Just tried the tutorial of For Honor and it is personally nothing for me. Controls feel clunky/slow and just a casual glance makes it look like there is a ton of stuff behind a paywall. (Weapons, equipment etc.. that give stat bonuses etc..) For someone who tends to forget about games and is probably the opposite of "hardcore" I would probably end up dropping it after getting my butt kicked in PVP a couple times as it looks like this is mostly a PVP game anyway. (Never mind that I got my ass kicked in the tutorial a few times and just gave up on the last one.)

May be interesting for other people I guess, it has a Dark Souls sort of vibe from the delayed controls at least if anyone likes that sort of stuff. (Though really the controls are the only thing I can compare it with, not least of which because I dropped DS before I could get far since I couldn't get the mouse controls to work even with a fanmade fix. Trying to fight multiple enemies if the targeter switches between them at the slightest mouse movements turned the controls from painful to ridiculous.)

I get the impression it's one of those games where the sales aren't doing too well so they offer a basic edition for free in the hopes that people will buy the DLC and pay wall stuff. They're probably also trying to grow the multiplayer base which isn't that effective if your multiplayer has problems with it.

More than that. it's been calculated out that to unlock all the content without paying anything, you will have to play, and play very well, for almost 4,000 hours total. That's 4,000 hours in-game and in matches, not just idling on the main menu while you sleep or go to work.

Add that to the lackluster gameplay, bugs, and general ubisoftness and it's not surprising sales and player count has dropped to almost nothing. They keep offering it for free in hopes of enticing more people to play, but it just doesn't work for some strange reason.

I added to my Steam lib because why not, but nice to know I can safely forgot this one then. :)

One thing I'm going to say about that game is that I got it twice... once as part of the Steam Summer Sale ( got a refund the first time) and once as part of a bundle with Dawn of War 1 and 2 recently (tried again to get it to work the second time, but really just cared about Dawn of War so didn't spend more than a couple hours on it). The other two games work fine on my computer. Space Marine just crashes on start up and I've spent over eight hours total trying to get the damn game to work and have done everything from checking my drivers to compatibility mode to running as administrator to a clean install of windows 10. I suspect the issue is either Windows 10 or an incompatibility with my graphics card (PowerColor Red Dragon Vega 56). I think it's the former. So... word of warning if you have Windows 10 or possibly a newer graphics card.

The bug I got was immediate crash on startup and I could not fix this.
I played it on 360. It was pretty fun, but more for the plot and characters than the gameplay. You're not missing too much. The final boss is especially disappointing.

The gameplay is pretty fun as far as I'm concerned, but it gets less interesting near the end of the game due to the change in enemies forcing you to resort to a more careful playstyle and hiding in cover. Fighting orks is much more fun since you can get more aggressive.

Time for some keys.
Sniper Elite 4
Battle Chef Brigade
Staxel
Little Nightmares

Darksiders 2

PM me if you want any or all of them.

Howdy, could I get Battle Chef Brigade and/or Staxel?

Well this is a little emotionally confusing.

Earlier today I felt like playing some more Tribes Ascend, having been a long time since I have last played, only to discover that the developers have officially abandoned the game and the player base is almost dead.

After a little more searching though, I discovered that they didn't simply let the Tribes IP die and instead have offered up the entire Tribes game line for free at https://www.tribesuniverse.com/.

It will likely be nearly impossible to get a random group together, but I figure I'll try to get the news out that that one of the defining games of my teenage years(hundreds, possibly thousands of hours went into Tribes 1) is still easily available if any group wants to setup and run a server for their friends.

Tribes will live on, hopefully it will someday be revived again by a developer who will keep it alive.

I had a lot of fun with the modding community for the first two games... well, the first two Tribes games, anyway -- the Earthsieges I played vanilla. Never really got into the later ones... but damn did that series ever break ground, even if many of its components are kinda "meh" nowadays.

I remember playing a tribes rpg mode that was fun. Can't remember what one had that or if it was a mod.

GoG is going to be giving away either Shadow Warrior 2, Superhot, or Firewatch for free on Thursday Oct 4, and we get to vote for which one now. Personally voting for Firewatch, since while it has the lowest rating of the 3 the trailer is easily the most interesting.

Also voting is only going on for 14 hours from now.

Coooould we get an English Link plz?

At the very bottom of the page is the language selection. It doesn't change the link, however, so you'll have to do that yourself.

Thanks for pointing that out, I was trying to figure out what asdx was talking about. English is the only language I speak, so if the link somehow wasn't in English I would have no idea what was up.

Is there anyone with a free copy of Frostpunk? Because I want Frostpunk.
