Hey yall its that time again! Theoretical questions on what youd do if inserted into fiction with a specific power!

So, what would you do if you were inserted into your most beloved piece of fiction with the butchers shard (You ONLY have the ability to posses those who kill you from the start.) Who would you try to get to kill you? And for added spice: it only works 3 times. After that if you die and have no other means of ressurection you just die. (Obviously the power is adjusted slightly so it works on any power system AND you retain conciousness and you keep ALL abilitys of somebody you subsume.)

I'll go first! Divinity orginal sin 2. I would hopefully land in either fort joy or the boat at the very start of the game. First person i'd try to get to kill me? The red prince. Simply put my other two targets are either A) too important to my plan to die just yet or B)further on in the game.
You see, my other two targets would be Fane and Braccus Rex. Now you may ask why i dont go for lucien or the god-king. Essentially fanes time based source ability AND his sheer arcane knowledge is invaluable. He did create the very gods afterall. And why braccus rex? He, even if in a moment of surprise overwhelmed Lucien and alot of others. I think that raw power would be useful.

Obviously not gonna go too deep into detail (this aint the fanfic portion afterall) but my ultimate goal would be to become divine.

Your turn!

As a Harry Potter fan, I'd probably start out trying for Death Eaters or other muggle haters (By hanging around Charing Cross Road, London and pissing off anyone that dresses funny) to get magic in the first place then try to piss off a house elf since their wandless magic is OP. A visit to the Crouch's house and threatening JR ought to do the trick there.

Might try to get myself killed by the Flamels if I can find them, and get myself killed by some wizard with health problems such as a heart condition and/or poison myself enough to get one and try to get Dumbledore to accidentally kill me with a stunner or whatnot. Maybe by threatening a student of his in front of him, that ought to do it.

If that works then I can follow canon, let Snape kill Dumbledore to get his potions knowledge then let Voldemort to kill me to become one of the most powerful dark lords then let Harry Potter kill me to become one of the best fliers. I'd probably stick with Potter after that, at least for a lifetime until I'm ready to be young again, not a lot of other major magical talents I'd want.

Metamorphmagus is really the only talent I'd be skipping out on because it has the downside of an emotional connection to the power considering Tonk's hair seems to act like a mood ring, that plus the clumsiness when changing sizes means I'd not want her ability when polyjuice is nearly as good without such side effects. Might be funny to overexaggerate being terrified of She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named because I really don't wanna be a klutz, with so many powerful people afraid of her the rumors would probably end up hilarious.
