People told me I should make my own thread if I had problems with Goofy Wrath. So I took their advice.

I like the worldbuilding of A Father's Wrath. I find Heaven's leadership abominable to the point I'm rooting for the ostensible villains anyway.

Apparently, the Lord X equivalent of the Hazbinverse, Lady C, agrees with me. So, partially to take Heaven down a peg, and partially to preserve a universe that will flame out on it's own, she elects to merge A Father's Wrath... with Goofy Ahhh of Sprites. As well as elements of War of Sprites, Battle of Sprites, Super All-Star Bros, and Super Smash Bros Z. 16 planets merged into one in total. Shiver Star and the Forgotten Lands, Mario and Sonic Earths, Goku's Earth, One Piece Earth, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Earth, Marvel Earth, Freedom Planet Avalice, Fairy Tale Earth, Yugioh Earth, Jujutsu Kaisen Earth, Chrono Trigger Earth, Megaman Earth(Zero/Star Force Era), and Hazbin Earth. 15 franchises. Then we add Super Smash Bros.

One of the reasons is that GAoS doesn't give the slightest of damns about how stupid you act, which should inoculate the hybrid against, say, further damage to Uriel's Sephirot from doing something sufficiently stupid. It's also not going to break down if someone breaks a fundamental law, so something similar applies to Stability. And so on.

I should stress that C doesn't hate the Archangels or God or consider them evil. She just thinks they're stupid and self-righteous. If she hated them, she wouldn't be bothering with this rigmarole. She'd have just eaten them. She had to be talked down from doing that to Darkseid the last time she visited DC, as it technically qualifies as sealing them, rather than killing them, meaning you wouldn't get the usual problems killing them would cause. Which is not to say that there would be no problems whatsoever, but it's generally far superior to letting them run around causing trouble.

It should be noted that I'm working with someone on a much messier take, where Lady C's efforts end up drawing in a lot more than she planned on. Goofier Wrath. Because she isn't infallible. But she doesn't claim to be.

Powerscaling
This system uses exponential scaling. X2 in a biggatons sense(Ie, Kaioken X2) is a 10% increase. X128 amounts to doubling your 'powerlevel' on this scale. This Informational will give some context. It should be noted that higher numbers do not always equate to a win. Eggman was categorically incapable of harming Super Sonic directly in Sonic Unleashed, but still managed to trap the latter and drain his energy. As a general rule, one must be within an order of magnitude to harm a being, unless special circumstances are in play like aforementioned energy draining device. Something similar applies to Enerjak Vs Super Sonic in Archie.

This means that 'unbreakable' items are often merely possessed of durability beyond the ability of anything known in the setting to harm it. Cavemen would likely consider the Sun indestructible yes?

It's like he was Batman in a Kryptonite suit up against Superman. The fact that he scored a mutual-kill is impressive, but there were about a million things working in his favor.

Mastered Enerjak: 775,200,000,000.

The End: 7,777,777. Akin to Azrael, but as a... thing that existed before it's universe.

Mecha Sonic: 13,320. Base will increase over time as he acquires more Biodata. No known upper limit.
Semi-Super Mecha Sonic: 133,200.
Super Mecha Sonic: 1,332,000.
Hyper Mecha Sonic: 133,200,000. Currently a death sentence, as he lacks the ability to use this form without burning out his systems, since Sonic only entered the form once. Biodata from more Super forms/Chaotic beings will resolve this quickly. Large numbers of normal beings can also resolve this on the back of sheer durability.
Metallix: 13,320,000,000. A meta-stable form. Can be acquired in several ways, but the best-known is to simply take all 7 Chaos Emeralds into himself and evolve. They are not required to maintain the form once this evolution has occurred.

Nazo: 430,500. Able to fight 2 Super forms or a Base Fusion and hold his own. As a being of Negative Chaos Energy, can absorb unlimited quantities of Negative Chaos Energy, and may be capable of tapping other negative energies, but unable to make use of Positive Energy. Indeed, he can only be defeated by Positive Energy, as otherwise, his nature as an energy being makes physical damage at most an momentary inconvenience.
Super Nazo: 43,500,000.
Perfect Nazo: 12,959,000,000.
Hyper Perfect Nazo: 15,120,000,000. Technically just an augmented form.
Chaos Nazo: 54,159,990,000. An immense infusion of energy from the Master Emerald, but something he would normally only do in desperation.

Seelkadom(Suppressed): 16,049,900,000.
Seelkadoom: 44,939,700,000. Immensely powerful, but his power raises many questions. He is not a fusion of Sonic and Shadow, but a hybrid clone infused with Negative Chaos Energy. How did he achieve such power....?

This is a bare layout and should be updated as time passes.

AFW Timeline
And, like this timeline, is similar to AFW right?

Could you, like post a timeline of that universe here for reference?

Pre-Creation: The Whole God splits itself into God and Roo, before creating the universe.

God walls Creation off from Roo.

Extremely Early Creation: Uriel, Haniel, and Azrael are created and assist with the process of making the universe. Azrael in particular helps beat back Roo's questing tendrils. This would eventually resolve into the Tree of Knowledge in Eden. No further action is taken beyond warning the humans not to eat from it, as the Archangels assume no one would be stupid enough to do so.

The Archangels are Created in ones and twos, with Samael being the last. Each Archangel has a Sephirot, though Samael's is inactive until the universe has a proper foundation.

Other Angels are Created to fulfill various positions in Heaven.

God leaves the universe to the Archangels. With the primary goal of ensuring Stability.

Samael's ideas are repeatedly rejected on this basis, which begins feeding an Inferiority Complex he'd developed from constantly comparing himself to Michael. They tell him to humble himself repeatedly.

Approximately the time of Eden's Creation: The Archangels send Samael off to the edge of the universe to fill it with stars while they make Eden.

Samael sneaks into Eden and meets Adam, befriending him.

Lilith is Created to be Adam's bride and mother of humanity. Much like Samael, she constantly compares herself to Adam, and her apparent inferiority causes her to refuse to have children with him.

The Archangels constantly sing Adam's praises for his obedience while giving Lilith the cold shoulder at best. Samael attempts to convince Adam of Lilith's point of view, but Adam brushes him off. Eventually, it drives a wedge into their relationship.

The Archangels are officially allowed into Eden, where Samael connects with Lilith after seeing the cold shoulder they give Lilith while singing Adam's praises and connecting it to his feelings regarding how they treat him and Michael. Samael and Lilith begin spending time together after Adam and Samael's relationship falls apart. Lilith and Samael fall in love, feeling rejected by everyone else. Samael is guilty, as he feels this is a betrayal of Adam.

Uriel discovers Lilith and Samael together and informs everyone. The feeling of betrayal severs Adam and Lilith's bond, damaging Uriel, Raphael, Jophiel, and Michael's Sephirot, something Samael had not been aware would be reflected back on them due to his own Sephirot being inactive. These four would vote to execute Samael and Lilith, in part because they assumed this meant no more humans would be born as a result of Adam refusing to touch Lilith, while the others would abstain or vote against, resulting in a tie. So it was decided that they would be exiled outside the Garden, their ultimate fate left up to God.

God promptly Creates Eve to replace Lilith. They have an immediate clicking together akin to Samael and Lilith. Adam, having been charged to name everything in Eden, encounters a shade of Roo, giving her that name. This forges a connection between her and Creation, especially combined with a friendship with Eve, which nearly allows her to break out of the Tree. Michael seals her away again. Roo swiftly becomes obsessed with Adam. Again, no further action is taken to keep Roo in check.

Samael eventually snuck back into the Garden, and is happy to see Adam and Eve getting along. He tells Lilith, but being replaced sparks worries that God would erase her. Samael attempts to reassure her, but her fears feed into his own after the near-miss at execution, and they hatch a plot. They would prove Lilith was no fluke by seeing Eve err, and what could be more grievous an error than eating the Fruit of the Tree?

Lucifer is sure that Adam will follow Eve out of the Garden, recognizing the he loves her, and hopes his friend might forgive him one day.

They meet with Eve, and when she refuses the Apple because Adam told her not to, they pull out their secret weapon.

Insecurity.

They use the same feelings of unworthiness they had felt to convince her that eating the Apple would make her a worthy bride.

Eve caved. She was already Lilith's replacement, and she had felt Roo's presence before. So she believed Roo would warn her if it was dangerous.

Alas...

Roo took the opening to enter Creation, merging with Eve, all in an attempt to finally reach Adam. Having been locked away, able to see and hear Creation but never touch it, had created a twisted, obsessive love for Adam. The results shocked Lilith and Samael, and damaged the Sephirot. Uriel in particular was almost ripped apart by his creations, while Azrael ripped her eyes out when she saw what Roo was doing to Death.

God showed up, furious, banishing Lucifer and Lilith to Hell for what they had done. Michael and Raphael would descend to Hell after they landed, the former stripping Lucifer of Progress while the latter rendered Lilith barren. He separated Roo from Eve as best he could, but was incapable of ejecting her influence from Creation, resulting in a new seal within Eve.

He claimed that he was going to erase and replace Eve, after she asked, and the Archangels approved this plan.

Adam tried to eat from the Tree to prevent it, but it had had any fruit removed. So he elected to eat some of the bark.

God announced that this was a test meant to show Eve and the Archangels that Adam still loved her, which Adam had passed, and allowed Adam to follow Eve out of the Garden.

Things proceed more or less as in the Bible, up until Cain and Abel. Cain had a talent for manipulating souls, which he unwittingly used to shatter Abel's soul, which would have killed him hard enough that even God couldn't revive him. However, Roo intervened, because she loved Adam, and saved Abel. Because his soul was taken in by Roo, no one else realized it hadn't been destroyed.

Eve was distraught after Abel's death and Cain's banishment, praying to God, asking him why he let this happen. She never got an answer, and came to resent God.

So she started praying to someone else.

Roo loved Adam too, had saved Abel, and disdained God. So this time, they agreed to merge. It happened gradually, both for Eve's safety and to keep it from being obvious to the Angels or getting God's attention before he left. By the time of Adam's death, she was Eve Chavah, rather than the Eve who had left the Garden. This would lead Adam to assume that Roo had simply hidden until God left before hollowing Eve out, refusing to hear other opinions.

The seal God had placed had not been designed with Eve and Roo reaching an accord in mind, but it retained it's secondary function of Splintering a chunk of Roo off each time Eve had a child, with Seth inheriting the most power from both parents. He long suspected something was wrong with Eve, so he and his wives went furthest afield, setting up their village farthest from Adam and Eve, and he prepared for a potential confrontation.

Adam had grown concerned at Eve's change in behavior and asked the Archangels to keep an eye on her. They did so for decades following his death but neglected to set up any kind of permanent watch. So when they turned their attention away, Chavah went on a rampage, devouring her descendants in order to reclaim her soul shards and reach Adam. As she took their souls into herself, Heaven didn't realize anything was wrong.

Within the week, humanity was on the brink of extinction. Cain had witnessed these events, however, and warned Enoch and by proxy Seth of Roo's approach. Arming himself with trophies taken from slain Monsters, and with surreptitious aid from Cain, Seth succeeded in a mutual kill. Seth suspected his mother was still in control, but lacked proof, and so, he kept quiet. For whatever reason, God doesn't tell anyone either.

Things proceed as in the Bible for the most part. The Archfiends arose, Super-Overlords capable of reaching Earth and harming Angels. Meanwhile, the Watchers began having Nephilim with the humans. Nephilim are considered affronts by God, to the point they never decompose.

An uprising occurs, Demons, Sinners, Fallen, and Nephilim railing against Heaven. Lucifer and Lilith do nothing, the latter empowering Hell impartially through her song, and the latter not expecting anything to come of it, correctly deducing that Michael could slaughter this lot to the last by herself.

The Archangels indeed slaughtered the uprising, but the bloodshed awoke Roo, which caused God to come back and punch her unconscious again, turning Hell from a single plane to the Rings we know and initiating The Flood. This also raised the ceiling on Archfiends, as Lilith could previously visit Earth, but lost that ability at this point, and 2 billion souls wasn't enough to bypass the block, merely enough to give her free rein of Hell.

The Exterminations were set up to kill off the denizens of Hell in smaller numbers that wouldn't wake Roo up. Adam was selected to lead them so that the Exorcists had the firepower to take down Overlords reliably, as no other Winner could spend time in Hell without Roo claiming their soul sooner or later. Adam agrees in order to keep Roo quiescent.

Things proceed as in Hazbin Hotel until Season 1 ends.

Goofy Wrath IF: Degenerate Levels of Drip New
*** Pride Ring: Morningstar Mansion ***

Lucifer was shocked out of his musings by what looked almost like his daughter. She was too tall, and the proportions were a little off, but it was still eerie.

"Hello there! We don't have much time. You should know that Adam's come back to life with a power-up. His eyes have something called Divine Reflection. Basically, 'Made in God's image' taken to the logical conclusion of being able to copy anything your God has made, including you. Which mostly consists of copying any magic or special techniques you use. Wild punches and blasts of raw magic are things he struggles with."

Lucifer blinked as he tried to process the idea of Divine Reflection. "I mean, I'm happy he's alive-"

The figure was blunt. "He's coming down here to make you tell him where Eve is, and then beat you to death anyway. He's gotten enough of a boost to be stronger than Michael."

Lucifer felt his blood run cold at the thought. Michael could rip him limb from limb any time she wanted. His spot as one of Roo's seals was the only reason she didn't. The warning gave him some options, and he could keep the special moves he used to a minimum to keep Adam from getting too many new toys to play with, but he knew he'd never be able to beat Michael. If he was lucky and fought smart, he might be able to manage a tie. Maybe. Someone stronger...

"Which is why I'm giving you a buff. While what you did was monstrous, you clearly regret it, and Adam isn't exactly an innocent after leading the slaughter of his own descendants, and it's not as if the Archangels are blameless in either case. Plus, your daughter would be sad if you died or fell into a coma, and you might call me a fan of hers." She tossed something at him. It looked like a set of clothes bathed in some kind of golden light.

He blinked, and abruptly found himself encased in white armor. A glance in a nearby mirror showed him a fairly impressive knightly figure. It was... well, a dark knight in white armor seemed like the best description. His cane had been made into a sword and everything! "You're about 15 times as powerful, enough to be stronger than Michael or this new Adam, though the latter can still do the whole 'use your own attacks against you' thing, so be careful. I've also made Fire, Ice, blood loss, poison, insanity, sleep, Holy, and Death stuff 60% less effective, so he should be struggling to hurt you with any of that. Now, I'm going to have a talk with some of the other Sins and your daughter, since they'll want to fight with you and Adam totally won't have any objections to beating the crap out of them if they get in the way." with that, she vanished, just as a familiar figure with eyes Lucifer both did and didn't recognize appeared.

Perhaps it was Charlile's influence, but he decided to try talking first. "Adam, I'm sorry about the Apple incident, but-" he barely got his arms up in time to block the punch Adam threw at him, which tossed him clean out of his mansion anyway. He skipped like a stone, deliberately drawing Adam out of Pentagram City. He crashed through a few buildings, but nothing the city hadn't seen before. He was on his feet when Adam caught up, less than a second after he skidded to a stop.

"You're 'sorry?'" Adam seethed, the red in his eyes making it hard to tell that they seemed to be going bloodshot from rage. "Sorry doesn't cut it Serpent." he hissed as if he'd spoken a vile curse.

His arms were a little sore, but nothing serious, so he tried again. "What do you want me to say? I'd go back an undo it if I could, but I can't. Even God can't, and he tried!"

"If you're truly sorry, then you'll tell me where Eve is." Adam offered. Lucifer could tell it was a lie. He was only trying to get the information out of him so he could kill Lucifer without having to worry about wringing it out of him first.

Lucifer sighed, and asked him a question. "Do you honestly believe the Archangels would have told me? I don't know."

Adam narrowed his eyes, clearly seeing what he expected to see: a self-serving lie. "So that's how it's going to be."

"Why don't you go back up to Heaven and ask your buddies? Or are you afraid I'm telling the truth?" Perhaps it was unwise to needle him, but Adam hadn't been one for self-reflection in thousands of years.

He was answered with another haymaker, though this time Lucifer ducked under it and then sprung up into an uppercut. He made no move to followup. "Look man, I really don't know where she is. Throttling the life out of me won't fix-" Adam shot down and Lucifer barely dodged the punch, contributing a kick as Adam passed by. If Adam was determined to be unreasonable, then he'd just repeat what he did at the Hotel: beat Adam down until he couldn't fight any more, and then make him listen. Granted, it didn't work the first time, but he had a lot more sway over himself and the Sins. Hopefully this was resolved before Charlie got involved. She was stronger than any of the Sins would ever be without training a day in her life, but she had the murderous instincts of a bagel. She got her ass kicked when she was stronger than Adam, this version would crush her out of hand if Lucifer let him.

The kick sent Adam plowing through the dirt for a moment, before he did a handstand back into an upright position, barely the worse for wear. "You seem stronger than I remember." Adam observed, a touch of dark humor in his voice that Lucifer didn't quite understand.

"Well, it's been ten thousand years. I certainly haven't been doing much ruling over your descendants down here." he admitted with some dark humor of his own.

"Those are not my descendants." Adam noted coldly, then rushed him with a flurry of blows. Lucifer didn't bother with anything fancy after that lady's warning, just exploded with a burst of flames that glassed the uninhabited area they'd come to. The flames licked at Adam without doing much beyond cosmetic damage, but he was forced back, at which point Lucifer wound up with the sword he'd been gifted. Adam jerked out of the way, the stab in the shoulder Lucifer had been aiming for reduced to a shallow cut.

Adam took advantage of Lucifer being out of position to knock him out of the sky and then follow up with a flurry of blows again, and Lucifer was more than a little shocked when the sheer force behind them started cracking the Ring beneath them, making him a hair too slow to avoid getting smacked down to Wrath, though he managed a parting shot with his new sword that nearly cut off the responsible fist, and definitely severed some of the tendons, based on how it wasn't clenching properly. Angelic healing would take care of that, but not swiftly. Satan was waiting, looking like a metallic dragon belching smoke and flame from everywhere. The scales were actually glowing from the heat, though Lucifer barely felt it.

"Adam. This is neither Earth, nor Heaven, nor the annual Extermination Heaven forced on us. Leave and you will be spared further harm." Satan spoke calmly. Clearly this benefactor of theirs was a fast worker.

"My quarrel is with the Serpent. I have no interest in you." Adam claimed.

Satan merely glanced upwards at the hole in one of the Rings of Hell in a deliberate manner then back down at Adam.

Lucifer had more to say. "Is that what you're telling yourself? I'm sure the Sinners would take great comfort in that."

"I told you before-" Adam launched himself at Lucifer, only for Satan to interpose himself between Adam and his king, and Adam hissed as even a moment's contact scalded his fists. The damage to his wrist hadn't been repaired yet, and now it was happening even slower as he had more wounds to heal.

"Isn't murder supposed to be a Sin? Oh, but it's fine when Angels do it right? As long as it's for the Greater Good, but they don't care to hear about any alternatives to just killing them all. The only difference between me and Heaven I can see is how sanctimonious I am about my hypocrisy." Lucifer scowled as he matched Adam's kick with one of his own, beginning to grow frustrated with Adam.

"The sheer joy they take in slaughtering the helpless makes me wonder if they don't want there to be an alternative." Satan agreed, lashing out at Adam with his own leg, inflicting a nasty-looking burn when Adam, caught between the two, elected to block with his forearm.

Lucifer shrugged as Adam took a moment to recover. "Wouldn't surprise me. Michael's wanted me dead since I shacked up with Lilith. I honestly think she has some kind of fucked up complex about me sometimes. She goes on and on about Lilith being a whore every time we're forced to talk."

"...Would explain some things." Satan admitted.

"ENOUGH!" Adam screamed out as they all but ignored him in favor of their own conversation, pulling back his fist in a manner that screamed danger to Lucifer. The Sins of Wrath and Pride alike were already moving when the Original Man called out "God's True Right!" and even though they dodged the worst of the strike, the overpressure still buffeted them enough that they couldn't get out of the way of his followup kick. "God's True Left!" smashed into them, sending them plowing into the Ring for a solid ten seconds before they hit some unknown threshold and smashed into the next Ring.

Bee was in a prismatic outfit that complemented her hair and lava lamp-looking stomach, though it wasn't the armor he and Satan had received, looking more like a mix of a chef's uniform and a gourmand's. She made up for it with superior mobility. She bit down on Adam's arm as he dropped into the Gluttony Ring, and it's Queen twisted him as she threw him in a manner that would have ripped the lower arm off of a lesser angel. With Adam, his arm was clearly in no fit state for fighting, but it was still attached. Unfortunately for them, that was his left hand. "God's True Right!" he called out again, and Bee instinctively turned herself into honey to avoid the worst of it. It still clearly hurt her, but not too badly.

"Shit." she muttered. Satan all but hard countered that particular trick, as honey didn't do well with extreme heat, but it was definitely a problem for everyone else. On the bright side, using that attack again had left Adam panting hard, his eyes now getting bloodshot for a different reason.

Adam was confused at how much strain using Zeus' moves had put him under. It wasn't dangerous yet, but if this kept up he might not able to use either Sky Eater or The Fist That Surpassed Time without passing out. He must not have recovered properly from dying yet. He needed to be more careful, but Zeus' moves were the only things that had caused the Sins any significant harm, nevermind the Serpent. The move he just copied was defensive, and Sky Eater had killed the Valkyrie it was performed with, so he doubted that would be less hard on his body. They were obviously being careful of Divine Reflection, so he couldn't count on them giving him actual Techniques to work with either. The damage he was taking was putting more strain on his body too, just like with Zeus. Even Zeus hadn't done as much damage with one blow as Beelzebub had. Wait... wasn't Beelzebub- Later. He'd worry about that later.

For now, he'd engage with their ridiculous conversation about Heaven's hypocrisy. He frowned internally. That didn't seem right. He knew Heaven was hypocritical. Ragnarok proved that. Whatever. Stall now. Then fight. Then deal with this.

"I am only here for my wife. I'm not interested in fighting the rest of you." he attempted the same tactic as he had with Satan, not expecting it to work, but he needed to at least be able to make a fist with both hands, or he'd be in serious trouble.

"Right, because if it was just me you'd have a better chance of winning." Lucifer scoffed, thoroughly done with this idiot. He wasn't the one who kept attacking them despite plenty of chances to just stop and go home.

"We don't know where she is." Bee was obviously confused. "It's been ten thousand years. Why are asking about her now?"

Adam froze. That... that couldn't be right. He wouldn't have left Eve for that long. He couldn't have been dead for that long. No, he knew he wasn't. But... the bee-hound hybrid Sin seemed genuinely baffled. If it was the Serpent, that would be one thing. He couldn't trust a word out of Pride's mouth, and Wrath was clearly loyal to Lucifer. No. No, the Serpent probably hadn't told them so he could keep his servants loyal. Even they might be disgusted if they knew what he did.

"You really expect me to believe you didn't keep tabs on her at all?" Adam growled out.

"Again, do you actually believe Heaven would have let me, even if I'd wanted to?" Lucifer asked, growing increasingly exasperated as Adam proved just as stubborn as he had before coming back. He sighed. "This isn't getting anywhere. Let's just beat him to the point he can't fight any more and chuck him up to Heaven. Then he won't have an excuse not to ask them why they hid his wife from him for ten thousand years on his hospital bed."

"I couldn't agree more, your highness." Satan cracked his knuckles, the glow from the heat brightening to the point the ground beneath his feet bubbled.

"Fine by me. He's not listening to anything but what's already in his head anyway." Bee shrugged.

Realizing he was out of time, Adam launched a God's True Left at the Serpent while a God's True Right lashed out at Beelzebub. Turning into honey limited the damage Satan inflicted with his counter-strike, but didn't stop it. Figured. Even when he copied abilities from the Sins, Hell couldn't do anything right.

The honey ability was at least more effective against the Serpent and Beelzebub's responses. The former attempting to slice up his leg even as he was launched away from the fight for the moment, only managing a slight perturbation of his arm in it's honey form. The latter seemed to realize something, and while she seemed to go for a normal punch, when he turned to honey, she did the same, and it hit like a regular punch would have. He should have realized that this trick wouldn't work properly against it's original user. Perhaps he should've waited until he healed up first. Nothing for it now. They'd be more prepared the next time. Besides, for whatever reason, it was a little easier to use God's True Right and Left each time. The issue was that he was suffering from building strain.

Lucifer was scowling as he flew back, his sword alight with flames. No technique, no fancy bells or whistles, just raw mystical force, as that strange woman had advised. Honestly, this was more Michael's wheelhouse than his, even from the very beginning. You want something finicky with lost of moving parts? You asked him. He had a hand in the base blueprint they still used as a template for every galaxy and star system to this day. You want to hit someone really hard? You ask Michael. Even when he'd had Progress, that had been true. Still, even a weakened Archangel could manage something like this. Between Satan's heat and Bee's ability to bypass it making turning into honey a gamble for Adam, he was distracted, and taking more and more damage. So Adam reacted just a little too slow when Lucifer slammed into him like a diving falcon, flaming sword piercing the First Man's shoulder.

This time it was Adam who got smacked into the next Ring of Hell. He took it a little worse than Lucifer had, but better than Satan, despite his injuries. Lilith appearing to drive her heel into his good hand didn't improve his position, dragging a muffled cry of pain from him.

"Lili?" Lucifer asked, not believing his eyes.

"I don't appreciate Heaven attempting to assassinate my husband." was all the explanation she offered. She was dressed in black armor. Clearly complementary to his own. Apparently, their benefactor had found her. Considering Mammon wasn't here, he couldn't help but wonder if Lilith's presence and Mammon's absence were connected. But that could wait.

"It's good to have you back with us, my lady. Shall we finish teaching your ex-husband a lesson before we send him home in a full-body cast?" Satan asked rhetorically.

Adam found the strength to grab her leg and briefly managed to ragdoll the queen of Hell before Bee's strike at the same time as Lilith clawed at him forced him to let go or get a gob of flesh torn off. Lucifer hammered into him a split second after he let go of Lilith, driving him into the ground despite his honey form, though he was back up an instant later, only for Lilith, Bee, and Satan to hammer him back down again. Lucifer used the pit he'd been forced to dig as an impromptu oven, blasting it with flames alongside Satan. This time, Adam smashed into the Lust Ring to avoid the attack. It took them a few seconds to realize he wasn't there.

They swiftly followed him down, where he was panting, clearly suffering mild burns across his body, and favoring his left arm, which didn't seem to have recovered significantly from when Lilith stabbed it. His healing was working on too many injuries at once to heal anything that wasn't immediately dangerous quickly.

"Had enough?" Lucifer asked. "Because I can send you back to Heaven right now." He was so tired of Heaven's bullshit. They let the Exterminators target his daughter, in direct violation of the treaty, and now they have the gall to let Adam off the leash again? What did they even do to him? He clearly wasn't all there, asking about Eve after all this time. Or... had something been undone when he'd died? Something to ask them later when he was carting Adam's half-dead body to those fool's gold gates.

"Not leaving. Until. I find. Eve." Adam gasped out.

"Yes, yes. Your perfect wife. Who let Roo eat your children. We didn't have anything to do with that part. That's on her." Lilith stated acridly.

Adam, too furious to speak, aimed a God's True Right directly at her face, then found himself grabbed by the leg and slammed down by Ozzie. "Dude. Just go home. The only way you're winning is if some of your buddies show up to help you, and we all know that Michael's the only one who'd be willing to come down here." he told the First Man off. He ate a God's True Left for his trouble, flung halfway across the Ring as Adam picked himself up, very obviously even worse off than before.

"I think dying's made him even more stubborn." Lucifer groaned out, flames erupting from his sword again.

"I didn't think that was possible." Lilith muttered as she took out a rapier, which hummed ominously.

"I almost feel bad for him." Bee commented.

"No one's forcing him to be here." Satan replied grimly.

It was Asmodeus who started things off this time, a wall of blue flames erupting behind Adam, which Satan immediately contributed his own to, forcing the First Man to throw himself into the sky, where Lucifer and Bee were waiting for him. Ozzie was dressed in furs, giving him the vibe of a barbarian king. Something he was sure Fizzarolli would appreciate.

"Heaven pulling it's usual bullshit?" He asked rhetorically, approaching through his own flames like they weren't there.

"They're too used to being able to do whatever they want without any consequences. This guy is just the most obvious outgrowth of that." Lucifer answered.

"I don't know why we expect any better at this point." Satan grumbled.

Bee and Lucifer juggled him for a bit, then sent Adam crashing through Lust, down to Envy. "They're supposed to be God's favored. Why shouldn't we expect better?" she huffed before flying down after him.

Adam was already being harassed by Leviathan when they arrived, the ocean almost appearing to boil as it grasped at him even when he was above the surface. Leviathan's outfit looked like a dragoon's. Lucifer got the impression it was more about blocking Seth than directly enhancing Leviathan, but it seemed to do the job anyway.

Looking even worse than before, but refusing to give up, Adam decided to pull out of one of his trump cards. "Sky Eater." he stated with eerie calm, generating a copy of the spear Lu Bu had wielded, which he smashed into the ocean below him, all but obliterating the section of Envy beneath him and grievously injuring Leviathan, who was caught by Bee and escorted away from the center of the battle even as Lucifer and Lilith retaliated. If he tried using that again, he'd probably start coughing up blood. He wasn't sure he could handle a third time in his current condition, but he definitely wouldn't be able to muster a fourth. It didn't help that the spear disintegrated each time he did that.

With the Ring already shattered beneath him, it didn't take long before he was smacked down to Sloth.

2 Rings down, Roo was irritated at the interloper for weighting the scales against Adam, but at the same time, she was proud of him for persevering despite the odds being so heavily tilted against him.

*** Meanwhile, Back On Pride ***

Charlie didn't quite know what hit them at first, but she got up from the trench they'd carved with a groan. Yep. Definitely a bruised rib. She'd probably have broken something if that happened yesterday. The imposing presence of an Angel that felt a little like her father tapped her spear on the ground once to draw Charlie's attention.

"Hello, daughter of the whore and First Fallen." the Angel sort of looked like a much older Vaggie to Charlie's eyes. "I am the Taxiarch, Michael, Regent of Heaven in our Lord Father's absence."

"She shouldn't have been able to get up after that hit. Something's up." Lute commented, eyeing them suspiciously from the other direction.

"Agreed. That would have been rough even for your father, Nephilim, nevermind yourself. What have you done?" Michael asked imperiously.

Charlie's partner wasn't inclined to tell Heaven anything useful. "We got new outfits." Vaggie was clearly terrified of this angel, which raised Charlie's ire and fear as well, but she tried to be brave for Charlie, her spear at the ready. It helped that she hadn't technically lied just now.

"Uh, aunt Michael-" Charlie got the distinct impression she'd made a mistake at the expression on Michael's face an instant before she barely got her trident up in time to avoid getting skewered by Michael's spear. Vaggie tried to intervene, only to get tackled by Lute. Charlie couldn't see what was happening well, but she didn't get the impression Lute was winning. That Lady C person wasn't kidding about these clothes giving a boost.

"Hm, it seems Lucifer has been giving you some lessons since Adam fell in the recent Extermination. He must have anticipated trouble." she shrugged. "It matters not. You're coming with me. And you most definitely aren't intervening in Adam's retribution."

"Man, everyone in Heaven simps for him." the words spilled out before Charlie could stop them. Michael easily slipped out of the blade lock and punched Charlie in the throat, sending her skidding back. Charlie gasped for breath.

"Do not speak of the First Man that way." Michael intoned with eerie calm.

"I mean, if you really want him that badly, maybe try talking to him? I think you'd need to get past Lute first though." Charlie was stalling, too distracted by Vaggie's fight with Lute to focus, which almost got her stabbed in the eye, as she barely deflected the strike aimed directly at her face.

"You should worry more about yourself right now." Michael chided, almost gently. "I'm going to slay those who helped you slaughter the Exorcists and Adam either way."

"Overlord of Cannibal Town called Rosie and some ballerina bitch called Carmilla who reforges Angelic Steel for the Sinners!" Lute called out, more than happy to take a moment out of even a losing fight to hurt Charlie and take revenge by proxy. She paid for it with a blow to the face that cost her several teeth.

"I should've killed you when I had the chance!" Vaggie snarled as Michael shoved Charlie back and gathered holy light to her spear. Charlie moved faster than she ever had before, one arm turning crimson and draconic as she thrust her trident against the spear as hard as she could, fouling the aim of the attack such that it completely missed Rosie's domain, and forcing a grunt out of Michael, whose knuckles were bloodied from the sheer force behind the blow.

"Can't we talk about this? I didn't want Adam dead!" Charlie tried to reason with Michael. The latter stood unmoved.

"And yet he died all the same."

"I got Dad to spare him! He spat on it, and Niffty stabbed him in the back while he was ranting about how the Sinners should worship him!"

"They should." Michael said simply, and Charlie gaped at her.

"...You really believe that? That the Sinners should worship someone who leads murderous hordes down to slaughter them every year?"

"He's the First Man." Michael answered, as if that was reason enough. "He was meant to be King of Earth, and that includes his descendants. Moreover, he was made in God's image. Even we Angels owe him our fealty."

"...I'm starting to understand how he got such a huge head." Charlie muttered, expecting the blow Michael responded to that comment with and blocking it.

"We have divine ordainment. If we had done anything to go against God's will, we would have Fallen." Michael stated.

"And now I'm starting to understand Uncle Satan and the others." Charlie admitted. At Michael's raised eyebrow, she continued. "A God who not only accepts genocide but approves of it and actively squashing anyone trying to make things better... I can't imagine following a God like that."

Michael growled. "It's Lucifer's fault. None of this would be necessary if not for him!"

"Was Adam attacking the Hotel necessary?"

Rather than answer her, Michael swept her spear in a circular motion. Charlie blinked then found Michael in a different position, slamming her spear into Charlile's gut. While the wound was shallow, and after the fight with Adam she was quite familiar with pain, she wasn't so used to it that she could ignore the natural instinct that came with getting hit: to hit back. Her return strike smashed Michael through 6 buildings, specifically their foundations, and Charlie was forced to rush over if she didn't want to risk Michael killing Carmilla and Rosie unopposed.

Michael was already on her feet when Charlie arrived. Not bothering with words, she moved her spear in a circular motion again, and Charlie once again found Michael in a different spot, and once again, the same exchange played out. Charlie taking another minor wound while Michael got smashed through half a city block for her trouble. That wasn't teleporting. She'd seen Mammon do it enough times to know that. Was Michael... messing with time? That made the most sense, but what was she supposed to do with that?

This time, Michael moved her spear in a more complicated pattern, and Charlie experienced the curious sight of 'time clones' of Michael. Two Michaels hit her at once, only for the one she lashed out at on instinct to vanish as if she'd never been.

"Please! I don't want to fight you!" Charlie pleaded. Michael was definitely injured worse than Charlie at this point, despite her tricks with time, and those had to be more draining than fighting normally like Charlie was.

"You should never have been born in the first place. You shouldn't 'want' anything." Michael spat out, and took advantage of Charlie's momentary shock and hurt at the sheer vitriol to sweep her legs and attempt to skewer her. Both viewed it with some consternation when it broke the skin, but didn't get much farther than that.

"I seem to have underestimated the blasphemy of your existence." Michael noted coolly, as if Charlie had somehow transgressed in not getting stabbed harder.

"What." Charlie ripped the spear out with one hand. "Are you." she smashed her trident into the spear right where the head and shaft connected. She wasn't a weaponsmith, but she'd picked up some things from Carmilla, and secondhand from what Vaggie had picked up. That should be where the spear was weakest. Sure enough, it visibly deformed. "TALKING ABOUT?!"

Michael's eyes widened, and she drew away. "How did you...?" she seemed too shocked to be angry.

Charlie's patience had run out. "I'm sick of this! Heaven comes down to Hell, slaughters my people, actively crushes any alternatives to the Exterminations, and then, and then, you all have the gall to act as if we're the ones in the wrong! Newsflash! Most of the people down here don't give a shit about Heaven! If you Angels stayed up there, none of you would have died!"

Michael recovered enough to respond. "An Overlord who collects enough souls can become an Archfiend, able to attack Earth. That, alongside the original Nephilim, is what prompted the Great Flood."

Charlie hadn't known that, and under other circumstances, it might have given her pause. As it was, she just huffed. "You know why the Sinners were able to attack Earth?"

Michael rolled her eyes. "Because they're monstrous and take joy in tormenting the weak."

Charlie barely suppressed a snarl. "Well Heaven would know all about that, right? Overlords can't even hurt an Angel without Angelic Steel, and the Exorcists mostly love their jobs." Except for one.

Michael didn't seem to care. "That doesn't change the fact that they can still reach Earth and harm the living."

"Ignoring, for a moment, that every Sinner was a living human once, the reason Sinners run rampant in Pride is that, until recently, Dad didn't give a shit about what they did. He certainly didn't lead them to attack Earth, did he?"

Michael paused. "Well, he never lead any forces against us, but surely the King of Hell-"

Charlie actually let out a surprisingly bitter laugh. "If I had the kind of power you seem to think we have over the Sinners, Angel Dust wouldn't still be under Valentino's contract. They only attacked Earth because Dad. Didn't. Care. He's never forced anyone to do anything. Why would he stop them? He was putting down my project because he thought humans were unsalvageable a couple months ago."

Michael actually seemed to think about that for a moment, before her gaze hardened again. "Hmph. A king in name only? Fitting, I suppose. Still, it changes little."

"If this is the standard for not-Falling, I think I'm starting to get how Vaggie got kicked out for not wanting to murder people any more." Charlie grumbled.

Michael didn't deign to answer her this time either. Stepping up her game with another time clone compared to last time. The blow didn't hurt Charlie much, but she couldn't hit back like this. That's when Michael froze as a spear sliced into her side. It was barely even breaking the skin, but the sheer audacity of a former Exorcist to strike at her seemed to stupefy her.

"Sorry I took so long Charlie. Lute's as hard-headed as I remember." Vaggie reported, glaring at the Archangel, fury overriding fear when she noticed Charlie's wounds.

"My aunt is too, guess it's just a thing with Heaven." Charlie replied, which snapped Michael out of her stupor.

"You are no niece of mine." she snarled, throwing Vaggie off and attempting to shish-kebab her, which prompted an even more extreme reaction from Charlie than Michael's attempts on Rosie and Carmilla's lives, and she briefly took on a full version of her draconic arm, wings sprouting from her back to give her extra force as she smashed into Michael hard enough to smash her into the Wrath Ring. Charlie came down like a bolt of lightning, trying to break Michael's spear in hopes that she'd be forced to go home and leave Hell alone. The spear visibly bent, and Michael punished the attempt with a vicious axe kick, but she glanced worriedly at her spear's deteriorating condition.

"I've had just about enough of your attitude. I just wanted to redeem the Sinners. If they're redeemed, they stop being a threat to Heaven. If you want to reduce the population by any means, non-violent means should be free game! It's less dangerous for you than the Exterminations anyway! Having Hell's own princess helping you should be great news! But at every turn, Heaven's either denied me, set me up to fail, or tried to sabotage me as directly as possible! So you know what? I don't believe you. It's not about the Archfiends, you all just get off on hurting people who can't fight back, and you're going to have to convince me otherwise!" Charlie declared.

"What right have you to judge-!"

"I live in Hell! You think I don't know what a sadist looks like?!" Charlie yelled back. "If you try and pull out some line about how Angels don't make mistakes, I swear to God-"

"Angels make mistakes, but we haven't." Michael affirmed.

"If Angels have made mistakes before, that means Angels as a whole can make mistakes. Which means that you can make mistakes. And anyone who tries to tell me they've never made a mistake is lying. Either to me, or to themselves. And I'm starting to think you're the latter. Adam seemed like it. He doubted himself for a second during the trial, and Sera reassured him he was in the right. So I think what's going on is that you're all living in an echo chamber that can justify anything as long as you don't Fall from it immediately." Charlie tried to reason out her thought process, but it was increasingly obvious her words were falling on deaf ears.

It became clear Michael had simply been stalling when her spear shone with blinding light for a moment before returning to prime condition, and then Charlie was struck from five directions at once. Michael actually exhaled from the effort there, and none of the hits were deep. Vaggie took the opportunity to stab Michael's lowermost right wing where it met her back. It barely did any damage, but it completely destroyed Michael's focus, allowing Charlie to smash her trident directly into Michael's hand. The one holding her spear.

It didn't make Michael drop it or anything, but the simple realities of having a giant hole in your hand meant that she wasn't wielding the spear as well when she responded with 5 time clones again, which meant Charlie actually managed to block one of the clones. Michael actually had to take a few breaths this time. As Charlie thought, she couldn't just spam that.

"The time for talking has passed." Michael commented. As if she hadn't already lost control of the situation. As if she weren't the aggressor here.

"Dad was right. Heaven never listens." Charlie scowled.

They clashed again, and again, but for whatever reason, Michael didn't seem to be using anything other than her time clone trick. Charlie wasn't bleeding more than the wounds she'd taken should or anything. So as far as she could tell, Michael was just using a regular spear as far as attacks went. Vaggie was barely able to hurt Michael, but chipping away at her hands, feet, and wings was steadily hampering Michael's movement. She seemed to have gotten the memo that they were fighting to disable, not to kill.

"How... are you... doing this?" Michael panted. Her spear had nearly broken in two places, and her feet and hands were mangled messes. One of her wings was nearly severed from Vaggie repeatedly sawing at it. She wasn't out of the fight by any means, but Charlie was comparatively untouched, many of her oldest wounds having sealed entirely already, and she'd made sure Michael never had an opportunity to target Vaggie in retaliation before Charlie hit her.

"I had a light lunch." Charlie deadpanned, not interested in this conversation any more. They could talk when Michael was willing to actually listen. Though she'd be asking her father about the Archfiends and Nephilim later.

Growling, Michael was about to launch herself at Charlie again, when a golden portal opened and Sera came into view with another Angel similar to the pair in both stature and power. "Adam's in the infirmary!" Sera called out, taking in Michael's state and glaring at Charlie.

Charlie frowned back. "Hey, she attacked me in my kingdom, and I tried talking to her first. It's not my fault she wouldn't listen."

"This is not over, daughter of the whore and Fallen." Michael said stiffly, walking backwards to the portal, so she could keep an eye on Charlie, who made no move to pursue even as Vaggie glared at the Taxiarch.

"I'd be happy to talk, when you're ready to listen." Charlie sighed as that simply deepened the scowl on Michael's face before she entered the portal and it closed behind her.

"...Hey, what happened to Lute?" Charlie asked, trying to get her mind off of... that.

Vaggie shrugged. "She was half-dead last I saw. I came to help you as soon as I was sure she wasn't able to follow. To be honest, after sparing her once and having Heaven pull this shit, I don't really care much either way."

Charlie frowned, but let it slide. "We should go see how Dad and the others are. It sounds like they won but..." she gestured to herself and the injuries she'd sustained, which were still healing up.

"I'm worried that more Archangels will come next time." Vaggie confessed. "I'm honestly amazed we did this well against her. I think a lot of the stuff she was trying except that time trick just kind of fizzled out on you, and she couldn't do anything to me without worrying about getting a trident to the face. If there's more than one..."

"Oh, not to worry." the helpful figure from before, Lady C, stepped forward. She whapped them with some food items. "There's a bigger gap between the you of now and five minutes ago then there is of the you from five minutes ago and yesterday." she explained.

"Wait, why didn't you do that in the first place?!" Vaggie asked, visibly frustrated.

"Well, in my experience, it's demoralizing for someone when they get beaten, but it's infinitely more demoralizing if you beat someone, they do a training arc, and then when they come back for a rematch, they find the gap's only gotten wider. Adam's about to get another enormous powerup, but he'll only be able to use enough of it to jump about as far from how he was today as you guys did just now, and the Archangels can't get any stronger than they are now, excepting Emily, who's about as trained as you are. Speaking of which, you might want to do a little training on the side, just in case. Vaggie's ultimate potential is about the same as Lucifer's, since she was made from one of Michael's feathers, but yours is just about unlimited. Be good to have a trump card in case Adam gets desperate enough to go full Demiurge. Just in case he's already that desperate..." she tossed a set of 7 gemstones to Charlie. "Chaos Emeralds. They could let yesterday's Vaggie fight a Sin in Super, or ragdoll all the Archangels at once in Hyper, nevermind you. Might want to train with those too. That should force Heaven to come to the table, since they can't just brute force the problem. Michael's not good at anything but brute-forcing things, the delicate stuff was supposed to be Lucifer's department."

"I don't know how to thank you for the warning and the help, but how come you didn't fight yourself?" Charlie asked, genuinely curious, rather than accusatory.

"As a rule, I only intervene directly if a universe's God needs a lesson in humility or..." she shrugged nonchalantly. "well, sometimes a little more than a beating is necessary is someone absolutely refuses to stop abusing their power over others."

The pair stared at her, wide-eyed. "Welp!" Lady C clapped her hands. "I'm going to go give the Sins who bothered to help and your parents the same kind of buff. You're welcome for finding Lilith, by the by. We probably won't see each other again, but good luck!" she waved goodbye, vanishing as swiftly as she'd appeared.

"Wait- MOM!" Charlie grabbed Vaggie and started flying down the holes the fight with Adam had left, able to fly freely now that her wings had come out at all.

AN: One of the various timelines C is messing with on the side. Gonna be a series of these. Figured I should give you guys something to chew on while you wait for the actual story.

It should be noted that Revived Adam is an amalgamation of both Adams at their worst. Michael is using Progression and Stability to influence time in a manner similar to Chaos Control. She's been trying to make Charlie's wound gush blood in a similar manner, but 60% reduction in the effects of blood loss and 60% reduction in the effects of Holy powers in the first place have made that largely futile. Adam's Divine Reflection gives him special techniques from back in RoR, and the Sins have to be careful not to use their own, meaning that even with the buff C's given them, they're operating with a handicap, while Adam can spike with stuff like the God's True moves, Sky Eater, and The Fist That Surpassed Time. Hence Revived Adam being a serious threat to Partially Sealed Roo despite being exhausted and ostensibly weaker even when at full health. Michael has only one opponent strong enough to hurt her, but no such advantages, and has to conserve stamina in case she needs to apply an emergency seal on Roo. Supposedly AFW's version of God is compassionate and understanding, but he's not around much. Like an absent parent whose kids start acting out because no one can set reasonable boundaries. The issue is, that makes the Exorcists and the Archangels the representatives of Heaven denizens of Earth or Hell are likely to meet, and they're as fucked up as Lucifer in their own ways in the former case, and do I need to explain the latter case? So a very poor impression. Emily's probably one of the best Angels in Heaven, and even she's not immune to the toxic influences around her.

Next IF, is probably writing about Lady C going loud by jamming more Rings onto Hell until it reaches(currently) 136. Both proper Sins and what would ordinarily be Virtues. The main 7, extras like Vainglory and Melancholy, the Fate Evils of Man, the Horsemen, etc. and their Heavenly counterparts, under the logic that Heaven considers obedience of greater value than Mercy. To the point Vaggie is truly Fallen. Therefore, anything can be a Sin.

A DBZ-esque timeline where C shows up right as Charlie and Vaggie get smacked down by Michael, heals them with a Goku Black-style Zenkai thrown in, and adds a Guru-style Potential Unlock for good measure, sticking around for fight commentary. Charlie nearly one-shots Michael, leaving Vaggie to deal with Lute while she helps Lucifer. Vaggie takes down Lute with ease, but then a weakened Michael shows up. Vaggie takes advantage of Michael's battered state to rip Stagnation out(she's one of Michael's Feathers, after all) in order to weaken her further and beat her down. Charlie shows up with an unconscious Adam, throws him at Michael, and rips Progress out of her in hopes of using it to help heal Lucifer, before telling them to get out of her kingdom and chucking them through a portal, with Lute being tossed in after them. C hands off a set of Potara Earrings with instructions to use them if they still weren't strong enough to deal with Heaven's nonsense, and how they worked. Potara Fusion with these buffs could contest Roo at full strength. Probably lose, but not quickly.

Then there's Time Rewound, which essentially makes Hyper Charlie and Hyper Vaggie their new Base forms, such that Rewound Vaggie(100 million) is the most powerful thing in the setting outside God, Roo, Demiurge Adam, or Rewound Charlie(600 million-60 billion, depending on the form) though I'm debating whether to make it 'C whapped them with Chaos Emeralds and sent them back about five minutes' or 'C Rewound a genuine article Bad Future' and I'm leaning towards the latter right now since that can include Emily.

Creation and Destruction, where she pulls a King Multiverse and brings in alternate Charlies. Glitch can skip straight to manifesting the strings/chains that normally indicate ownership of a soul and turning them into puppets on a string. She normally uses it to try and hold decaying universes together long enough to evacuate them, but she's willing to make an exception for Michael and Lute. Paint, meanwhile, lacks a soul, so Adam's direct strikes on the soul/core don't really do much beyond the cosmetic damage his conventional punches manage. Fatal Error can outright copy people, including their stuff. Such as the Sephirot. So she just starts Copying the Progress and Stagnation Sephirot in Michael and handing them out like candy(Vaggie gets a copy of Stagnation, Charlie and Lucifer get copies of Progress, possibly giving Lilith a copy of either or both) because she can tell Michael hasn't slept in ten thousand years and thinks that the simplest solution is to just make more holders for the Sephirot so she doesn't have to maintain them by herself.
