• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is just my computer being weird or a problem with the site, but sometimes I try copying some text from another person's post it comes in indented to the right of my normal text.

I don't know if I'm the only person who has this problem, but I was just going to throw this out here as an annoyance that I was hoping could be fixed if at all possible.

Thank you for your time.

That's not unique to you and is a result of selecting too much and copying....

My own little quirk comes up when I'm about to publish a story. I write in Microsoft Word, and when I copy/paste a story over to the QQ submission box, the title always ends up on the left side of the screen, rather then the center where it is in the Word document. Easy enough to fix, so I wouldn't have mentioned it if it weren't for this thread.

Rich-text copy-paste is a somewhat fiddly endeavor in general, and on QQ's end it's handled by an extension which is something of a black box. My general recommendation here is to fix formatting quirks from copy-paste manually, and if this becomes too difficult, to paste BBcode into the plaintext editor.

If there's a specific bad format in the rich text editor which you can't fix from inside it, often you can switch to plaintext temporarily and remove the formatting there, then switch back.
