I would humbly suggest that you are the one who needs to look into Vista's powers more.I would look into vista's powers more if i where you. She cant do most of this (although she could possible allow some people to move faster on a battlefield or increase the range of some, your right there). The whole point of what i think would make this story good would be that Vista is not over powered and cant just destroy any enemy, but that she can help fight and has supernatural powers other then magic. Hell if you think about it Vista might get the runes that Saito had, or another one of the familar runes.

For one, Vista's power isnt just space-warping. Its Space and Matter warping. Limited only by the presence of living humans within the area of effect, and anchored to physical objects (not areas of space, but objects within that space, like that time she turns a shopping bag into a Bag Of Holding.). Without enough people around, she literally has no limits.
This world has way less people, living in a far lesser density than ours. Vista will be more powerful than any point in canon prior to the Golden Morning (which killed most of the people and unlocked her powers for the final battle). Shes also a brutally fast learner, like skitter, she constantly developed her powers and came up with clever ways to use it, brian complains at one point that shes faster and has new tricks every single time they run into her.
She can warp non-living matter like putty (a effect she uses several times in canon, once to drop a building on Leviathan, and another time she uses it to 'pinch off' chunks of asphalt to attack Skitter with), and by the end of canon her space warps seem to be something she can set up permanently, as well as freely manipulate matter to the point that she can get artistic with it rather than just making crude lumps.
I actually pretty much said i hadnt looked and would need too in order to verify but that some of the initial story seemed off. One of the first things i said was this was a good crossover ideas and i didnt want to scare off the author but provide some help if i could. The initial story i thought needed a rewrite, or a beta maybe. If Missy is from the start of canon then she wouldnt be that experienced yet. My point was for 12 year old vista she seemed overpowered.
And her power makes running away quite easy, especially in a country with minimum population to trigger her Manton Limit. Will the familiar bond allow her to realize she might be mastered and react with what SERE training and solo master/strange protocols she knows? She's been a ward in Brockton Bay the longest, so she must have learned some things.
Well, if she does stick around I just want to see the Albion arc.And her power makes running away quite easy, especially in a country with minimum population to trigger her Manton Limit.
You do realize that Guiche is just slightly older than Missy, and he was double timing on Mon-Mon with an underyear by the name of Katie.
Missy isn't that young. She's just the youngest in the Wards...
People get so caught up on middle schoolers being younger than high schoolers that they miss that it isn't that much younger. The same thing happens with Dinah; twelve is young, but she's one year away from being a teenager, so she's not a little kid.Missy isn't that young. She's just the youngest in the Wards...
The wiki cites a manga chapter (vol 17 chp 4) for establishing her age as 16 at the start (probably had her 17th birthday in that chapter)I was always under the impression that the ZnT cast starts out at around 15 years old. I don't know if the author/creator ever set an actual age.

The year is longer in ZnTverse. The characters are physically older than their stated age.The wiki cites a manga chapter (vol 17 chp 4) for establishing her age as 16 at the start (probably had her 17th birthday in that chapter)
Eh, more like 10 months. Assuming she had her seventeenth birthday in in world years it'd make them very nearly 18 in RL years, only about a month and a half off. Scaling out 17-18 in RL years would be a safe assumption for most of canon.Edit: nvm, checked the SB back to basics threads(ZnT wiki is worthless and sometimes plain wrong) and it's just 384 days-long year so it's at best a few months difference at this age.
That's assuming their day has the same amount of minutes/hours as ours, of course.Eh, more like 10 months. The ZnT characters are 16-18. Missy is 12. That's more of a difference than you seem to give credit. You do realize that Guiche is just slightly older than Missy, and he was double timing on Mon-Mon with an underyear by the name of Katie.

Actually, adult life for women began as soon as puberty had progressed enough to widen their hips, making it safe for them to bear children. This sometimes happened as early as 8 (though usually 11-13). Depending on how far Missy's puberty has progressed, she may be considered a 'valid target.'FrenchNobility. Relationships start early and adult life began around 16.
I did a quick fact check. in the 1200's if a male (didn't find the figure for females, but wasn't looking that hard) made it to 20, they could expect to make it to 45.The average life expectancy thing is a crock, the much lower life expectancy for medieval era and whatnot is near entirely due to child mortality rates, the average lifespan for people who make it to age 20 tended to be a lot closer to 60 than anything like 30 or 40. With the bonus of magic a life expectancy for adult nobles in the 60+ range would be pretty unremarkable really. Even commoners should do better, if not anywhere near as much.
its all in that infant/child mortality rate though, a huge portion of people never made it to the age of 20.
