Others were considered for the role, but as we wanted someone very active on the board and with the proper temperament, Bii was the choice that staff landed on in the end. The rest of the staff has absolute faith that this was the correct decision, and we'll leave the notice banner up for ~3 days so that the majority of users can see this thread and prevent any confusion.

Oh. I just recalled some of the things Tanuki are famous for.

I hope they would rather go with sexy trickster spirit with a gourd of wine, rather than a pair of fat nuts.

Either way, should be interesting.
