The long dining table stretched beneath the soft glow of golden chandeliers. Candles flickered in the corners of the vast hall, their light glimmering over silverware and polished plates. The aroma of roasted meat, seasoned vegetables, and fresh bread filled the air.

Issei sat near the center, surrounded by his harem, Nyaruko, Kaguya, Evangeline, Priscilla, Shiraori, Henrietta, Lala, Furina, Run, Karura, and Yukina. It was a surreal sight: a table filled with women from countless worlds, eating together as if they were an ordinary family.

Behind them, by the large carved doorway, the two maids, Kalawarna and Raynare stood silently, their posture impeccable, watching over the scene like sentinels awaiting orders.

The first sound to break the tranquil hum of dining was Issei's satisfied sigh as he set his chopsticks down. "Man… this is amazing."

Nyaruko nodded eagerly, her mouth still half full. "Mmm! Darling's right! This is pretty good food!"

Henrietta smiled softly, her hands folded neatly before her. "Most of the credit belongs to Miss Raynare. She did the majority of the work. Yukina and I only assisted her as best as we could. It was a… new experience."

Yukina nodded shyly, her crimson eyes flickering toward Issei. "I've never really cooked before… but she was patient with us. It was fun."

Issei blinked, genuinely surprised. "Wait, Raynare made this?"

The maid in question straightened, her expression calm but with the faintest hint of pride. "Yes, Master. Though the young ladies were very helpful. I merely guided them."

Lala blinked, head resting against her hands. "You're really talented."

Raynare's lips curved just barely upward. "Thank you Mistress Lala. Though I do wonder how you're even able to eat?"

"Right, I keep watching and it's freaking me out!" Issei said with a sweatdrop with many girls nodding along. "Still, thank you. This is really great. But why are you two standing there? Come, sit with us."

Kalawarna and Raynare both blinked, their expressions softening but uncertain. The former cleared her throat delicately. "Master, it would be improper. We are your servants. It would not be right for us to dine beside you."

Raynare nodded, her tone formal. "We will eat later, after ensuring you have everything you need."

Issei frowned, glancing between them. "C'mon, I'm not big on that etiquette stuff. You've been working hard all day, you deserve to—"

A sharp clack echoed as Kaguya kicked him from under the table. "Enough, husband," She said, her regal tone commanding the table's attention. "A proper household maintains order. Servants serve; masters lead. Do not diminish their roles."

Issei sighed, shoulders sagging as he muttered under his breath, "There's just no arguing with you…"

Priscilla, sitting beside him, smirked faintly. "A wise decision. One learns when to pick their battles, Issei."

The others chuckled quietly, though Nyaruko whispered something about "boring old rules" under her breath.

Once the light laughter faded, conversation naturally drifted back to the day's events.

"So…" Henrietta leaned forward with wonder. "How did that little meeting with the devils go?"

Issei rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling awkwardly. "Ah, yeah. It was basically an interrogation. Sona, the president of my school, just wanted to know who we were, what we were doing in her territory, that sort of stuff."

Karura huffed. "Hmph. If they wanted answers, they could've tried to fight for them. Talk is cheap."

Kaguya shot her a sharp look but said nothing.

Issei continued, smiling faintly. "Anyway, it's all handled for now. Oh, and I asked her for a favor."

Evangeline arched a brow, swirling the red liquid in her glass. "Allowinng those devils to request anything from us was truly a foolish move. You do have a talent for making things complicated."

"Hey, it's a good one this time!" Issei said defensively, raising his hands and then turned to Henrietta and Yukina. "I asked her to let some of you join my school. You know, experience being students, blend in a little."

Henrietta blinked. "Join… your school?"

Issei nodded. "Yeah. You might like it. It's calm, normal. A chance to live like regular girls."

Yukina's eyes widened slightly, her chopsticks pausing halfway to her mouth. "A… regular girl…" She whispered the words as though they were something precious, something she'd never imagined for herself. Then, slowly, she nodded, a small smile forming. "If… it's allowed… I'd like that."

Henrietta smiled, her eyes soft but curious. "It would be… interesting. To learn how your world's education works. I accept as well."

But Shiraori, sitting quietly beside them, did not share their enthusiasm. Her head quickly shook, signaling a no, her eerie red eyes reflecting the candlelight.

Issei understood and sweatdropped, rubbing his temple. "Yeah, I kinda figured you'd say that…" He then started counting on his fingers, "Nyaruko, Run, Henrietta, and Yukina will be joining. Anyone else?"

The table went quiet again. Evangeline yawned pointedly, looking away. Kaguya looked completely disinterested. Lala was too busy staring at a glowing spider silk thread hanging from the ceiling. Karura just shook her head. Furina though looked conflicted as she didn't know if she should or not..

Issei chuckled weakly. "Right, right… guess that's a no."

But before the lighthearted mood could settle, Kaguya's sharp voice cut through the table's hum.

"If you girls are going to that devil infested school I would like you to remember this." She said as her gaze swept across the four who had agreed to join. "Those devils will be watching you. They will use this opportunity to learn about us. Be careful what you say, and above all, do not mention the system that binds our husband."

Her words carried authority, and even Nyaruko's grin faltered.

Run gave a short nod, her tone unusually serious. "Understood. I know how to keep my mouth shut when it counts."

Henrietta looked thoughtful, nodding slowly. "We will be careful."

Yukina clasped her hands in her lap, her expression firm despite her shyness. "…We won't cause trouble."

Issei gave them an encouraging smile. "That's all I ask. Just… enjoy yourselves, okay? Have fun with it. I'll tell Sona-kaicho tomorrow and hopefully you'll be allowed to join by next week. "

Kaguya's eyes softened briefly. "You always say such simple things, husband… but sometimes, simplicity hides wisdom."

Issei blinked. "Uh… thanks? I think?"

The girls giggled softly as dinner continued, the tension easing once more.

The chatter around the table had softened into a comfortable hum as dinner drew to an end. The plates were mostly empty, the air filled with the faint scent of roasted herbs and sweet tea. Issei leaned back in his chair, hands resting on his stomach, feeling pleasantly full for the first time that day.

That peace lasted all of thirty seconds.

Evangeline dabbed her lips delicately with a napkin before setting it down, her blue eyes glinting under the chandelier light. "Now that we're finished," She said, her tone cool and matter-of-fact, "we'll resume your training."

Issei froze mid-sigh, eyes widening. "Eh?! Again?!"

The vampire gave him a knowing smirk. "Yes. You didn't think we'd let your power stagnate, did you? Now that your Sacred Gear has evolved, and know that we know more about it, you're barely scratching its potential. You need to train if you want to control it properly."

Issei groaned, letting his forehead drop into his hands. "Man… I knew this was coming. Every time you say 'training,' I end up getting punched, electrocuted, or launched across the floor…"

"Consider it motivation," Evangeline replied smoothly.

From across the table, Karura leaned forward, her golden eyes gleaming with excitement. "Then I'll join." Her grin was sharp and hungry. "I want to test myself, get stronger and maybe learn something new. I also want my husband to grow stronger. The stronger we are, the stronger our children will be."

"I really doubt that is how it works?!" Issei groaned, slumping deeper into his chair.

Evangeline ignored his complaint and turned her sharp gaze toward the rest of the women. "What about the rest of you? I have no issue taking on more students. The training grounds are large enough."

Lala lifted her head, her long white hair brushing against her shoulders. "I'll join. I'd like to see what passes for strength in this world."

Priscilla set her glass down and gave a small nod. "Training sharpens the body and the mind. I'll participate."

Furina raised her hand dramatically, a playful grin spreading across her lips. "Then count me in! This is the perfect time to make a grand performance of power. It sounds delightful!"

Nyaruko shot up with a wide grin. "Training with Darling?! Of course I'm coming! I'll protect him from getting hurt~"

Issei glanced at her suspiciously. "You mean you'll cause most of the trouble, right?"

Nyaruko's grin only widened. "No promises~"

Evangeline chuckled softly, clearly amused by the chaos she had just invited. "Good. The rest of you?"

Kaguya exhaled through her nose, shaking her head with quiet disdain. "Fighting and rolling in dirt? Hardly something I find appealing. I'll pass."

Henrietta smiled politely, setting down her utensils. "I must decline as well. I am not a warrior. I can wield magic, but I do not find joy in battle."

Beside her, Yukina nodded quickly, clutching her hands to her chest. "I-I'm not really good at fighting either… I'd rather help in other ways."

Shiraori tilted her head slightly, but then shook her head in the negative again.

Run leaned lazily against her hand, smiling. "Same here. Besides, I'd rather spend my evening getting fitted for some new clothes."

That last comment caught Kaguya's attention. The exiled princess turned toward Shiraori, looking at her eagerly. "Speaking of which… Shiraori, might I request a few garments of my own? Your craftsmanship is quite exquisite from what I observed.."

Run brightened, sitting up straight. "Ooh, me too! I want something cute! The quality of what you made for Yukina and Henrietta is amazing."

All eyes turned to Shiraori, who blinked once before giving a faint, pleasant smile and started to eagerly shake her head in the positive.

Run clapped her hands together with a grin. "Perfect!"

Kaguya inclined her head gracefully. "You have my gratitude."

The mood at the table lightened again, and conversation scattered into smaller pockets—some teasing, some planning, some casual banter that echoed faintly off the castle's high walls.

Evangeline rose from her seat, her long hair shimmering faintly in the candlelight. "Very well, then. Those joining the training meet me in the dojo after an hour. Rest while you can." She turned her blue eyes toward Issei, smirking. "And you, boy—try not to die this time."

Issei slumped in defeat. "Why do you always make it sound like I might?!"

Karura chuckled deeply, stretching her arms. "If you die, I'll just bring you back for another round."

"That doesn't help!"

Nyaruko laughed, tugging at his sleeve. "Come on, Darling! Think of it as a bonding experience!"

Furina twirled on her heel dramatically. "Then I shall perform a spectacle of strength and grace!"

Priscilla gave a soft smile, her calm voice grounding the chaos. "I'll make sure you survive."

As the laughter and chatter echoed through the grand dining hall, the group began to rise one by one, each heading toward their own tasks—some to prepare for training, others to seek Shiraori's skill with silk, and a few simply to rest after the long day.

Issei lingered for a moment, glancing around the lively hall with a quiet smile. Then his eyes fell on Evangeline, who was already disappearing down the corridor, her voice faintly echoing back toward him.

"Don't keep me waiting, Issei. Your real training begins tonight."

Issei sighed deeply, rubbing his temple. "Yeah, great. Pain, screaming, and exhaustion… my favorite." But even as he grumbled, a faint smile tugged at his lips. And with that, he followed the others into the castle's winding halls.

The soft light of the hanging lanterns bathed the dojo in a warm, amber glow. The polished wooden floor reflected their silhouettes.

Issei sat cross-legged on a mat near the center, looking nervously at the woman standing in front of them. Evangeline's pale skin caught the light like porcelain, her blue eyes sharp, while her long blond hair framed her face in perfect stillness. Beside her stood Raynare in her black-and-white maid uniform, her expression composed.

Issei raised his hand weakly, glancing between them. "Um, not that I'm complaining or anything, but… why's Raynare here?"

Raynare bowed gracefully. "Lady Evangeline requested my assistance. I am here to help in Lady Evangeline's lesson."

"Lesson?" Issei repeated, blinking.

Evangeline's lips curved faintly, a flash of amusement glinting in her eyes. "Yes, lesson. Tonight we will not have a spar, no punches, no running laps, no screaming about pain or exhaustion."

Nyaruko immediately leaned toward Issei with a wide grin. "Hehe~ You hear that, Darling? No pain this time! Maybe this'll be the first lesson you survive throughout the night!"

Issei slumped. "Gee, thanks for the encouragement…"

Evangeline ignored them and turned to face the group. "Today, we focus on something else entirely. It's about time you learned the basics of magic."

The reaction was immediate.

"Magic?!" Lala blinked, holding her detached head close in surprise. "But I can't use magic."

"Nor can I," Karura said bluntly, crossing her arms. "In my world, magic is nothing but a tale told to fools and charlatans."

Nyaruko raised her hand like an eager student. "Same here! I'm more of a cosmic entity of chaos, not a magician!"

Priscilla tilted her head, her calm golden-green eyes thoughtful. "I possess magic energy in my body… but I've never been taught formal spells."

And then, of course, Furina couldn't resist making her presence known. She placed a hand on her hip, striking a dramatic pose. "Well, I am a master of Hydro manipulation, you know. Water bends to my will with divine grace! So yes, I'd say I already have that part covered."

Issei scratched his cheek nervously. "You know, Evangeline, I'm pretty sure you once told me I was hopeless when it came to magic."

Evangeline gave him a look, half teasing, half serious. "Oh, you are. Completely talentless."

"Hey!"

"But," She continued smoothly, "even the talentless can learn something. It's better to have a weak flame than no flame at all. With practice, you might even become… decent."

Issei sighed dramatically. "Great. That totally fills me with confidence."

Ignoring his sarcasm, Evangeline motioned for them to listen. "Now, before we begin, I want to share something I noticed earlier. It concerns Lala and Priscilla."

Both women blinked, exchanging a look.

"When Raynare demonstrated that transformation spell for disguising your true appearance." Evangeline went on, "you two learned it surprisingly fast. Neither of you should have been capable of casting magic that easily, yet after a few tries, you performed it almost perfectly. That shouldn't have been possible."

Lala tilted her head, her long white hair swaying. "Oh… right. I just followed what she said, and it worked. I thought it was normal."

Priscilla nodded. "The process felt natural. I didn't have to force the magic out; it simply… obeyed."

Evangeline folded her arms, eyes narrowing in thought. "Exactly. Which is why I'm curious. Lala," she said, turning to the Dullahan, "how did you manage to cast a spell if you claim you have no magic?"

Lala opened her mouth, paused, and blinked. "…I… actually don't know."

The group exchanged glances.

Evangeline turned back to them, her tone thoughtful. "That's what concerns me. Somehow, all of us, the summoned girls, have gained abilities we didn't possess in our original worlds." Her words hung in the dojo like the toll of a distant bell.

Karura frowned, flexing her fingers as if feeling for energy in her body. "So you're saying this world gave us magic?" She asked slowly. "Or is it because we're not truly the same versions of ourselves who existed before?" She looked down at her hands. "In my world, power like this was a fantasy. I could only dream of strength like that."

Evangeline shrugged, her expression unreadable. "Possibly. It could be a side effect of the summoning process, the system that brought us here might have reconstructed us in a way that integrates this world's laws of magic."

Raynare stepped forward, her tone measured but curious. "Or perhaps it's a consequence of being bound to Hyoudou Issei, a link between worlds… rewriting what you are to fit this realm's balance."

The group went quiet, each girl processing that in her own way.

Furina tapped her chin thoughtfully. "So, what you're saying is that the system granted us more than just a body, it enhanced us." She smiled dramatically, spinning once. "Then I suppose it's only natural that I'm even more magnificent here than before!"

Issei smiled wishing he had a bit of her confidence. "You really can't go two minutes without bragging, can you?" He then looked back to Evangeline.

Evangeline smiled faintly. "Whether it's this world's law, the system, or Shub-Niggurath herself… it means you all have more potential than you realize."

Then her blue eyes sharpened again, that familiar edge of command returning. "So. Let's see what kind of magic this world has gifted you. Everyone sit down. Cross your legs and with your hands make a circle. Back straight and close your eyes."

Meanwhile Raynare stepped forward beside her, holding a glowing pink orb of light that pulsed faintly in her hands as an example of what they are about to do. "You all possess latent energy inside you. The key is to listen to your own body as Magic comes from within."

"Sounds simple enough!" Nyaruko said cheerfully, already sitting cross-legged but wiggling impatiently.

"It isn't," Raynare replied dryly, eyeing her. "Focus your breathing. Slowly. Deeply. Draw your awareness inward. Picture your energy flowing from your core, like water or fire spreading through your veins."

Furina tilted her head dramatically, already posing with one hand raised as if on stage. "Ah yes, the flow of power! The rhythm of the self! I can already feel the music of my inner brilliance!"

"Sit down," Evangeline said flatly.

Furina frowned but obeyed, mumbling about "audiences that lacked appreciation."

Lala had placed her head in her lap, her calm eyes glowing faintly. "I don't know if last time was a fluke but I'll try."

Evangeline arched a brow. "That's a strange sentence, even for you. But proceed."

Issei peeked at her from under one eye. "Uh, how will we know if it's working?"

"You'll feel it," Raynare said calmly. "It's different for everyone. Some sense warmth, others tingling. For me, it feels like light gathering in my chest before spreading outward."

"Feels like heartburn to me," Issei muttered, earning a light kick from Nyaruko, who hissed, "Quiet, Darling! You'll ruin my concentration!"

A few minutes passed in silence—at least, relative silence. There were soft murmurs of breath, faint hums of energy, and the occasional grumble from Issei about his legs falling asleep.

Evangeline watched them quietly, her blue eyes soft but sharp. "Now… tell me what you sense."

"I feel… something," Priscilla said softly, her eyes still closed. "Like a faint fire in my chest. Gentle… but alive."

Raynare smiled faintly. "Good. That's your mana stirring."

Evangeline nodded approvingly. "I think that would be a Fire affinity, then. Fitting for a dragon."

"Ugh… all I feel is static," Issei muttered, rubbing his head. "Like I'm sitting on a broken washing machine."

Evangeline pinched the bridge of her nose. "That's… progress. Somehow."

"Hey!"

Karura frowned deeply, her hands resting on her knees. "I feel a tingling sensation. Like electricity is coursing through me."

Evangeline put on a thoughtful face. "I believe you have a lightning affinity."

Karura smirked. "Really? Sounds fun."

Meanwhile, Nyaruko's eyes snapped open, glowing faintly silver. "Ooooh, mine's weird! It's like a bunch of buzzing little stars! They're spinning everywhere!"

Raynare blinked. "That's? I'm not sure it even is magic, but… impressive, I suppose."

"Ha! I'm special!" Nyaruko declared proudly.

Evangeline sighed. "Yes, very. Now stop shaking the floor with your excitement."

Lala blinked slowly, looking down at her lap where her head rested. "Mine feels… dark. Like smoke drifting around me."

"Interesting," Raynare murmured, making mental notes. "Possibly an affinity with darkness."

Furina opened her eyes with a flourish. "Mine was obvious, wasn't it? A cool current flowing through my body, smooth and divine. The grace of Hydro herself! My magic is perfection!"

Evangeline deadpanned, "If it's perfection, then please demonstrate it without flooding the castle."

Furina pouted but said nothing, quietly tracing glowing blue droplets in the air.

Priscilla's calm voice broke through next. "I think I understand the sensation now."

Evangeline nodded. "Good. Keep it flowing, but don't overdo it. Mana exhaustion is real."

Issei still sat frowning, his brow furrowed in concentration. He could feel… something, faint and distant, pulsing deep in his chest. Like a slow heartbeat echoing from inside himself. 'Who?'

A faint, deep rumble echoed in his mind. (So, you finally noticed, partner? Honestly I have received such a weird partner this time.)

"Hey! I'm not weird!" Issei spoke out.

Evangeline arching a brow in confusion. "Talking to yourself, Issei?"

"N-No! Just… um… meditating extra hard!"

Karura chuckled. "You're really hopeless."

Evangeline smirked faintly but clapped her hands again to draw everyone's focus. "Alright, that's enough for now. You've each found your center—or at least tripped over it. With more practice, you'll be able to channel your energy outward."

Nyaruko raised her hand excitedly. "Can I shoot mine like a laser?"

Evangeline sighed. "If you do that indoors, I'll freeze you in place for a week."

"Noted!" Nyaruko said while lowering her hand with a pout.

Evangeline then clapped her hands again, the sharp sound echoing through the dojo and pulling everyone's attention back to her. The faint light of the lanterns flickered, casting long shadows on the polished wood as her crimson eyes gleamed with authority.

"Now that you've found your magical cores," She said, pacing slowly before them, "It's time to see what you're actually capable of. You're going to bring out your element, whatever you felt stirring inside. Don't think, just let the energy flow out and manifest."

Raynare stepped to the side, crossing her arms, her violet eyes sweeping over the students. "Focus on your will. Picture the sensation you felt earlier and give it shape."

Issei and the girls started to concentrate, thickening the air. Each of them sitting down on a loose circle.

"Alright," Evangeline said, "show me what you can do."

The first to produce something was Priscilla. The dragon woman took a calm breath, her eyes fluttering shut. Heat shimmered faintly around her fingers, then—fwoosh!—a vivid orange flame burst to life, swirling into a large spiral of fire. It burned bright and pure, dancing with power but never losing control.

Issei's eyes widened. "Whoa… that's awesome, Priscilla!"

She gave a small, serene smile. "It seems I still remember the heart of the flame."

"Impressive control," Evangeline remarked, nodding. "And good restraint. You'd be surprised how many burn their eyebrows off the first time."

Nyaruko giggled. "Ohhhh! OH! My turn! I'll make it more exciting!"

Before anyone could stop her, chaotic energy exploded around her hands. In the span of three seconds, a burst of wind became a jet of water, which turned into flickering embers, then flashing arcs of lightning. The cycle repeated in a dazzling, completely uncoordinated loop.

"Woohoo! Look, Darling! I'm a magical disco ball!"

Issei ducked instinctively as a stray spark shot past his face. "Could you not aim at me?!"

Raynare's hand flew to her forehead. "Her energy output is… impossible to classify."

"Call it what it is," Evangeline said flatly. "Pure chaos."

Nyaruko grinned proudly. "Thank you!"

The next to was Lala. The Dullahan's detached head rested gently on legs while her body raised its hands, black mist curling between her fingers. A low hum filled the room as tendrils of darkness spiraled outward, thick and smooth like liquid shadow.

Lala's head blinked in her lap, eyes wide with childlike wonder. "Look! Darkness! It's so soft and pretty!"

Karura raised an eyebrow. "Pretty? That's one word for it."

Evangeline tilted her head, genuinely intrigued. "Shadow manipulation. Rare and surprisingly stable for a beginner. Well done."

"Thank you!" Lala's body bowed politely while her head continued to look at her magic with enthusiasm.

Then it was Karura's turn. She cracked her knuckles, golden eyes burning with excitement. "Alright. My turn."

She exhaled sharply and brought her hands together, her focus narrowing. Sparks crackled between her palms, small at first, then bursting into bright blue arcs of electricity that snapped and hissed through the air.

"Ha!" She thrust her hand forward, sending a small bolt dancing across the floor, lighting up the dojo in a flash of electric blue.

Issei whistled. "Okay, that's way cooler than whatever mine's gonna be."

Evangeline nodded as she was impressed how she quickly integrated it with her martial arts.

Finally, all eyes turned to Issei. The young man swallowed, feeling every gaze on him. He looked down at his own hands, trying to summon the same focus he'd seen from the others. 'Alright, Issei… you've got a dragon inside you, a gauntlet that can double your power, and an entire harem watching. No pressure.'

He inhaled slowly, reaching for the faint warmth he'd felt earlier in his chest. "Alright," Issei muttered quietly. "Let's do this."

For a moment, nothing happened. Then, a flicker of red light pulsed from his palm. A tiny flame, no larger than a candle's appeared, wavering unsteadily.

He stared at it, a mix of relief and disappointment crossing his face. "...That's it? Seriously?"

Nyaruko blinked. "Aww, it's so cute!"

"Don't call my fire cute!"

Karura chuckled, electricity still crackling faintly along her arms. "Size doesn't matter, husband. What counts is that it burns your enemy."

Evangeline walked up to him, her blue eyes sharp but faintly amused. "It's weak, yes—but it's still a start. Even a flicker can become an inferno with time."

Issei scratched his cheek, sighing. "Guess I've got a long way to go…"

Raynare smiled softly from the side. "Don't underestimate the smallest spark. It's often the one that burns the longest."

Furina, meanwhile, stood with her arms crossed and an overly smug grin. "Hmph. I didn't even need to show mine. You've all seen perfection before—it would be unfair to outshine you."

Evangeline rolled her eyes. "Or maybe you just can't focus long enough to light a candle."

Furina gasped dramatically, clutching her chest. "How dare you! I am the Hydro Archon of elegance! I simply choose my moments!"

The group chuckled, the dojo's once-serious atmosphere melting into laughter and playful banter. Evangeline, standing near the center of the dojo with her arms crossed, surveyed the group with the faintest of smiles. "You're all starting to grasp the basics. But before we end tonight, there's one last lesson."

Issei groaned, his shoulders slumping. "Wait, there's more?"

"Of course," She said lightly, as if it were obvious. "You didn't think I'd let you off that easily, did you? This next one's a technique you'll actually find useful outside of combat magic. Something to enhance your physical capabilities to inhuman levels."

That got everyone's attention. Even Nyaruko stopped bouncing in place.

"The process is simple," Evangeline continued, clasping her hands behind her back as she began to pace. "You take the magic you've just learned to harness, and you pour it into specific parts of your body, your arms, your legs, your core. It strengthens the muscles, hardens reflexes, and heightens movement speed. Think of it as… controlled enhancement."

Raynare stepped forward beside her. "It's dangerous if done wrong," She added in a calm, teacher-like tone. "Too much energy and you'll burn through your reserves—or worse, strain your body to the point of tearing muscle."

Issei's brow furrowed nervously. "So, uh… basically, don't explode myself?"

"Precisely," Evangeline said sweetly.

She gestured to her own legs, and faint traces of glowing red light began to gather around them. "Now watch carefully."

Before anyone could blink, Evangeline vanished.

A rush of air swept through the room, followed by the faintest whisper of movement. The group looked around in confusion—except for Priscilla, whose golden-green eyes narrowed, following the motion with precision.

"She's behind us," The dragoness said calmly.

Everyone turned just as Evangeline reappeared, leaning casually against the wall with her arms crossed, her smile razor-sharp.

"See?" she said. "A simple infusion of mana into your limbs, paired with control and focus. That is the essence of physical enhancement magic."

"Simple, she says…" Issei muttered.

But the awe in the room was palpable.

Priscilla stepped forward first, her expression calm and determined. "I see. So the principle lies in flow, not force." Her body shimmered faintly with heat as red mana surged through her limbs. Then—fwsh!—she vanished in a blur, reappearing near the far end of the room with a gust of wind.

Evangeline's eyes widened slightly, impressed. "Oh! As expected of a dragon. They truly are fast learners."

Next was Furina. The Hydro Archon grinned, flipping her hair dramatically. "Of course I can do that! I was born for grace and movement!" She took a deep breath, letting pale blue energy flow through her legs. Her form flickered once, twice—and then she glided across the dojo floor like a dancer, leaving a trail of shimmering water droplets in her wake.

"Perfection!" She announced, striking a pose. "I'm magnificent even at high speed!"

Issei blinked. "Okay… that was actually kinda cool."

Evangeline sighed but nodded. "Not bad for someone who won't stop monologuing."

The next few attempts were… less graceful.

Nyaruko focused intensely, silver sparks flickering around her. "Alright, let's see… power into my legs and—WHOOSH!" She shot forward so fast that a gust of air knocked over one of the practice dummies. "Ha! Look at me go! Wooho—OH NO!"

In her enthusiasm, she'd grabbed Lala's detached head and started sprinting around the room, laughing like a maniac.

"NYARUKO, GIVE THAT BACK!" Lala's voice echoed furiously from her body, which immediately bolted after her, dark energy trailing behind it. The scene devolved into pure chaos as the headless body chased Nyaruko in circles, both moving faster with each lap.

Issei rubbed his forehead. "Why do I even try to expect her to behave?"

Evangeline pinched the bridge of her nose. "Because you haven't learned yet."

Meanwhile, Karura stood off to the side, watching intently. The air around her crackled faintly as lightning began to crawl along her skin. "So that's all it takes? Pour magic into my body…" Her grin widened. "Sounds easy enough."

A surge of blue lightning flared around her feet, the energy humming with power. In the next instant—CRACK!—she disappeared from her spot and reappeared right in front of Issei.

"Huh—?!"

Before he could even react, Karura threw a kick, which he barely blocked with his arms. The impact sent him skidding backward, the floor groaning under his feet.

"Karura! What the hell?!"

She laughed, her eyes bright and wild. "Don't be dramatic, husband! You said you wanted to learn faster, didn't you?!"

Issei barely had time to yell before she launched herself again, lightning sparking at her heels. He threw himself to the side, adrenaline surging—and suddenly, instinct took over. His body moved faster, lighter. His own flame-colored aura flared to life around his legs.

"Whoa…!" He gasped, dodging another strike.

Evangeline crossed her arms, watching with a small, knowing smile. "Interesting… forced adaptation. Under pressure, he adapts and learns much faster."

Raynare nodded thoughtfully. "So through battle is his trigger. How fitting for the Sekiryuutei."

"HEY, I HEARD THAT!" Issei shouted, ducking under another strike as Karura laughed gleefully.

"Good! Use it! Learn faster!" She shouted, chasing him around the dojo like a predator toying with its prey.

By the time Karura finally stopped, Issei stood panting, sweat glistening on his forehead—but his aura still burned faintly and steady.

Evangeline stepped closer, giving an approving nod. "Well done. You've all made progress tonight." Her blue eyes glimmered with pride—and mischief. "And for once, no one's exploded. I'd call that a success."

Issei collapsed onto the floor, groaning. "Define success…"

Nyaruko finally stumbled to a stop, still clutching Lala's head while the body scolded her and grabbed her head. Furina clapped dramatically. "Bravo, what a performance!"

Karura stretched, smirking as small arcs of lightning danced along her arms. "We should do this again. I like this kind of training."

"Of course you do," Issei muttered, staring at the ceiling. "I'm gonna need a bath after this."

Evangeline turned toward Raynare, who smiled faintly and bowed. "I'll have preparations made, Master Issei."

Issei groaned again but smiled weakly. "Thanks, Raynare…"

The dojo filled with laughter and chatter once more, the tension of training melting into warmth. Outside, the moonlight streamed in through the high windows, illuminating the group of misfits.

And as Issei sat there catching his breath, a quiet thought crossed his mind. 'Yeah… this is totally insane.'

The lamps along the inner hallways burned low, their orange light spilling in soft pools across the polished stone. Issei trudged beside Raynare, one arm clutching a folded set of clean clothes, the other rubbing at his shoulder where Karura's "enthusiasm" had left a bruise. Every muscle ached. 'Evangeline's lessons always end with me nearly dying. I swear she enjoys it'. Still, he couldn't keep the corner of his mouth from curling up. Everyone had fun in the end, even him.

Raynare's footsteps made no sound. The maid uniform she wore looked impossibly pristine for someone who had just helped run a training session. She led him in silence, her posture as straight as a blade.

"This way, Master Issei," She said softly. "The castle's bath has been prepared."

Issei blinked. "You mean there's a bath here? Like… a real one?"

"You'll see soon enough."

He followed as she turned down another corridor. The walls widened into a domed hall, steam already spilling from a half-open doorway at the far end. When Raynare stopped before it, the heat rolling from inside hit him in a wave.

"This is the bathing chamber," she said, stepping aside.

Issei's eyes lit up like a kid in an arcade. "Alright! Finally, something good after all that training!" He slid the door open and froze.

The space beyond could have fit a swimming pool. The ceiling arched high above him in carved cedar beams; lanterns hung over a great pool of steaming water that shimmered in gold and silver reflections. Natural rock framed the bath, and along the edges grew small clusters of bamboo. It wasn't just a bath, it was an onsen. A proper, traditional Japanese hot spring right inside the castle.

He stepped inside, awe widening his grin. "Whoa… this place is amazing! How did—"

The soft click of the door closing behind him made him glance back.

"Eh?" he murmured. "I didn't close that—" He turned and his brain stalled completely.

Raynare was inside with him, fingers already at the buttons of her uniform. One by one they came undone, black fabric falling open to reveal smooth, pale skin and the faint glow of candlelight tracing the curve of her collarbone.

Issei's face went red enough to rival his Boosted Gear. "W-W-Wait! What are you doing?!"

Raynare didn't even blink. Her tone was calm, matter-of-fact, the same voice she used when announcing dinner. "I am joining you in the bath, Master. It is part of my duties to ensure you are properly cared for. After such intense training, you need assistance to wash and relax your muscles."

"I—I can do that myself!" Issei blurted, holding his clothes in front of him like a shield. "Really! Totally fine on my own!"

"Of course you can," she replied evenly, slipping the sleeves from her shoulders, "but as your maid, I will do it for you. That is my responsibility."

"Responsibility—?!" he squeaked. "Raynare, that's not—"

The last of her uniform fell away.

For a heartbeat, his mind went blank. Words deserted him. Her naked, slender, and graceful body, left him stunned. She looked completely unashamed as her oppai were on full display, her calm violet eyes meeting his without hesitation.

'Oh! Father in Heaven, thank you for making such a perfect pair of breasts!' Issei opened his mouth to protest again, but no sound came out. His brain had gone into total system failure.

Raynare simply tilted her head. "Master Issei?" she asked, voice low and smooth. "You're overheating. Perhaps you should sit before you faint."

"Y-Yeah," he managed weakly, his voice cracking. "Overheating… that's definitely it."

She then got closer and started taking off clothes. One by one a piece of clothing was taken off. The moment his boxers were finally gone, he was left completely naked like her. Though he might be mistaken, he felt like Raynare stared below him more than necessary and then he thought he saw her lick her lips but that might be an illusion.

It was while both were naked, that Raynare then took him to the shower area with a bar of soap and sponge already next to the shower head.

Issei then sat on the small wooden stool by the shower basin, his mind still struggling to process how quickly everything spiraled out of control. Now the hot water cascaded down his shoulders, easing the ache from Evangeline's training but doing nothing to slow his racing heart.

Raynare knelt beside him, her tone gentle yet firm as she wrung out a soaked towel. "You've trained far beyond what your body is used to, Master. It's only natural to be sore."

"Y-Yeah… guess so," He mumbled, trying not to make eye contact but then felt her Oppai pressed to his back every time she moved. The warmth of the water and the closeness of her presence left his thoughts tangled.

She worked quietly, making sure every trace of dust and sweat was gone. Her motions were measured, professional, even reverent—as if tending to him were a sacred task.

Then, unexpectedly, she spoke with a small, approving hum. "You've changed more than you realize. Your body has gotten harder and stronger. You really have been working hard."

Her words, so simple and sincere, broke through his flustered silence. The compliment wasn't teasing or seductive—it was genuine. And for the first time that night, he managed to breathe normally.

Still, another thought lingered at the edge of his mind. He hesitated before asking, his voice quiet beneath the hiss of the water. "Raynare… are you happy?"

She paused, the sponge in her hand stilled. "Happy?"

"Yeah," He said, turning slightly toward her. "Since everything happened—the brainwashing, becoming our servant, joining us. Are you… okay with this? Or are you just pretending? The girl who tried to kill us back then… is she still there somewhere?"

For a long moment, she didn't answer. The water kept running, steam rising between them. Finally, she drew in a slow breath and shook her head.

"The old me…" Her voice softened, a trace of pain hidden beneath her calm. "She was cruel. Vicious. Arrogant. I thought I was powerful, but I was just lost. I had no purpose—only pride and anger. That Raynare would have laughed at the idea of serving anyone, even someone who showed her kindness."

She dipped the cloth back into the basin and continued, quieter now. "Sometimes I wonder what she would think if she saw me now. But the truth is, this life has given me more than she ever had. I have my pure white wings back. I have a home. And…" she hesitated, looking at him with a small, earnest smile, "I have you, Master Issei."

Issei blinked, stunned. The sincerity in her tone made his chest tighten. "Raynare…"

"I know the others don't trust me," she went on. "Most of them probably never will. But I've learned something important here: if something ever happened to me, you'd care. That's more than the old me ever had."

Before he could reply, she stepped closer and wrapped her arms around him. It wasn't flirtatious—it was gentle, grateful, the kind of hug that spoke of quiet redemption. Her voice trembled slightly against his shoulder.

"Thank you… for giving me a place in your world."

For once, Issei didn't know what to say. His face burned, but his heart felt strangely light. Slowly, awkwardly, he returned the embrace. "Yeah," he said softly, "you deserve that much."

The warmth between Issei and Raynare lasted only a few heartbeats before the sound of the door sliding open shattered the quiet, revealing a naked Karura.

"Husband! I'm here to help you wash your back—and to begin the process of making babies!"

"W-WHAT?!"

The shout echoed off the stone walls just as Karura marched through the steam, towel draped over her shoulders, her usual confidence radiating like a lightning bolt about to strike. Her golden black eyes locked instantly onto the sight before her: Issei frozen mid-hug and Raynare standing close beside him, both blinking in alarm.

The air in the bathhouse suddenly felt ten degrees hotter.

Karura's expression darkened. "...Explain."

Raynare's composure didn't waver, though a tiny twitch betrayed her irritation. "Nothing improper, I assure you. I was only washing the master's back. It's my duty as his maid."

Karura crossed her arms under her breasts. "Then your duty ends here. I will handle it."

Before Issei could stop her, she was already at his side, taking the towel from Raynare's hands with the precision of a seasoned warrior. "You may rest. I'll take care of him."

Raynare's eyes narrowed. "Two hands work better than one. We can both attend to him."

"That won't be necessary," Karura said firmly, a dangerous spark in her tone.

Issei sat very still, unsure whether moving would save or doom him. 'Why does this always happen to me?'

The tension between the two women thickened until the door slammed open again.

"DARLING!"

From the far side of the onsen, the door flew open, steam swirling as Nyaruko burst in with all the energy of a comet. Behind her came Priscilla and Run, whose face was red for more than just the heat.

Each of them wore a towel wrapped neatly around themselves as they entered the bath.

Run's eye twitched. "You two weren't supposed to follow me!"

Nyaruko pointed accusingly at her. "Oh please! You were sneaking around in just a towel. Of course we followed you!"

Priscilla crossed her arms, her towel perfectly in place. "You looked suspicious, Run. Now it's clear why. You were coming here to bathe with Issei."

Run groaned, muttering under her breath. "I only wanted to talk with him…"

The three of them finally looked, saw where Issei was and froze.

There, through the soft haze of steam, stood a naked Issei. Behind him were Raynare and Karura, both poised on either side, glaring daggers at each other.

Raynare had one hand on Issei's shoulder, the other still holding a wash towel with professional calm. Karura's golden eyes blazed with challenge as she hovered close, her usual confident smirk replaced by something far sharper.

The three new arrivals stopped dead. Their expressions said everything, specifically Nyaruko and Run who were unhappy.

Issei threw up his hands, panic rising in his voice. "It's not what it looks like!"

"That's exactly what people say when it is what it looks like!" Nyaruko shouted dramatically, pointing at him like an overzealous prosecutor.

Raynare's composure returned instantly. Folding her arms across her bare chest, she said coolly, "If you must know, I was simply performing my duties. Karura decided to… assist."

Karura crossed her own arms, her tone flat and dangerous. "I'm not assisting. I'm telling you to leave and to leave it to me."

Raynare's smile tightened. "How diligent of you. Unfortunately, I was already in the process of handling it."

Nyaruko slammed her hands down on her hips. "Excuse me! If anyone's going to wash Darling's back, it's me!"

Run's competitive streak flared. "Not happening. It's going to be me."

Priscilla, standing just behind them, rubbed her temple and sighed. "Honestly, must we fight over this? The water's going to cool before anyone actually uses it."

Karura huffed. "Then get in line or get out. I was here first."

Raynare matched her tone with quiet precision. "No, you interrupted first."

"Can we please not start?!" Issei cried, waving his arms frantically. "I really just wanted a normal relaxing bath!"

All five women paused, eyes locking on him. The tension in the room shifted—still charged, but now threaded with mischief.

Issei swallowed hard. "…Uh oh."

Nyaruko's grin returned, wicked and playful. "Fine then, Darling! Let's make it fun! Everyone in! Last one owes the others dessert!"

"Wait, what—NO—" But it was already too late.

The sound of towels hitting the floor was quickly drowned out by a chorus of splashes and laughter.

Nyaruko leapt into the steaming water first, sending waves across the pool. Run and Priscilla dove in right after her, each determined not to be last.

Karura muttered something about "reckless idiots" before stepping into the bath with a spark of static following her, while Raynare entered more gracefully—though her quiet dignity lasted all of three seconds before Nyaruko sent a playful splash her way.

The onsen dissolved into joyful chaos: laughter echoing off the stone walls, water sloshing, and voices overlapping in mock arguments.

Nyaruko and Karura were already at it again, bickering about who would be Issei's "number one," while Run scolded them for their lack of manners and then said that she will be his true wife. Priscilla, as always, tried to mediate, and even Raynare finally sighed, rolled her eyes, and joined in by flicking water back at Nyaruko.

Issei could only stare at the scene for a moment, caught between disbelief and amusement. Then a slow smile crept across his face. "Alright, alright," he muttered, stepping into the steaming pool. "If you can't beat 'em…"

The girls cheered as he joined them, and before long he was splashing back, laughing despite himself as the noise and warmth filled every corner of the room. While at the same time enjoying the sight of the girls' naked bodies as he continued to receive a marvelous sight of the girls' bare oppai.

Night settled softly over the castle. The corridors glowed faintly from lanterns Evageline had strung along the walls, their light diffused through threads of her magic. The once-bustling halls were now quiet except for the sound of slippers padding over polished floors.

Everyone had changed into the new pajamas Shiraori had made—matching soft fabrics of white and gold, comfortable enough that even Kaguya had admitted, with a sniff, that they were "acceptable."

She hesitated, glancing away before speaking. "About that… 'school' you mentioned earlier. The one you asked the others to join."

Issei blinked. "Yeah? You said you weren't really interested, remember?"

"I know." She shifted on her feet, uncharacteristically shy. "But… would you want me to go?"

The question caught him off guard. For once, Karura's voice carried none of her usual sharpness; it was quiet, almost uncertain.

Issei smiled. "Of course I would. I'd be happy if you went. It'd mean we could spend more time together, and… honestly, I just want everyone to enjoy themselves. I don't know anything about all of your pasts. But I feel you all deserve to relax and have a little fun."

Karura studied him for a moment, then let out a small huff that might have been a laugh. "You really are hopelessly sentimental."

"Maybe," He admitted, rubbing his cheek sheepishly. "But I mean it."

Her expression softened. "Fine then. I'll go. If those two loudmouths—Nyaruko and Run—are right about 'school romance,' maybe it'll be worth seeing what that's like."

Issei blinked. "You mean it?"

She gave a small nod. "Don't overthink it, husband. Consider it… curiosity." Before he could reply, she turned and headed toward her room, her voice echoing faintly over her shoulder. "Goodnight, Issei."

"Night, Karura," he said, smiling after her. 'Guess that's one more name on the list,' He thought.

He continued down the hall, counting doors until he reached what he thought was his room. Still distracted by his thoughts, he pushed it open—and froze.

The room beyond was massive. Priscilla, who was resting comfortably in her larger, draconic form on her much larger bed. Her tail curled lazily around her as her eyes, calm and luminous—opened to regard him.

"Oh?" She said, a teasing smile curling across her lips. "Issei. What brings you here?"

Issei's face went red instantly in embarrassment. "S-Sorry! I must've taken a wrong turn! I thought this was—uh—my room!"

Priscilla chuckled, the sound low and warm. "No harm done. You must be tired"

He rubbed the back of his neck, laughing nervously. "Yeah… I just wanted to crash before something else happened."

She tilted her head thoughtfully, the tip of her tail twitching. "You could stay here, if you wish. I don't mind the company."

"Eh?!"

Her smile widened. "There's plenty of room. You can rest without worry. It would be just like in the morning."

The invitation sounded so nice that it took a moment for Issei's brain to catch up. Then he grinned sheepishly. "Well… if you're sure. I mean, who could say no to that kind of protection?"

"Then it's settled," she said, settling back onto her bed of silk.

Issei climbed onto bed but was then grabbed by Priscilla and then hugged tightly, placing his head next to her massive oppai. Issei quickly made a perverted smile and hugged her back.

As he drifted toward sleep, Issei couldn't help but think how strange—and wonderful—his life had become.

The castle had fallen into a comfortable silence. Only the soft hum of magic lights and the faint rustle of curtains filled the air. Most of the residents were already asleep, resting after the long day of training and laughter.

But not everyone rested. Soft footsteps echoed down one of the long hallways.

Nyaruko tiptoed forward, her silver hair bobbing with each step, her grin mischievous. "Hehe… tonight's the night! Perfect time to sneak in a little late-night visit to Darling."

Her eyes sparkled as she imagined her plan, slip in, see him sleeping, maybe cuddle next to him for a bit—no harm done. Or so she told herself.

But as she rounded the corner leading to Issei's room, another figure came into view. Long green hair glimmered faintly in the moonlight. The moment both saw each other, they quickly glared at the other the moment their paths crossed.

"You!" Nyaruko hissed. "What are you doing sneaking around at this hour?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Run shot back, folding her arms. "You're acting suspicious."

Nyaruko's silver eyes narrowed. "Don't tell me—you were heading to Darling's room too?"

Run's cheeks flushed. "I just wanted to check on him! He might be having nightmares and I being the considerate girlfriend, want to help him."

"Ha! A likely excuse." Nyaruko glared.

They glared in silence for three seconds before both suddenly realized the same thing—and bolted.

"First one there wins!" Nyaruko shouted, sprinting down the hallway.

Before Run could react, Nyaruko bolted down the hall, her feet almost silent against the polished floor.

"Hey!" Run shouted, chasing after her. The two tore through the quiet corridors in a ridiculous midnight race, dodging corners and trying not to wake the others. "No way I'm losing to you!" Run yelled back, her speed matching hers stride for stride.

The race tore through the quiet castle like a storm, both girls' bare feet pattering against the floor. Nyaruko reached the door first, skidding to a stop in triumph. "Ha! Victory is mine!" She flung open the door, stepped in, and froze.

The room was empty, and the bed untouched.

"Huh?" She blinked, scanning the bed, the corners, even under the desk. "Darling?"

Run stumbled in right behind her, panting lightly. "Where is he? You didn't hide him, did you?"

Nyaruko scowled. "Why would I hide him? He's gone!"

They looked at each other again, their rivalry momentarily forgotten as confusion replaced jealousy. "Okay," Run said, lowering her voice. "We can't wake everyone. Let's check the other rooms quietly."

Nyaruko nodded. "Fine. But if I find him first, he's mine tonight."

"In your dreams."

The two crept through the hallways like conspirators, opening doors one by one. They peeked into Henrietta's room—she was curled up with a blanket, breathing softly. Karura's room was quiet as she was sleeping peacefully, best not to disturb her. Yukina's room was cold but peaceful, faint snowflakes drifting from her breath. Furina's room looked peaceful as she was asleep in the middle of it, completely undisturbed.

"Still nothing," Nyaruko whispered. "Where could he—"

A faint glow at the end of the corridor drew their attention. A small orb of light drifted lazily, and from around the corner stepped Lala. Her detached head carried by her hands.

"Lala!" both girls whispered, hurrying over.

"Hello." Lala said gloomily, both her head and body turning toward them in perfect unison. "Why are you two sneaking around?"

"We're looking for Issei!" Nyaruko said quickly. "You haven't seen him, have you?"

Lala tilted her head. "I did. He went into Priscilla's room a while ago. He hasn't come out."

"...Priscilla's room?" Both girls repeated in unison.

Lala nodded innocently. "Yes. He looked very tired though. He must be resting there."

Nyaruko's eye twitched. "Resting, huh?"

Without another word, both girls took off down the hall again, ignoring Lala's curious, "Goodnight?" as they disappeared around the corner.

When they reached the door to Priscilla's chamber. They hesitated only a moment before Nyaruko slowly pushed the door open.

The sight that greeted them made both stop in their tracks.

Inside the vast chamber, Priscilla was asleep in her true size, her breathing deep and steady. And lying peacefully against her chest, resting atop the curve of her arm, was Issei—fast asleep, completely content. He was sprawled comfortably, using her as though she were a giant pillow.

Nyaruko's mouth opened slightly. "He's… sleeping on her…"

The peaceful sight only made Nyaruko's jealousy grow. "That's not fair! She already gets to be huge and soft and majestic! I want to sleep there too!"

"Keep your voice down!" Run hissed, but her cheeks were pink. "You'll wake them."

Too late. Priscilla's tail twitched faintly, but she didn't wake. Issei let out a soft sigh in his sleep, mumbling something that sounded suspiciously like, "So warm…"

Both girls froze again. Then, as if sharing the same idea, they looked at each other.

"…We're doing this, aren't we?" Nyaruko whispered.

"…Yes," Run muttered back, resigning herself.

Quietly, they tiptoed forward, careful not to disturb Priscilla's tail. The air around her was pleasantly warm. Nyaruko climbed up first, settling near Issei's left side. Run sighed and followed, resting on his right.

Issei didn't stir. The moment both girls lay down beside him, the warmth and rhythmic breathing of the dragoness lulled them, too.

Nyaruko whispered, "Next time, I'm going to take Issei to my room earlier."

"Next time," Run murmured sleepily, "I'm finding a way to lock everyone out."

Within minutes, the two of them drifted off as well. Issei resting between the three girls, peaceful smiles softening every face.

The air was warm and quiet as Issei stirred as his internal clock told him to get up as today was a school day.

At first, he only registered warmth—soft, steady, and all-encompassing. It felt as though he were wrapped in a blanket that breathed. His body was completely relaxed, his head resting on something that felt far too comfortable to be a pillow. For a blissful moment, he thought, 'Wow… sleeping on Priscilla is really comfortable and amazing.'

Meanwhile the dragoness was still asleep, her massive tail coiled near the far end of the chamber. Her breathing was deep and steady, the rise and fall of her chest gentle enough to rock him slightly where he rested.

Issei smiled a little. But then he felt something else. But two soft items were pressed against his arm. He turned his head—and froze.

To his left, Nyaruko was curled up beside him, her silver hair draped over his shoulder like a silken blanket. Her expression was peaceful for once, her usual manic grin replaced by a small, content smile. One hand clutched his arm possessively, as if daring anyone to take it away.

"Wha—Nyaruko?!"

His voice came out as a whisper, half panic and half disbelief. He turned his head the other way—and found Run, also asleep, resting her cheek lightly against his other arm. Her breathing was slow, her face calm and serene. Even in sleep, she looked faintly smug, as if proud of having claimed her spot.

Issei's mind went blank. "...When did this happen?" he muttered helplessly.

His head glanced up toward Priscilla, who was still fast asleep, her soft snores rumbling faintly like a purring dragon. Carefully, he tried to shift one arm free—but Nyaruko immediately tightened her grip, mumbling, "Mine…" under her breath and pulling him closer.

"...Okay, that was useless." Issei muttered.

He turned slightly toward Run, hoping she'd be easier to move—but she simply sighed and nuzzled his shoulder, murmuring something too quiet to catch. Her hold wasn't as strong, but the sight of her peaceful expression made him hesitate.

He exhaled slowly, resigning himself. "Guess I'm staying like this for a while."

The minutes passed quietly. The warmth of the morning, the soft light, and the steady breathing of three people surrounding him created a strangely comforting peace.

Eventually, Priscilla stirred. The giant dragoness shifted slightly, opening one luminous eye. Her calm voice filled the room. "You're awake, Issei."

He froze. "P-Priscilla! Morning!"

Her golden eye blinked once, then turned toward the sleeping forms draped over him. "Looks like we had visitors last night."

"I swear I have no idea how this happened," Issei said quickly. "One moment I'm asleep, the next I've got two clingy aliens using me as a pillow!"

Priscilla's lips curved faintly into a small, knowing smile. "Hmm. You attract them easily. That much is clear."

"That's not helping…" he muttered.

She chuckled softly, the sound deep and melodic. "Relax, Issei. They mean no harm. Let them sleep a little longer."

He sighed and leaned back against her warmth. "Yeah, I guess so."

There was a brief silence—just the sound of breathing. Then, Nyaruko mumbled something in her sleep, snuggling closer. "Darling… my turn…"

Run frowned slightly, as if sensing competition even in her dreams, and shifted to clutch Issei's other arm tighter.

Priscilla raised a brow. "They're very… enthusiastic."

"Don't remind me," Issei said weakly. Issei was just about to begin to drift back into half-sleep when he felt something shift beside him.

At first it was small—just the faint stir of movement and a sleepy sigh—but then came the unmistakable sound of a yawn right next to his ear.

"Mmhh… good morning, Darling~" Nyaruko mumbled, stretching lazily. Her eyes fluttered open, and the moment she realized where she was, that sleepy smile turned into pure delight.

Issei, noticing that she was now awake, asked the question that had been bothering him the moment he woke up. "Nyaruko, why are you and Run here?"

"Eh? Oh! Oh-ho-ho! I was planning to crawl into your bed and join you! But then I saw that you weren't in your room and decided to look for you. Imagine my surprise to find you sleeping with Priscilla."

"Yeah I came here by accident. I was about to go to my room but Priscilla told me that it was okay to sleep here with her. I obviously wasn't going to reject a chance to sleep and feel her Oppai again. They are really soft." Issei answered with a smile.

"Maooh! I dislike that you really like big breasts and will go out of your way to be near them." Nyaruko says with a pout.

"Sorry, can't resist."

But then on his other side, Run blinked awake, yawning softly. Her green hair fell across her shoulder as she rubbed her eyes. "Mmm… morning already? Huh?"

She then saw that her boyfriend was awake and began to cuddle next to him. "Good morning, Issei."

"Good morning. Were you also trying to find me?" Issei questioned, happy to feel her soft body that was currently being rubbed against him.

"Yeah, it's not fair that you decided to sleep with Priscilla and not me." Run said a childish voice.

"Sorry it just happened."

Priscilla stirred awake with a low hum, golden eyes half-lidded as she took in the scene. "You three are rather noisy for dawn."

"Sorry the two just woke up." Issei apologized.

Priscilla gave a faint, amused chuckle. "I see. Then I guess we should get up and see what the morning brings."

Issei agreed as he finally sat up, slipping free from both of them. "Alright! Everyone up, we've got a long day ahead of us!"

Nyaruko pouted. "You're no fun, Darling."

Run brushed her hair back with practiced grace. "He's right. We should get ready."

Priscilla stretched, and then with a bit of magic, she shifted back into her small human form. Her calm voice carried a hint of amusement. "Hopefully someone prepared breakfast for us."

By the time they reached the dining hall, the scent of food had already filled the air.

The long wooden table gleamed as at the far end stood Raynare and Kalawarna, both dressed neatly in their maid uniforms, setting down the last of the dishes. Henrietta, Shiraori, Karura, Furina, Kaguya, Evangeline, Lala and Yukina were already sitting down eating their portions.

Steam rose from freshly cooked rice, grilled fish, and bowls of miso soup—an unexpectedly traditional spread that made even Kaguya raise an eyebrow in surprise.

Raynare gave a polite bow as everyone filed in. "Good morning, Master Issei. Breakfast is served."

Kalawarna added, "Please, eat before it gets cold."

Issei smiled. "Wow, this looks amazing! Thanks, both of you."

The group that had just arrived began to take their seats, the lively chatter filling the room almost instantly. Nyaruko was already halfway through her rice before Issei even sat down. Run calmly poured tea for herself and Issei, while Priscilla sat gracefully, her every movement poised.

Evangeline, seated beside Kaguya, simply sipped her tea with quiet pride. "You two are really learning how to be useful. As the aroma is impressive."

Raynare's expression brightened faintly at the compliment. "Thank you, Lady Evangeline."

Issei took a bite of the grilled fish and let out a sigh of relief. "Ahh… this hits the spot."

Then he glanced around at the table. "By the way, I should tell everyone now—after breakfast, I'm heading to school to talk with Sona about the girls who'll be enrolling."

The conversation paused.

"You're meeting her again already?" Kaguya asked, her tone low and faintly displeased. "That devil girl certainly makes my day turn sour. Acting as if she could order us around."

Issei laughed awkwardly. "It's not like that. If we want anyone to officially attend, I have to coordinate with her."

"Hmph." Kaguya looked away, crossing her arms. "Still, it's irritating that a devil holds authority here. I'd rather we didn't owe her anything."

"I know," Issei said, smiling gently. "But it's fine, really. We'll manage. She's not that bad when you get used to her."

Evangeline smirked. "That's debatable."

The rest of the girls listened with varying levels of interest. Nyaruko and Run exchanged excited glances—both eager for their "school romance" experience to finally begin—while Henrietta and Yukina quietly sipped their tea, curious but calm. Karura, sitting near the end of the table, simply nodded when Issei caught her eye, giving a faint smile that said she hadn't forgotten their talk the night before.

Once breakfast ended, Raynare stepped forward again, collecting plates with Kalawarna. "We'll keep everything tidy while you're out, Master Issei."

"Thanks, Raynare," he said warmly. "You two really help a lot around here."

Her expression softened. "It's our duty."

As everyone stood to begin their day, Issei stretched his arms and looked around at the lively group. "Alright, everyone. I'll head to school now, talk to Sona, and get the paperwork started. When I get back, I'll have some news."

Nyaruko leaned forward eagerly. "Ooh, will we get uniforms?"

Run smiled. "Probably. That could be fun."

Furina sighed dramatically, resting her cheek on her hand. "Ugh, school. I can already feel the tedium setting in."

"Think of it as a performance," Priscilla said with a teasing grin.

Issei chuckled. "I'll let you know what Sona says. And later… I was thinking we could all visit my parents' place. I want you guys to meet them."

That earned an immediate wave of reactions.

"Your parents?!" Run gasped. "Ohhh, I have to make a good impression!"

Henrietta's eyes lit up with curiosity. "I'd like that. It would be nice to see where you come from."

Even Lala and Shiraori exchanged intrigued looks.

"Yup," Issei said, rubbing his head sheepishly. "They'll probably be shocked… but it's time they met everyone." Issei then left to prepare his uniform and headed out to start his day.

The familiar sight of Kuoh Academy's gates loomed ahead under the clear morning sky. Many female students filed in, chatting and laughing, the air filled with that usual Monday energy of half-dread, half-routine.

For Issei, though, the normalcy felt almost alien.

He stood at the entrance for a moment, just staring at the school. The early sunlight warmed his face, but his thoughts were elsewhere—still tangled in the whirlwind that had been his weekend. 'Man… has it really only been two days?'

"Yo! Issei!"

The call snapped him back to reality. Two familiar figures approached, waving enthusiastically. Motohama adjusted his glasses with that smug grin of his, and Matsuda gave a thumbs-up that could have blinded small children.

"There you are, man!" Matsuda said, clapping him on the shoulder. "We were starting to think you died or something! You've been way too quiet since Friday!"

Motohama nodded. "Yeah. So, how was your weekend, huh? You went on a date, didn't you? With that silver-haired girl! Spill it, dude. Details. Now."

Issei blinked, his brain stalling for a moment. Oh right…my date with Nyaruko. That was supposed to be simple.

Then his thoughts spiraled—Raynare's ambush, the summoning of Priscilla, the Fallen Angels' nighttime assault, the creation of their hidden castle, the arrival of new summons, the battle with Karura, the onsen chaos, and finally the meeting with Sona Sitri herself.

He stared at his friends blankly. "...You could say it was an intense weekend."

Matsuda tilted his head. "Intense how? Like, 'date went really well' intense, or—"

Motohama interrupted, adjusting his glasses again with mock seriousness. "Or like, 'your date turned miserable and she broke up with you' intense?"

Issei rubbed the back of his neck, sighing. "Let's just say… a lot happened. More than I can explain right now."

The two perverts exchanged looks of disappointment.

Matsuda groaned dramatically. "C'mon, man! That's not fair! We shared our stories!"

"You got kicked out of the pool for peeking at girls once." Issei deadpanned.

"That's still a story!"

Issei chuckled. "Yeah, I'll bet." Then his expression softened as he looked toward the main building. "Anyway, I've got to talk with Souna-kaichō before class starts. It's kind of important."

The mention of her name made both his friends freeze.

"Souna Shitori? The student council president?" Motohama asked, lowering his glasses slightly as if to confirm he'd heard correctly.

Matsuda whistled. "Dude, what did you do? You know she doesn't just 'talk' to people. She interrogates them."

Issei gave a nervous laugh. "Yeah, I've… noticed."

Motohama shook his head. "Good luck, man. She's super intense. Like, scary-intense."

"Yeah, try not to make her mad," Matsuda added. "We don't wanna find your name on a disciplinary list."

Issei waved them off with a grin. "Relax, I'll be fine. It's just… school stuff."

As he walked past the gates, he could still hear them whispering behind him.

"Think he's in trouble?" Matsuda asked.

"Knowing Issei? Definitely," Motohama replied.

He smiled faintly at that, not bothering to correct them. 'If only you two knew.'

Crossing the courtyard, he passed clusters of students chatting before class, their laughter and casual energy almost surreal compared to what he'd been dealing with. The peaceful normalcy of Kuoh felt worlds away from his current reality waiting for him at home.

He exhaled slowly. "Alright, time to get this over with."

The quiet hum of the air conditioning filled the Student Council Office as Issei stood outside the door, his hand hovering just short of the handle.

He took a slow breath, steadying himself. 'Alright, Issei. Just be respectful, keep it simple, and don't say anything stupid.'

"Come in," came Sona's composed voice from within.

He pushed the door open and stepped inside.

The room was immaculate as always—organized shelves, neat desks, and a faint scent of polished wood. The morning light streamed through the blinds, falling across the polished surface of Sona's desk. Behind it sat the president herself, her posture perfect, glasses gleaming as she looked up from a stack of documents. Standing beside her, ever-poised, was Tsubaki Shinra, her expression calm and unreadable.

"Hyoudou-san," Sona greeted, setting her pen aside. "You're earlier than expected."

Issei rubbed the back of his neck and offered a small smile. "Yeah, I figured I shouldn't keep you waiting. I've got the list of the girls who'll be enrolling."

Her violet eyes sharpened slightly with interest. "I see. Let's hear it."

He cleared his throat. "The ones joining are Nyaruko, Run Elsie Jewelria, Henrietta de Tristan, Yukina, and Karura Kure."

Tsubaki's pen moved swiftly across the notepad in her hand, writing down each name with quiet precision. Sona adjusted her glasses, repeating them softly under her breath as though committing them to memory.

"I'll have the proper paperwork drafted for these five," she said finally. "However, as I mentioned before, I will allow them entry under certain… conditions."

Issei blinked. "Conditions?"

Sona leaned back slightly in her chair, folding her hands together. "Let's call them favors. In exchange for my assistance, I expect your cooperation in certain matters when I call upon you."

Issei exhaled quietly. 'Of course she'd say that.'

"As long as it's nothing excessive," he said with a wry smile, "I'll gladly help however I can."

Her lips curved just faintly—half amusement, half approval. "Good. I appreciate your willingness."

She made a note on her paper, then looked back up at him. "Though… two of these names concern me. The girl called Nyaruko, and this Yukina. They appear to lack surnames. That will be an issue for the official records."

"Oh, right," Issei said, scratching his cheek awkwardly. "That's, uh… kind of hard to explain. They're not exactly from around here. Maybe just… use my last name for them?"

Sona raised an eyebrow. "Your last name?"

"Yeah. Hyoudou Nyaruko and Hyoudou Yukina. It'll make things simpler, right?"

Her gaze lingered on him for a moment, as if weighing the significance of that choice. Then she nodded. "Very well. I'll register them under your family name. But be aware—people may make assumptions."

Issei laughed nervously. "Yeah, that's nothing new."

Tsubaki's neutral tone cut in smoothly. "It will take several days to process the necessary documents. Expect everything to be finalized by next week."

Sona leaned forward again, her tone measured. "In the meantime, I expect them to behave accordingly. No incidents, no disturbances, and absolutely no exposure of the supernatural to the general student body. I trust that's clear?"

"Crystal," Issei said immediately. "Don't worry, I'll keep them under control."

"I do hope so," Sona replied, adjusting her glasses again. "From what little I've seen of them, that may be a challenge."

Issei chuckled weakly. "You're… not wrong."

The faintest sigh escaped her. "Very well. The arrangements will be handled on my end. And as for the first favor I mentioned…"—her eyes glinted slightly—"I'll let you know when the time comes."

He had the distinct feeling that whatever she had planned, it would not be something simple. But for now, he just smiled and nodded. "Got it. Thanks, Kaichō. I really appreciate it."

Sona inclined her head politely. "You're welcome, Hyoudou-san. Try not to cause any… headaches before then."

"I'll do my best," he said, scratching his cheek as he turned for the door. "Have a nice day, Kaichō."

"You as well," she replied, already returning to her paperwork.

As Issei stepped back into the hallway, he exhaled deeply. The tension left his shoulders at last. Still, he couldn't help but grin. Things were moving forward—the girls were officially joining Kuoh, and for once, everything felt… almost normal.

In the wide main hall, a group of women sat gathered around a long table. A lively mix of personalities filled the room—voices overlapping, laughter ringing against the high ceilings.

Henrietta sipped her tea gracefully, looking thoughtful. "I must say, this world is… stranger than mine. But Issei Hyoudou, he seems to hold a peculiar charm over all of you."

"Oh, you have no idea," Nyaruko said dramatically, waving her spoon for emphasis. "Darling's a magnet for chaos. He attracts danger, divine beings, eldritch horrors—and somehow survives it all with that goofy grin."

Run giggled, twirling a strand of her long green hair. "He sounds like a handful. Still… I can see why everyone's drawn to him. He's kind, and he doesn't treat us like we're… well, trophies."

"True," Priscilla added softly. "He listens to us and does care."

Lala, seated beside them, nodded her detached head, while resting on the table while her body poured tea. "He's polite."

Across the room, Furina sat with her arms folded, looking half-bored, half-amused. "Hmph. For someone who claims to be ordinary, he certainly gathers quite the entourage. It's practically theatrical."

Karura smirked faintly. "I prefer to call it instinct. Power attracts power. And if he's strong enough to handle me, then he's worth following."

Henrietta blinked. "You mean… handle you in battle, correct?"

Karura's smile widened. "Among other things."

That earned a groan from Evangeline. "I swear, you're all incorrigible."

Kaguya, ever poised, simply adjusted her sleeve and sipped her tea in silence. "Well, he does possess a certain charm," she admitted grudgingly. "Though I would appreciate it if he stopped attracting trouble."

Off in the corner, Shiraori sat surrounded by shimmering silk threads that floated through the air. Her pale fingers moved with precise grace, weaving cloth that shimmered faintly with magic. She didn't join the conversation, but her many-eyed focus never wavered as she listened quietly to every word. 'These uniforms will be ready by tomorrow.' She thought to herself.

Meanwhile, the steady rhythm of broom strokes and faint humming came from down the hall, where Raynare and Kalawarna worked side by side. The former Fallen Angels had slipped easily into their roles as the household's caretakers, their movements coordinated, almost serene.

Knock, knock

Kalawarna glanced toward the main entrance as a soft knock echoed through the hall. "Hmm? Visitors, here of all places?"

Raynare frowned slightly, exchanging a glance with her companion. "That's odd. Master isn't back yet."

Setting down her cleaning cloth, she walked toward the door, wings flickering faintly beneath her uniform before fading again. Kalawarna followed, cautious but curious.

The knocking came again—gentle, hesitant.

Raynare unlatched the door and opened it just enough to peer outside.

Standing there was a young girl no older than sixteen. She had light blonde hair cut in a short bob, bright green eyes full of innocence, and wore a modest green nun's habit that seemed a bit too large for her small frame. In her hands she clutched a small satchel, and her expression was both nervous and hopeful.

"Um… e-excuse me," the girl said softly. "Is this the church of Kuoh Town?"

Raynare's eyes widened instantly. The face—it was impossible to forget.

Kalawarna felt the realization hit at the same time. She tensed. "Asia Argento."

The girl blinked. "Y-Yes… that's me."

Raynare's memories surfaced like ghosts—their mission, their betrayal of orders, the plan to steal her Sacred Gear.

For a heartbeat, neither ex-Fallen Angel spoke. The air felt heavier, the warmth of the home dimming under the weight of old sins.

Asia shifted nervously. "Um… I was told this place might be safe. I… I didn't know where else to go."

Kalawarna's expression softened despite herself. The young girl's eyes were genuine—trusting, kind. The same innocence that had made her such an easy target once before.

Raynare's throat felt dry. "You're…finally here?"

Asia nodded timidly. "Yes. I was excommunicated from my church, and… I heard rumors that someone here helps people like me and would allow me to stay."

Raynare and Kalawarna exchanged a long, silent glance. The irony wasn't lost on either of them. Once, they had been the threat she'd needed protection from. Now, she stood before them again—unarmed, unguarded, asking for safety.

Kalawarna spoke first, her voice calm but uncertain. "Our master—Issei Hyoudou—he… oversees this place now."

Asia tilted her head. "Master?"

Raynare swallowed hard, forcing a small, polite smile. "Yes. You'll meet him soon. He… he wouldn't want you standing outside."

She stepped back, motioning gently. "Please, come in."

Asia hesitated, but the warmth in Raynare's tone won her over. She stepped through the doorway, clutching her satchel close.

As the door closed behind her, Kalawarna leaned in, whispering under her breath, "What do we do? Should we tell the others about what we planned before? And do we reveal to this girl her actual purpose?"

Raynare's expression was unreadable, her eyes fixed on the young girl now gazing in awe at the grand hall. "We don't have to," she said quietly. "That Raynare—the one who wanted to hurt her—doesn't exist anymore. But we should tell the master and mistresses."

Kalawarna frowned slightly, then nodded. "Still… The master should decide what happens next."

Raynare nodded, her tone soft but firm. "Yes. But until then, she's under our protection."

The two former Fallen shared a brief look—something between guilt, understanding, and newfound resolve—before turning back toward Asia, who was now staring at the massive silken tapestry Shiraori had hung above the altar.

"This place is beautiful," Asia said softly. "And much bigger on the inside."

Raynare managed a genuine smile this time. "I'm glad you like it. This home will be where you will be working hard, from now on."

The afternoon sunlight streamed gently through the towering stained-glass windows, painting soft mosaics across the polished floors. The halls were quiet, most of the household either training, resting, or working—but in the vast castle kitchen, a very different sort of energy simmered.

Raynare and Kalawarna moved with practiced efficiency, sleeves rolled up, as they chopped vegetables, stirred pots, and organized cookware. And standing between the two Fallen Angels was a small, nervous blonde girl in a green nun's habit.

Asia Argento's eyes were wide, green and earnest, fluttering between awe and timid confusion. She clutched the hem of her sleeve anxiously but tried her best to look attentive.

Raynare pulled the wooden spoon from the boiling pot and pointed it at her like a baton.
"Alright, Asia. Since we, uh… smuggled you in successfully without being detected by anyone…" She coughed into her fist. "We're going to go over your new duties."

Kalawarna nodded primly, hands on her hips. "You'll be working as a maid. That means cleaning the halls, washing dishes, doing laundry, preparing meals, organizing rooms, dusting shelves—"

"And most importantly," Raynare added, eyes narrowing with faux-seriousness, "staying out of the way when the mistresses are arguing."

Asia blinked. "A… argument…?"

Both Fallen Angels shared a long, hollow stare of trauma. Back in the present, Raynare sniffed. "…It happens."

Kalawarna cleared her throat. "Anyway. Do you have any questions before we begin?"

Asia clasped her hands together, bowing slightly. "N-No, I understand. And… and thank you, Raynare-san… Kalawarna-san…" Her voice trembled with emotion. "For giving me a place to stay. I… I don't have anywhere else to go after being excommunicated. And I've never been a maid before but… I will work very hard. I promise." Her sincerity hit them like a punch to the chest.

For a moment, both Fallen Angels froze as memories rose unbidden. The plan…to steal Twilight Healing and then dispose of the girl afterward. And then how Evangeline rewrote them. Reforging their wills and making them… better.

Raynare looked away first, her jaw tightening. Kalawarna's eyes softened, guilt swirling under her calm expression.

"…Tch. You really know how to stab someone in the heart, don't you?" Raynare muttered.

Asia panicked. "Eh?! D-Did I do something wrong?!"

"No, no," Kalawarna said quickly, resting a gentle hand on the girl's head. "You're doing fine. Really."

Raynare exhaled slowly. "Listen, Asia… you don't need to be perfect. If you make mistakes, it's fine. That's why we're here—to teach you. And… eventually… we'll introduce you to the master and the mistresses."

Asia tilted her head, innocent confusion blooming on her face. "Master? Mistresses? I… I don't understand."

The Fallen Angels glanced at one another.

Raynare spoke first, leaning down slightly so she was eye-level with the former nun. "The old church is currently under new management and after remodeling, the place was turned into a castle that belongs to our master. His name is Issei Hyoudou."

Kalawarna continued, voice smooth. "And he has… several wives."

Asia's eyes widened into perfect circles, her face turning bright pink. "W-W-W-WIVES? M-Multiple?!"

Raynare crossed her arms. "Yup. And each one is… unique."

Kalawarna shuddered visibly. "Some more terrifying than others."

Asia swallowed nervously. "W-Will they… be okay with me being here?"

Raynare sighed. "Honestly? The kind ones will accept you immediately. The others… may require time."

A cold chill ran up both their spines. As they imagined what Lady Evangeline, Lady Karura and Lady Kaguya would do to the girl and then them for hiding her.

Raynare whispered, "I don't want to be flash-frozen for hiding you…"

Kalawarna whispered back, "Or electrocuted…"

Asia's hands fidgeted. "I didn't mean to cause trouble…"

Raynare immediately shook her head. "You didn't. This is our problem ad you're under our care now."

Kalawarna nodded firmly. "We'll protect you until Master Issei returns. Once he's here, we'll present you properly."

Asia smiled, a soft, relieved, grateful smile that made their guilt deepen. "Thank you… both of you."

Raynare rubbed her temple. "Stop being cute, please. It makes me feel worse."

Kalawarna clapped her hands. "Right! Let's start teaching you how to chop vegetables."

Asia nodded earnestly. "Y-Yes!"

Raynare passed her an apron. "We're cooking for fourteen people, so—"

A faint tap tap tap echoed behind them.

Raynare froze, Kalawarna froze and Asia blinked.

A presence, quiet and eerie filled the air. Both Fallen Angels felt a chill crawl down their spines. Slowly, very slowly, they turned around. And there she was, Shiraori.

Standing directly behind them, white hair cascading like snow, red eyes unblinking, expression unreadable. Her posture was relaxed…but her gaze produced pure intensity.

Raynare squeaked and Kalawarna dropped her spoon.

Asia gasped softly, unsure what she should do.

Shiraori leaned forward slightly. Her red eyes studied Asia from head to toe. 'Ehhh! She's new. Plus she's adorable.'

Raynare stammered, "L-L-Lady Shiraori! U-Um, good afternoon—"

Kalawarna bowed so fast she nearly head-butted the counter. "We weren't hiding anything! Well, we WERE, but not from you—"

Asia shivered. "…E-Excuse me… who… who is this…?"

Shiraori blinked once. Then twice. Then her gaze then slid to Raynare and Kalawarna as it demanded them to explain.

Both Fallen Angels screamed internally.

Raynare leaned toward Kalawarna. "We're so dead."

Kalawarna whispered back, "How did she know?" Hiding by a corner on the roof was a small white spider with red eyes.

Shiraori's head tilted slowly, like an owl analyzing prey.

Asia clutched her hands nervously.

Raynare inhaled sharply, placing herself in front of Asia as if shielding her from a predator. "O-Okay! Lady Shiraori! We can explain! Completely! Perfectly!"

Kalawarna nodded frantically. "We found her outside looking for a job! She looked harmless! And we thought—maybe—we should keep her safe until Master returns!"

"And also she would be a good maid," Raynare added weakly.

'A new maid? She'll need a cute dress?' Shiraori's eyes glowed faintly. For a moment, silence.

Raynare held her breath.

Kalawarna trembled.

Asia looked like she might faint.

Then Shiraori glanced at Asia again. Her head tilted.

Then she lifted a pale hand and gently patted Asia on the head.

Asia froze.

Raynare and Kalawarna froze.

Shiraori nodded once—decisively.

Asia blinked rapidly. "O… okay…?"

Shiraori simply walked past them and went to her room to start making Asia's uniform.

Raynare nearly collapsed. "I think I aged ten years—"

Kalawarna wiped sweat from her brow. "That could've gone so much worse—"

Asia smiled nervously. "…She's… um… very quiet."

Raynare exhaled. "Asia…welcome to the craziest household on Earth."

Kalawarna nodded solemnly, patting Asia's shoulder. "You'll fit right in."

The final bell rang through the halls of Kuoh Academy. Chairs scraped, bags rustled, and chatter filled the classroom as everyone began packing to head home or begin their club activities.

Issei slid his notebook into his bag, stretching his arms with a relieved sigh. 'Finally… time to get back and tell the girls the news. They must be bored waiting. And—oh crap, I hope they didn't burn the castle down.'

He'd barely taken two steps when two shadows blocked his path.

"Isseiiii~!!!"

Motohama and Matsuda appeared on either side of him like gremlins. Matsuda crossed his arms dramatically. "We, the gentlemen of culture, have decided something important."

Motohama pushed up his glasses, the lenses flashing ominously. "As brothers, it is our duty to guide you. To nurture you. To support you in the way only true men can."

"Uh…" Issei blinked. "Why does this sound like trouble?"

The two leaned in. "Let's go watch porn." they said in perfect unison.

Issei's soul left his body. "Absolutely not!" He waved his hands wildly. "I don't have time, I have to head home."

"HOME?!" Matsuda grabbed him by the shoulders as if betrayed. "Don't tell me… don't tell me you're ditching us for your GIRLFRIEND!"

Motohama jabbed a finger into Issei's chest. "Ever since that silver-haired girl showed up, you've changed! You've abandoned the brotherhood! You've become—" His voice trembled in outrage. "—a f-f-fucking normie!"

"Yeah!" Matsuda sniffed. "We lost you, man! You were supposed to be one of US!"

Issei sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "I swear it's not like that. I just really, REALLY have things to do. Important things."

Motohama squinted. "More important than porn?"

"Yes!"

Both boys gasped.

Matsuda staggered as if shot. "Issei… you've changed, man…"

Issei was about to walk around them—but then he paused. And an evil smirk crept across his lips. "…Besides," He said, leaning in conspiratorially, "both of you will never understand the glory and joy… the heavenly softness… the divine warmth… of actual oppai."

Silence.

Motohama and Matsuda's brains glitched. Then—

"YOU BASTARD!"

"YOU TRAITOR!"

"YOU DAMN LUCKY SON OF A—!!"

They began shaking him violently, tears streaming down their faces.

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH OPPAI BEFORE US!"

"WE WERE SUPPOSED TO ASCEND TOGETHER!"

Students passing by stared. A few sighed, used to this trio's antics. A few girls whispered and glared. A few boys muttered prayers of jealousy.

Issei finally pried them off and patted their backs. "I'll hang out with you guys next time, okay? Promise."

"Sniff… y-you swear?" Motohama asked, voice wobbly.

"On the Holy Oppai," Issei said solemnly.

Matsuda wiped his tears with his sleeve. "Fine… but next time we're going to the good store."

"The one with the older-sister section?" Motohama asked.

"Of course."

They nodded in approval, satisfied.

Issei slung his bag over his shoulder and walked toward the school gates, waving behind him. "See you guys tomorrow!"

The duo watched him leave with the tragic dignity of men who had lost a comrade to happiness.

"…He really became a normie," Matsuda whispered.

"Yeah…" Motohama sniffed. "I'm proud of him. But also… I fucking hate him."

Meanwhile, Issei stepped out into the afternoon sun, unaware of their emotional meltdown behind him.

He exhaled deeply. 'Alright. Time to get home. The girls probably have some new chaos waiting for me.'

With that thought, he started heading toward the Hidden Castle.

The old abandoned church came into view as Issei stepped off the road. From the outside, it looked just as eerily decrepit as ever, cracked stone, rusted iron cross, broken windows…

But Issei knew better. He pushed open the heavy wooden doors.

A soft pulse rolled through the air and instantly, the world peeled away.

The ruined chapel melted into a sweeping, radiant hall of polished stone and shimmering candles. The scent of fresh lavender drifted through the magically reinforced air, and distant murmurs echoed from deeper within.

Issei let out a low whistle. "Man… I'll never get tired of that transformation. Evangeline really went all out with this place." He stepped forward, his shoes clicking against the floor, as he scanned the hall.

'Huh. Weird. I though that one of the girls would instantly be here to greet me… Nyaruko? Run? Lala's floating head?'

He continued through the castle, following the familiar halls lined with rich curtains, ornate vases, and shimmering enchantment threads woven by Shiraori. It was peaceful—almost too peaceful.

Then he reached the throne room and he blinked.

There, sitting cross-legged on the massive silk-covered throne, was Shiraori.

Her white hair draped over her shoulders, red eyes focused with terrifying intensity. Floating around her were dozens of shimmering silk threads, needles moving automatically, materials shifting in midair.

She didn't even look up at first. Her many parallel minds were fully engaged.

Issei took a hesitant step closer. "…Uh, Shiraori?"

She froze and her head snapped up instantly, eyes locking on him with laser precision. Then, with surprising speed, she held up something in both hands:

A perfectly sewn maid uniform, identical in style to Raynare and Kalawarna's… Except much smaller.

Issei blinked again. "Oh. That's… adorable."

Shiraori's expression remained unreadable, but her hands lifted the uniform a little higher, practically demanding his approval.

He couldn't help but smile. "Looks great! Seriously amazing work. But, uh…" He tilted his head, analyzing the size. "…that's way too small for Raynare or Kalawarna."

Shiraori puffed her cheeks ever so slightly, her version of a pout and shook her head in the negative.

Issei rubbed his chin. "Hmm… okay, maybe for Run? No wait, she's a bit taller. Yukina? But even she'd need a bit more width…"

Shiraori shook her head again, more forcefully this time.

"...Not Yukina?"

She shook her head rapidly.

"Nyaruko?"

Violent head shake.

"Evangeline—no wait, she'd bite my head off if I suggested that…"

Shiraori deadpanned.

"Right, okay… then who?"

Shiraori lifted her hands and began miming.

First she pointed downward. Then she made a tiny silhouette shape with her fingers. Then she mimed brushing hair… Then clasping hands in prayer… Then made a small sparkle gesture in the air.

Issei stared blankly. "…Shiraori, I mostly understand you, but you lost me at 'sparkle gesture.' Who is this uniform for…?"

Shiraori sighed so softly it was almost inaudible. But then she repeated the sequence slowly. Tiny person. Prayer hands. Sparkly aura.

Issei's eyebrows furrowed. 'Prayer… aura… small… sparkly…'

"A new maid," She added simply in the softest whisper, barely audible but clear enough.

"…A new… what?"

But before Shiraori could mime again—

"DARLING!!!"

"ISSEI!!!"

A pair of blurs shot in from the hallway.

Issei barely had time to react before Nyaruko launched herself at him like a missile, wrapping her arms around his torso.

Run slid in a second later, wrapping herself around his other side in a much gentler—but just as possessive—hug.

"Darling's home!!" Nyaruko cried, rubbing her cheek against his. "I missed you soooo much!"

Run pressed against his other shoulder, her voice soft but warm. "Welcome home, Issei… How was school."

Issei laughed, arms instinctively coming up to steady them both. "Hey, hey! Calm down, you two. I just got back."

Nyaruko shook her head rapidly. "Nope! Darling's cuddles are necessary! Mandatory! Legally required!"

Run smiled sweetly. "I agree. We should start a welcoming committee. One that waits at the door."

Issei's brain melted pleasantly under the double affection.

Behind them, Shiraori glared blankly at the interruption.

Issei, suddenly lost in cuddles, blinked. 'Wait… what was I asking again? Something about… a new… uniform? New maid?'

But Nyaruko tightened her hug, effectively crushing all rational thought. "Darling, guess what, guess what~!" Nyaruko chimed.

Run pouted. "Hey, I wanted to tell him first—"

Issei smiled helplessly, any questions he had instantly slipping into the abyss.

"Alright, alright! I'm listening."

And just like that the mystery of the "new maid" vanished from his mind. At least for now.

Shiraori, however, lowered the completed uniform into her lap… staring at Issei intently. 'You will understand soon.'

The dining hall of the Hidden Castle buzzed with soft conversation and the clinking of dishes. Sunlight filtered through the enchanted stained-glass windows, painting warm colors across the long table where everyone had gathered. It was one of the rare moments when nearly all the girls were seated together, waiting for lunch before embarking on their next adventure as the new summons will be meeting Issei's parents and then a tour of the town.

Issei sat at the center as usual, surrounded by multiple personalities, and varying degrees of chaos. He inhaled deeply, mentally preparing. 'There shouldn't be any trouble?' He swallowed hard. '…Right?' He pushed the thought aside and cleared his throat. "Okay, everyone. Before we eat, I've got some updates."

Multiple eyes turned toward him. Nyaruko looked practically vibrating with anticipation. Run leaned forward, hair shimmering like emerald silk. Karura rested her chin on her hand, calm but observant. Henrietta's expression was gentle, interested and Yukina sat quietly beside Issei, hands folded tightly in her lap.

Issei smiled encouragingly at her. "So, first thing, I told Sona of who will be enrolling and you all are officially going to school by next week."

Nyaruko let out an unholy squeal that echoed off every wall and slammed both hands onto the table with stars in her eyes. "THIS IS IT! My high school romance arc begins now! School dates! Lunch breaks together! Walking home hand in hand! Kyaaah~!"

Henrietta laughed softly. "Calm down, Nyaruko. You're going to scare the teachers before you even arrive."

Nyaruko puffed out her cheeks. "They must learn to accept love in its purest form!"

Karura snorted. "Or they'll simply expel you on day one."

Nyaruko hissed like a feral cat.

Meanwhile, Yukina gently tugged on Issei's sleeve, seated quietly beside Henrietta and Issei. "Um… I-Issei? she asked softly, eyes wide and uncertain. "Will it… be okay for me to go? And… will your parents… like me?" Her ears lowered timidly like a frightened kitten.

Issei felt his heart melt. He reached over and gently patted her head. "Yukina, trust me. You'll have nothing to worry about. A cute girl like you? My parents are going to adore you. Honestly, they'll probably try to adopt you. The same can be said with everyone at school."

Yukina's cheeks flushed pink. She nodded shyly, visibly relaxing.

Across the table, the other girls reacted in various ways with Nyaruko pouting aggressively as if it should be her sitting next to him and be getting petted on the head. Run was no better as she also wanted the same treatment.

Henrietta giggled softly and patted her on the back, whispering, "You'll be fine. Issei believes in you."

Yukina nearly melted on the spot.

Run leaned forward with her charm, cheeks warm with anticipation. "Issei, what are your parents like? I want to make a good impression…"

Issei paused to think. "Hm… Well, they're pretty normal. But they're really caring, and they'll definitely be excited to meet all of you."

Run smiled sweetly. "Then I'll do my best."

Issei then turned toward the more dangerous members of the group. "Lala, Karura, please don't scare my parents. They're normal humans."

Karura noticed and arched his brow. "I understand Lala but why am I singled out?"

Issei coughed. "Well, uh… you two are the most likely to… accidentally traumatize them."

Karura leaned back, crossing her arms. "…What part of me is scary?"

Evangeline smirked wickedly. "Your mere existence."

"Evangeline."

"Just telling the truth."

"Understood, I'll stay in my human form the whole time." Lala said with a bored expression as her head was resting on the table.

Issei placed a hand over his heart. "Thank you. Seriously."

Then Furina tapped the table impatiently.

"So after this whole 'meeting the parents' ordeal, can we PLEASE go somewhere interesting? I've been so bored I'm starting to talk to myself more than usual."

Run muttered, "That's… concerning."

Evangeline added, "That's also extremely normal for her."

Issei chuckled. "Yeah, after visiting my parents, I'll show everyone around town. There are some places you'll enjoy for sure. And I need to pick up a few items from home for you girls too."

"What items?" Priscilla asked curiously.

"Just some things I think everyone will like," He replied with a playful grin.

Before anyone could press for details, the dining hall doors creaked open. Raynare and Kalawarna stepped inside carrying trays of food. And both looked… nervous. Really nervous.

Raynare twitched beneath her maid uniform. Kalawarna's eyes darted around like she was expecting a magical guillotine to drop from the ceiling.

Issei blinked. "Oh hey, Raynare, Kalawarna! Perfect timing. We're all hun—" He stopped mid-sentence.

Kaguya's eyes narrowed dangerously. Henrietta straightened at once, gaze sharpening. Karura tapped her fingers against the table, her interest piqued.

And Evangeline… She leaned back in her chair, one leg crossed over the other, a smirk forming. "Well, well," Evangeline purred. "You two look like cats that swallowed a canary. Or two canaries. Or possibly an entire nest."

Raynare and Kalawarna froze.

Nyaruko squinted. "They're hiding something!"

Run nodded. "Yep. I can tell."

Yukina whispered, "Um… I-I think they're scared…"

Issei tilted his head innocently. "Hey, is something wrong? You two okay?"

Evangeline's eyes gleamed as she pointed a finger at the trembling pair. "You'd better not be hiding something from your betters." Her tone sliced through the air like a knife.

Raynare and Kalawarna trembled so hard the spoons on their tray rattled.

Raynare stammered, "L-Lady Evangeline, w-we—uh—well—"

Kalawarna bowed her head. "W-We can explain! Please don't—!"

Issei raised his hands in a calming gesture. "Guys, relax. I'm sure they'll tell us. Just… let them talk."

Most of the girls reluctantly backed down.

But Evangeline's glare remained sharp. And the two Fallen Angels exchanged a look of pure panic.

Raynare inhaled deeply, bracing herself. "W-We do have something to say," she whispered.

The entire table leaned forward.

Issei blinked innocently. 'I wonder what's going on…?'

Raynare's mouth opened.

Kalawarna's legs shook.

And then. "We have someone we would like to introduce."

Everyone stared at Raynare and Kalawarna, the two ex-Fallen Angels trembling so visibly that even the utensils on their trays rattled.

Henrietta set down her tea, expression tightening. Kaguya's face was hidden behind aristocratic suspicion. Karura leaned back in her seat, one golden eye narrowing. Evangeline's gaze sharpened like a predator ready to strike.

Issei blinked, completely oblivious to the incoming storm. 'Okay… that was dramatic. Who do they want to introduce? Don't tell me they adopted a lost puppy—.'

Raynare bowed deeply, voice cracking. "W-We have someone we would like to introduce…"

Kalawarna echoed her with a shaky nod. "We… we ask that everyone remain calm."

That was the wrong thing to say.

Nyaruko instantly jumped onto her chair. "CALM?! What did you do?! Did you bring someone here without Darling's permission? Did you bring a man?! DO I HAVE TO START KILLING?!"

Kaguya sighed. "Nyaruko, for heaven's sake, sit down."

Priscilla simply sipped her tea. "I sense nervous guilt, why?"

Shiraori peered from behind Issei, already knowing exactly what was about to happen, her expression as blank as ever.

Raynare inhaled sharply. "Asia! You can come in!"

The doors creaked open and soft footsteps approached as a blond Italian entered the dining hall wearing the maid uniform Shiraori made for her. The uniform fit her perfectly: short sleeves, a frilled apron, a light green ribbon at the neckline to match her eyes. Her blonde hair swayed gently with each anxious step, her cheeks flushed pink.

She clasped her hands together nervously. "H-Hello…!" she said in a tiny voice.

The room froze.For ten seconds, nobody spoke.

Then chaos. Immediate chaos.

Nyaruko shrieked. "WHO IS THIS TINY ADORABLE CREATURE?!"

Run gasped. "She's… cute. Cuter than me. She must be destroyed!"

Karura raised an eyebrow. "She looks fragile enough that wind could blow her away."

Kaguya's nostrils flared. "Why is she wearing a maid uniform?! Are we hiring staff now?"

Evangeline slammed her hands on the table. "YOU TWO BETTER START TALKING RIGHT NOW."

Issei, meanwhile, stared at Asia in utter confusion. "…Wait. Who is this? And why is she here? Please tell me you guys didn't kidnap her."

Asia blinked. Then she panicked. "I-Io… mi chiamo Asia Argento!" she blurted out rapidly in Italian. "È un piacere conoscervi tutti! Per favore, non arrabbiatevi con i miei superiori...!"

Issei froze. "…What?"

Asia blinked at him, repeating nervously, "Sono molto grata di essere qui…"

Issei leaned back in his chair. "…Okay. Guys I don't understand her, what's she saying?"

The girls stared at him.

Henrietta covered her mouth politely. "Um… Issei. You don't understand her?"

Karura blinked. "Really? She sounds japanese to me"

Issei threw his hands up. "What? She is clearly speaking a foreign language!"

Evangeline let out the hum of interest. As she has become fluent in many languages, in her ears the language is coming out in English. "I believe that the system has summoned us with built-in magical translators."

Issei choked. "Wait, WHAT?!"

"Just wait a bit." Evangeline flicked her fingers, casting a spell around him. A soft ripple of magic washed over his ears and mind. "There," she muttered. "Now try listening again."

Asia fidgeted shyly. "Um… m-my name is Asia Argento… Thank you very much for allowing me to stay…"

Issei blinked. "Ohhhh. So THAT'S what she was saying. Great. Now I just look stupid."

Evangeline then patted his shoulder. "You always look stupid, boy."

"HEY!"

Evangeline then glared at the two maids and snapped her fingers. "All right, explain yourselves. NOW."

Raynare and Kalawarna looked at each other. Then at the glaring women. Then at Issei.

Kalawarna whispered, "Asia, could you step outside for a moment?"

Asia nodded obediently. "O-Of course…"

She bowed politely and left the room, closing the door behind her.

The moment she was gone, Raynare and Kalawarna fell to their knees and both bowed deeply. "Master Issei… everyone… there is something you must know."

The room went still.

Raynare swallowed. "Before we were defeated by you… before Lady Evangeline reprogrammed us… we had a plan."

Kalawarna continued, voice trembling. "A cruel plan. To take that girl with a very rare healing Sacred Gear. Asia Argento. After she was excommunicated from the church, we planned to lure her here…"

"…and extract her Sacred Gear," Raynare finished, voice tight with guilt. "Even if it killed her."

Gasps erupted around the room.

Nyaruko stumbled backward. "You WHAT?!"

Yukina covered her mouth in horror.

Henrietta paled.

Karura's eye twitched. "You intended to harm a girl like THAT?"

Kaguya stood up sharply. "Unforgivable."

Even Lala, who usually didn' t mind people dying considering her purpose as a Dullahan, looked horrified. "That's… awful."

Evangeline said nothing. But her eyes were cold.

Issei… felt his stomach drop. "…You… were planning to kill her?" he whispered.

Raynare bowed her head so low her forehead touched the floor. "We accept any punishment," she whispered. "But Asia was already coming here before everything happened. And after the battle… and after our reprogramming… we forgot."

Kalawarna nodded. "When she showed up today… We remembered everything. And we hated ourselves for it."

Raynare looked up, eyes shining with guilt. "That's why we beg you… Master Issei… please let her stay. She has nowhere else to go. She's alone. And we will take full responsibility for her. We will teach her. Protect her. Guide her. Please."

The hall fell silent.

Issei exhaled deeply… feeling the weight of the decision. He stood slowly. "…Well… in good faith, I can't abandon someone who needs help," he said quietly. "So yeah. She can stay. And she doesn't need to be a maid if she doesn't want—"

Kaguya immediately rose to her feet. "Absolutly not."

Issei blinked. "Huh?"

Kaguya pointed at him with a glare. "If she is to live here, then she must work. We cannot allow more freeloaders to lounge around."

Half the table recoiled.

"EXCUSE ME?!" Nyaruko, Run, Lala, Priscilla, and even Yukina shouted at once.

Kaguya ignored them. "This household requires structure. A hierarchy. With Issei and myself at the top. Then the rest of the summons. Then the maids. Then—"

Issei interrupted, sweat pouring down his face. "Kaguya, that's… really unfair. I don't want a hierarchy like that. And I'm not forcing anyone to—"

Raynare bowed her head again. "No, Master Issei. It's fine," she said gently. "Asia has lost everything. She needs structure. Purpose. Routine. Let her be a maid. Let her find her place through work."

Kalawarna agreed softly. "We'll guide her. She'll thrive with guidance. This will also help her heal."

The room went quiet.

Issei sighed, frustrated and helpless. "…I really don't like this," he muttered. "But fine. If Asia chooses it herself… I won't argue."

Raynare and Kalawarna smiled with relieved gratitude.

Kaguya smirked victoriously behind her sleeve.

Nyaruko sulked and groaned. "Urrgh. I hate it whenever Kaguya is correct, It makes her so smug…"

Run crossed her arms. "Same."

Priscilla shrugged. "As long as she's treated well."

Henrietta softened. "We'll make her feel welcome."

Issei turned toward the door. "…Okay. Bring her in."

The doors creaked again as Raynare stepped out into the hall and whispered gently. "Asia, you can come in now."

Asia straightened, smoothed the frills of her new uniform nervously, and stepped back into the dining hall with tiny, hesitant steps.

She looked like a lamb walking into a den of lions. Except these lions were jealous, territorial, beautiful and extremely judgmental.

"U-Um… hello again…" Asia murmured softly. Her voice was barely above a whisper.

For a moment, no one spoke. Then, Issei smiled and gestured her closer. "Come in, Asia. Don't worry. Everyone here is… uh… mostly friendly."

"HEY!" half the table shouted at once. But Issei ignored them.

Asia stood beside Raynare, clutching her skirt nervously. Raynare and Kalawarna stepped behind her protectively.

Nyaruko leaped out of her seat and practically teleported in front of Asia. "Hiiii~! I'm Nyaruko! Special rank: Darling's number one wife!"

Issei choked while Kaguya and Run scoffed. Asia squeaked in surprise.
While Raynare covered her face as Kalawarna sighed.

Nyaruko leaned in until her forehead touched Asia's. "You are VERY cute. Suspiciously cute. I must keep my eye on you."

Asia panicked. "I-I'm s-sorry…?!"

Nyaruko softened for a moment, patting Asia's head. "But don't worry! If Darling likes you, I like you! Maybe!"

It was then Run turn as she approached elegantly, placing a hand over her chest. "My name is Run. It's very nice to meet you, Asia."

Asia bowed deeply. "T-Tanto piacere! I mean… v-very nice to meet you!"

Run smiled… a little too sweetly. "You really are adorable. Almost too adorable…"

Nyaruko hissed. "BACK OFF, RUN. She's mine to supervise!"

"Eeeeh?!" Asia said as she looked around wondering why they were about to start fighting.

Henrietta stepped forward with gentle grace, offering both hands. "My name is Henrietta de Tristain. And please, don't be afraid. You're safe here."

Asia's eyes softened. "O-Oh… thank you very much…"

Henrietta gave her a warm smile, instantly earning Asia's silent trust.

Karura leaned back in her chair, arms crossed, expression unreadable. "So this fragile girl is going to be living with us now?"

Asia trembled.

Karura sighed. "…Relax. I'm not going to hurt you. You're… harmless."

Issei frowned. "Karura, tone."

She shrugged. "Fine. Welcome, Asia."

Asia nodded nervously.

Then Kaguya rose with elegant majesty as she gave her introduction. "Kaguya Houraisan. Do not be overwhelmed, I am simply the most flawless woman you will ever meet."

Asia blinked. "E-Eh?"

Kaguya sighed and waved her hand dismissively. "Just do your maid duties properly, and you will not incur my wrath."

Lala' body shoved her head in front of Asia causing her to gasp in horror and tremble uncontrollably. While the head spoke out in a monotone voice. "Hello. I'm Lala. Don't be frightened as your death is still not here yet,"

Asia just continued to stare in horror with Run patting her back. "Don't worry, she's a Dullahan. That's normal."

"N-Normal?!" She stuttered.

From further down the table, a chair scraped back with theatrical flair. Furina rose, placing a hand dramatically over her chest as if she were stepping onto a stage. "Ahem. I suppose it is my turn."

Asia turned her anxious eyes toward her.

Furina swept forward, posture perfect, chin tilted just so. Her aqua eyes studied Asia carefully—first with curiosity, then with a flicker of something like… assessment. "I," she declared, "am Furina. An unparalleled beauty, a woman of refinement, and frankly the only one here with a proper sense of performance."

"Not true! I can be very dramatic" Nyaruko says.

"That's debatable." Run scoffed.

But Furina ignored them completely."So, little healer, you're the new one they brought in, hm?" Her voice dropped its theatrics just a bit. "You look like you'll blow away in a strong breeze. That's… inconvenient."

Asia panicked. "I-I'm sorry…!"

Furina blinked, then scoffed lightly. "I didn't say it was bad. Just inconvenient. Still…" She tapped her finger against her arm, thinking. "…you're polite, you look like a lost kitten, and Issei has already decided to protect you, so…" She straightened, turning her face away with a huff. "I suppose I'll allow you to stay."

Asia stared. "Y-You… allow me…?"

Furina's cheeks reddened just a touch.

"D-Don't twist my words! I'm simply saying that if you're going to live here, you might as well learn how not to be a helpless mess. So watch carefully, listen to your seniors, and try not to cry too much, alright?"

Henrietta smiled behind her hand. "That's her way of saying she'll look out for you."

Furina spluttered. "I did NOT say that!"

Issei chuckled quietly.

Asia bowed gratefully. "T-Thank you very much, Furina-san…"

Furina coughed and turned away, waving her hand dismissively. "Hmph. You'd better be grateful."

Then it was Priscilla's turn, who had been surprisingly quiet as the moment Asia showed herself something inside her stirred that demanded she protect her. It was weird but she didn't hate the feeling, seeing that the rest were introducing themselves and not wanting to be rude, she quickly stood up. "Welcome, little one. My name is Priscilla. I hope we can get along."

Asia quickly gave a bow back and said the same. Shiraori then walked forward quietly. Causing Asia to straighten up like a soldier at the girl who gave her the uniform.

When both were in front of each other, Shiraori stared and Asia did the same.

Shiraori then lifted a hand and gently patted Asia on the head again. Then she returned to her seat.

Leaving Asia now both flattered and confused.

But then the cold, elegant, and imposing Evangeline stood from her chair. Her size… did not help her dramatic entrance as she was shorter than Asia.

But Asia still immediately hid behind Raynare, gripping the back of her uniform like it was a shield.

Though this caused Raynare and Kalawarna to stiffened.

Evangeline then stared up at Asia with narrowed blue eyes that felt like they could pierce straight through her soul. "Hmph." She clicked her tongue in annoyance at the height difference. "So. You are the girl they almost murdered."

Asia's entire body locked up. Her eyes went wide like a cornered rabbit. "M-M-M-Murder…?" She whispered, terrified and confused, not understanding.

Raynare and Kalawarna flinched so hard their feathers nearly popped out.

Issei hissed under his breath, "Eva! Not helping!"

Evangeline rolled her eyes dramatically. "Oh please. If she can't handle a little truth, she's going to have a very hard time living here." She flicked her fingers, brushing her hair back with arrogant precision. "But fine. Whatever." She crossed her arms and regarded Asia again, this time slightly less like she wanted to interrogate her and slightly more like she was evaluating a new employee.

"I'm Evangeline," she said flatly. "Welcome to the castle. Do your work properly, and we shouldn't have any problems."

Asia—heart pounding—bowed so fast her head nearly snapped forward. "R-RIGHT! I-I will do my best!"

Evangeline waved her hand dismissively as if telling a child to sit. "You'd better."

Then she returned smoothly to her seat, legs crossed, sipping her tea like nothing dramatic had happened at all.

Raynare exhaled and Kalawarna wiped her forehead. Asia trembled but peeked out from behind Raynare, relieved the tiny but terrifying vampire had backed off.

Finally, Issei leaned slightly so he could meet Asia's fearful eyes. "My Issei and I hope we can get along." Issei, seeing her fear, then placed his hand on her head and gave it a rub. "Asia… you're more than welcome here. You can stay as long as you want. You're safe. I promise."

Asia's eyes shimmered with emotion. "R-Really…? You mean it…?"

He smiled. "Of course."

Asia nearly burst into tears from relief.

Behind her, Raynare and Kalawarna exhaled deeply, relieved beyond words.

Then Issei frowned slightly, looking at the whole table. "And all of you—don't give her a hard time. She's been through enough."

The girls grumbled, muttered, or nodded reluctantly.

Except Henrietta, who placed a supportive hand on Asia's back. "You're one of us now."

Raynare and Kalawarna brought the remaining dishes to the table. The delicious aroma filled the room, rice, miso soup, fresh vegetables, warm bread, grilled meat, and fruit.

Everyone began serving themselves.

Issei turned to Asia. "Hey Asia, we're heading out after lunch to meet my parents and then go around town. Do you want to come with us?"

Asia looked uncertain and turned to her senior maids.

Raynare smiled softly. "Go."

Kalawarna nodded. "You should learn more about Master Issei."

Asia looked back at him. "I… I would very much like to come."

Issei beamed. "Great. Then sit down and eat with us."

Asia nervously sat between Raynare and Henrietta. And the group began eating together.
