militaristic and Warrior culture; being awarded the medals or something for their service was very important, and it was always a big thing.

It took a rather long to discuss all matters regarding the Imperial Military Awards Ceremony because, this time, he would be awarding Military Awards for the achievements done in the Holy Crusade against the Children of Bul-Khatos.

After finishing the matters, he returned back to his chambers to rest from the long journey and a lot of administrative work that he had done in the afternoon. Cirilla was shown to her room by Maria; her room was not that far from his own, in the inner heart of the Sanctus Imperialis.

Even though this place was enough to accommodate a few hundred people, the actual number could be counted on one hand. Aside from Karl Franz and Maria, Cersei recently got her room within the residential part of the Sanctus Imperialis, and Cirilla also got one of the rooms.

On top of them, there were several rooms reserved for a very limited number of people, including the High Chancellor of the Landsraad and a few ministers of the High Council of the Imperium.

"You are looking more gloomy today compared to the usual..."

He heard a female voice coming from the back while he was observing the night panorama of the Anor Londo, the Holy Imperial Capital of the Empire. The night panorama of the Anor Londo was something beautiful, with all of the lights across the city being lit up...

Maria Vileblood strode to him, hugging her fianceé from behind, gently pressing her head on his shoulder as they watched the night panorama of the Anor Londo. Even Maria had to admit that the peaceful sight of the Anor Londo was nice, and they had a rather romantic magic moment.

"Partially... just pondering over the matters and the future."

He muttered as he patted her head gently, as they together observed the night panorama of the Anor Londo.

"You should relax more; you are becoming more and more workaholic with each passing day... and the levels of stress are not good for you too..."
