Feel The Ground Shake (Pokemon - Ground-type specialist)

Any body know how to do that text effect where its a slope of blocks that starts small but then gets bigger? (Lord, I hope I described that right.)

This?

From what I understand it's just the unicode block element with a bunch of size modifiers (you can repeat one size more times for a longer line)
should look like ▉▉▉▉▉▉▉

Is potential show how fast and much they can grow and they can still reach the same level of power as higher potential or do lower potential have a limit
Also hope he finds a good trapinch

Brad has determined a Pokemon's Potential rating to have two effects (one major, one minor). The major effect is that it determines the Pokemon's level cap. He talks about this more in Chapter 1 if you wanna go look. The minor effect is that he thinks it affects how fast a 'mon grows i.e. how quickly they level up.

I don't mind confirming as the author that yes, he is correct on the second point, but technically speaking Bradley the character only has it as a 'theory'.

A Good Arena Trap Pokémon wouldn't hurt, as it is such a broken ability from the tactical standpoint. Trapinch is one of those Pokémon that has such a unique ability, that it doesn't need to be evolved, depending on what team needs. Heck, having a Flygon AND Trapinch could be a pretty good tactical decision here.

In the lore, I could see it as well - as Trapinch is based on Antlion species, losing the ability to trap potential prey could be something a potential Trapinch may not want to lose.

Although, I think Dugtrio would be the best dedicated Arena Trap option. And it's so fast as well.

Lol, no. What part of have fun speculating confused you?

But if this gets traction, sure I'll threadmark it.
i would need to reread this entire thing.
base on this chapter
grundy is nidoking
vlad gliscor
Ma Me ursaring/Ursaluna?, but i am not sure, since i remember a ground type trainer looking for the pete block or whatever

Given Ma Ma disposition I suppose she isn't trying for the blood moon variety as that is special based. Ursaluna is pretty good as is.

As much as I love garchomp he might be over represented and too popular, so that might be out.

Edit. Ninja'd by the author. Karen most likely is steel type of some sort. Atlas would be great if swamped was allowed.

Junior is the swinub. So karn isra and fel.

Grundy - Nidoking
Ma Ma - Ursarang
Vlad - Gliscor
Quagsire
K.Rool - Krokorok
Simon - Golett
Junior - Swinub
Karn - a pile of rocks? Naclstack, stonjourner, giglaith, coalossal and golem are the only ones that come to mind and only one is a ground type. But unless it's a particularly special golem I'm doubting this is the right train of thought.
Isra and Fel - Honestly? hell if I know. Not many pokemon with two heads or bodies and none of them seem to fit, so I guess this is two separate pokemon that are related in some way. Claydoll could work if I squint hard enough.
Atlas - Pretty lofty name unless it's a legendary and has a lot of different potential meanings. Doesn't really fit a flygon much so I'll go with rhyperior.

Oh I saw on discord you said he'd have a regi, kinda makes it obvious

K.Rool= Krokorok (Evolution pending)
Simon= Golett (Evolutions pending)
Junior= Swinub (Evolutions pending)
Karn= ??
Isra and Fel= ??

Speculation
Maybe the Gible line for Karn? Smuggled in from Sinnoh via Team Rocket?
Atlas might be Torterra/Swampert? Both are starters though so tough to get in Jhoto.

If I had to guess is that it isn't a hard level cap just where a Mon starts seeing diminishing returns which compounded with the confirmed growth rating functions like a hard cap for all but the most determined. That Garydos grinded on 1exp activities forever and a day.
