Self-Insert Thunderdome is a curious idea, yes. Have multiple entitites with wildly contrasting traits/properties all mashed together and either directly charged with combating one another, or plain clashing due to proximity alone.

Would be ungainly incredibly quickly however, keeping track of everything.

My Avatar is still Karin Sauer from Fear and Hunger. Still a journalist dedicated to covering wars, exposing injustice, and fighting ancient Lovecraftian gods. If I woke up as her I would probably continue to do that. Albeit using my newly found magical powers not just to protect myself, but also run a successful Twitch Channel to help fund my goals and make it harder for powerful people to target me.

I wake up as Jacky, the MC from my PTIC fic.

First thing first, checking if my brain roomie is alright, then if Dell came along - which he should in theory since he's responsible for my pajamas - and finally check if Dark-chan is here too or not - probably-possibly not, but that's alright, I can summon her back easy-peasy after crafting another Millennium Spell book.

Second thing, I call work to tell them I will be 'Mister won't show up' today - cuz' suddenly looking like a dark elf tween when not disguised presents some issues that I need to deal with pronto. I'll probably be posting a notice for resignation sooner than later anyway, so I don't really give a fuck if it's taken badly.

Thirdly, checking with my brain roomie if the golden dumbass is still a me issue - probably not, but since his reach is potentially multiversal, better safe than sorry. Assuming he isn't, I still have a deicide in the work anyway, so it's not like I won't be busy-busy for the foreseeable future.

Fourthly, uh, start thinking real hard about what I'm going to say to the 'rents. Peanuts to coconuts that this won't go swimmingly.

Fifthly, scheme to make the big bucks, mainly by patenting everything I can, and maybe having fun streaming games in the evening while in my true appearance to amuse myself while playing dumb and pretending it's a cosplay.

Overall? Not that bad.
