I moved my arm, closing and opening my fist. It wasn't my arm but it was at the same time. My "skin" was some segmented white material, with oriental designs carved into the… skin? My fingers were strangely pointed.

"UTC-ENE-226.1 just closed and opened its left fist, UTC-ENE-226.2 remains unresponsive. Possibly needs an alternative power source," A voice said.

I could feel something like another body a few feet away, through its eye I could see it laying on a metal table. We were in a room like a hospital surgery room, a lot of white with metal tables and sinks. But instead of medical equipment, it was machines. I tried to get up, only for something to hold me down.

"UTC-ENE-226.1 has attempted to get out of their restraints, UTC-ENE-226.2 is still unresponsive."

Where am I? Where am I?! I started to struggle, whatever restraints that held my face down on the table not giving. Suddenly a red light on the wall lit up, the voice sighed, "Deactivating UTC-ENE-226.1, I will continue experimentation later."

"-vated." The voice said not even a moment later.

"So this is… UTC-ENE-22- whatever?" Another voice says this was one that sounded male like the other but was younger, and obviously more naive. I didn't care, my body was feeling sluggish again, as I slowly got my fingers to move. Like me see you! Why am I face down?!

"UTC-ENE-226.1," The original voice said, sounding annoyed by the other's unprofessionalism, "I would stand back if I were you. The last time I activated it, it tried to break out of its restraints."

There was a pregnant pause, did they leave? I tried to get up this time, but the apparent restraints held strong. I could hear a yelp of surprise as I struggled, "Shit," the younger voice said with a sigh, "You weren't wrong about it thrashing, geez." Silence again, "What does this ball thing do?"

"So far its use is unknown but my sensors detect a connection between UTC-ENE-226.1 and UTC-ENE-226.2. There also seems to be immense pressure on the inner-casing of UTC-ENE-226.2, so far attempts to open the inner-casing as been a failure and I assume it to be some kind of power generator for UTC-E-"

"You know you can just say like, 226.1 or something instead of the full name," the young voice said, I could see a red gauntletted hand move into the vision of the strange third eye I had.

The older voice made a huffing sound, "226.2 seems to be powering 226.1, and key on their back essentially being the power switch."

A kid, the face to the young voice turned towards my third eye crouching to get at head height with it, "Was this glowing before?" He asked, moving a lock of messy red hair out of his face, he needed a haircut.

Sounds of shuffling, the kid moving and giving someone in blue armor to take up the vision of the eye. I wasn't able to see his face. Holding up some device and bringing it up to where I assumed his face was the man said, "It appears that the previously small grey screen on UTC-ENE-226.2 has begun to glow sky blue. What this means is so far unknown but it might just be an indication that it is in an active state, but that is only a theory."

If I hadn't been tied to a table and panicking I might have been able to make some kind of joke about games and theories, it just felt right. But I was too panicked to care, fighting against the restraints.

I wanted out!

I wanted out!

I wanted out!

I needed out!

My third eye exploded outwards, I could feel the shockwave a blue glow covered everything in my limited field of vision. The man and I assumed the kid was thrown by the blast, but the man flew back in slow motion. Suddenly my eye flew over to a beautiful-looking robot made of white, silver, and shiny bronze, struggling against streel restraints. It repeated the blast effect, I felt a little burst of wind and sounds like gunshots. I flinched for a moment but I tried to get up again, and I got up, pushing myself up and off of my face.

I sat up on the table still unsteady, I was a little shorter than the table even though the man seemed waist height with the table. As I tried to stand I stumbled, I shrieked as I fell forwards into the edge of another metal table.

It surprisingly didn't hurt, but it did sound like clacking two metal balls together. This time more slowly I climbed to my feet, my third eye watching the robot struggle to its feet as well, before the boy in red armor jumped over the table the robot was using for stability and reached for the key on its back and twist-

I couldn't see through my third eye suddenly, well I could but it was only a dark surface, illuminated by a soft baby blue glow. Yet again my body was slow, and my restraints weren't moving, having much less slack than they used to. Why did stopping that robot's key make me wake up tied down again? This time more voices were talking, but I didn't listen to them.

I was going to die!

I was going to die like this! Stuck to a table and experimented on by a weird-armered man! I wanted to hyperventilate, I tried, I physically tried. But I couldn't breathe, I started to panic, why couldn't I breathe? I bucked and screamed, I don't remember what I yelled but with my third eye the thing in front of it crumpled, like it was being crushed and slowly dragged somewhere out of its sight.

I could see people panicking, the sound of my screaming, and what sounded like a very powerful vacuum drowning it out, as everything seemed to be pulled towards my third eye. Some weird axe thing flew towards my eye being sucked under it with the sound of rending metal. Then suddenly the pulling stopped, my eye flying back to the robot, all but its head and the key on its back covered in restraints. It produced the force again, throwing around the recovering bodies on the floor, causing them to move in slow motion.

Suddenly I was free, I scrambled to my feet as quick as I could, only for something small, hard, and fast to slam into my forehead snapping my head back. Turning to see what had hit me I was greeted with the sight of a woman in camo clothes, this weird energy changing and shifting in her hands turning into a really really big looking rifle and aiming it at me.

I shrieked stumbling back and falling over, curling into a fetal position and covering my head. "I don't wanna die! I don't wanna die!"

There was shuffling and suddenly I was face down again, I couldn't help but scream.

Table.2
I screamed, my body was stiff again though I could still thrash. I tossed and I turned, for a second it felt like nothing was holding me down, for a small fleeting moment I thought I was free. Before someone help me down, they struggled against me trying to talk over my screaming.

Firm hands grabbed my mostly unresponsive shoulders, another grabbing my legs I tried to kick them away fearing the worst. Are they going to rip off my legs?! D-did they change my arm? I want my Daddy!

The hands worked to turn me over and sit me up, I froze seeing the person holding my shoulders, the woman with camo clothes, a patterned cloth covering her face. "P-please I-I," I tried to gulp seeing the weapon on her hip, she quietly shushed me drawing my attention to her face and those deep kind eyes.

"Hey, everything's okay," the woman said, she had a Piltovin accent but looked Shariman. I leaned forwards, placing my face into the crook of her neck. I could feel arms wrap around me, bringing me into a hug. I wanted to cry, I could make the sounds associated with it, but I couldn't cry.

"W-why can't I cry?" I choked out through nonexistent tears.

The Shariman woman made soft comforting sounds, I cried more but after what felt like hours but seconds at the same time she broke the comforting hug. "Do you have a name?" She asked, leaning forwards slightly to be at eye level with me.

I fidgeted for a moment, looking away seeing a small man in white armor clovered in clocks, his hand on a large torso-sized ball on a table, it looked a lot like the things Daddy made. "Orianna," I said quietly, lifting a hand to my throat hearing my voice clearly for the first time. It sounded fake, robotic, kind of like the phonograms Mommy used to love collecting. "Orianna Reveck."

The woman nodded, "It's nice to meet you Orianna, you can call me Miss Militia, it's nice to meet you." She stuck out a hand to shake and I responded in kind, I couldn't help but stare at my arm, it was the same brilliant design with intricately caved petricite making up the shell for the inner mechanisms. The same design Daddy used for most of his creations.

I looked down at my body, I looked like the robot from before. What. No this wasn't right, this wasn't right. This wasn't right! Daddy said he wouldn't! He wouldn't! He wouldn't! He wouldn't! Hands that weren't my own but in my control shakily raised up to my face.

Clink.

The metallic faxsimally of my face screamed, hands that weren't mine clawed at a false face as I tried willing this false body to try and take itself apart. Maybe the true me was underneath? Maybe Daddy just made a protective shell?

The Shariman woman was quick and strong, grabbing my arms and stopping me from ripping open this body's shell, "Hey!" She shouted, the worried look in my eyes almost made me faux cry again, I was a monster, nothing more than a clockwork monster! Yet she looked like she cared, "Hey, everything going to be okay! Can you be strong for me? Can you do that?"

"Y-yeah," I eventually choked out.

Something told me she was smiling under the cloth covering her mouth, a kind, and soft smile, like Mommy, used to, "I have a few questions that I need you to answer, okay?" I nodded, "Okay, if you don't want to, or can't answer any of these questions you can just tell me to stop, is that alright?"

"Y-yeah," I said, flinching at my own voice.

"Okay. First question: Do you know what happened before… before you woke up here?"

"Yeah, I lived with my Daddy, my Mommy died."

She made a sad noise, "I'm sorry."

"For what?"

Miss Militia sighed before ignoring the question with another question, "Were you always like this?"

"No," I said quickly and simply.

"Do you know who did this to you?" I felt smaller hearing the question, thinking back to when I was sick from the gasses of Zaun. Arguing with Daddy, telling him that I was fine, I didn't want a new body. I had seen what he had done to the lady called C, turned into a living weapon. The blood-stained tips of her sharpened legs. I didn't want to be a weapon, I was ready to accept Kindred's arrow. "It's fine you don't need t-"

"Daddy did it," I quickly blurted out, I could hear the man in the clock pattern armor suck in a breath. I wish I could still do that.

"Oh you poor thing," the Shariman woman said looking at me looking very worried, "That's enough. That's enough for now." She looked lost and hurt for a few moments before standing to her full height, offering me a hand. "How about we go for a walk?" She suggested. Was she trying to distract me?

Yeah.

I would like a distraction.

Neat, thanks for the chapter. At first I thought it was Taylor who got put into the League-verse but it's the other way around.
