Do you honestly think there is anyone in those intervening times who think they can court a Supreme guardian? Remember the Supreme Guardian is basically the entire reason why Belobog even came to existence in the first place. Barring Cocolia and Serval. We see no hint this if at all. Perhaps the adoption process was a way to secure power through one person and to keep the administration relatively clean until that one man bypassed it pf course with Cyrille.

I agree the succession by adoption was likely to prevent power from falling into the hands of one person and/or family. I mean look at the time of the Five Great Roman Emperors, succession by adoption had been working well.


But given the sorry state the population sometimes finds itself in I do find it hard to believe every Supreme Guardian didn't have a relationship with someone, some could've been akin to Serval and Cocodia, while I imagine there might've been one or two, but I am sure there were laws and safe guards in place that if a Supreme Guardian had a child she would be disqualified from succeeding her mother and such, likely being offered up for adoption or something.

Understatement of the century, and since she's older now I am imaging scenes where she might play the responsible adult to the young flame chasers XD.

So about Bronya Rand and Lelouch as a couple, I got some ideas for it, but I am not in a good place to share. But what are your thoughts on it with those potential issues in mind.

Ah ok, I had mentioned my concern about potential conflicts with the time Lelouch will spend between Belobog and the two Earths once the story reaches that stage.

Here is my expected time to events, subject to change.

Spoiler: Timeline of story events, possible spoilers

Aug 11 2010 - Lelouch and Nunnally become Herrschers and Japan is invaded by Britannia, Sirin having been revived awakens prematurely.

Aug 14 2010 - The group is sent to a research station in orbit over Belobog, a world isolated from the wider universe due to the Stellaron.

Aug 16 - Urged on by Mobius and Elysia, Lelouch attempts to use his powers to take them to a research base, only missing the mark by a long margin. However they rescue a group of cadets under attack by monsters of the Fragmentum.

Aug 17 - Lelouch, Bronya Rand and others find the remains of who is later revealed to be Cyrille Rand, which triggers the group meeting a child soon afterwards.

Timeskip

2015 - Lelouch visits the Xianzhou Luofu, how this happens I am debating. He begins attending Ashford Academy on Earth along with the others.

2016 - Lelouch gets tangled up in the Honkai Eruption of Nagazora City, after escaping Ashford Academy following the Honkai eruption at the academy caused by Nina's awakening as the Herrscher of Reason. By the end Lelouch, reluctantly ends up attending St. Freya Academy.

Some details would be dependent on how events end up playing out and if I'll go ahead with Kiana and Siegfried being recovered by Nathaniel per his agreement with a newly resurrected Cecila.

Lelouch will visit the Luofu and Belobog, especially when Milly has weird events planned or doesn't feel like attending class XD

Speaking of Cyrille Rand, I had contemplated the idea she would've been resurrected, mostly as an experiment by Nathaniel when he learns about how self aware the one encountered in the Fragmentum was to the point she could be considered her ghost with considerations to make her a harem candidate, mostly as a back up.

Also I decided on a part two for the Honkai Star Rail harem candidates, mostly determining any potential backups or alternatives depending on how the story plays out. But also verifying some, like Dan Shu, to determine if people won't take issue with her in the harem.

Also I wanted to ask about the characters, Wendy, Lin and Yuna. I am contemplating ideas for the latter, but also wonder if any of them could work as good harem candidates?

Yeah the examiners would be bribed and/or under her grandfather's payroll. At least until Otto considers using her as a test subject.

Anything else regarding Lin might depend on if I plan to include her in Lelouch harem or not, but upon discovery her grandfather would have Lin taken and brought I join the others much to her outrage, including what her grandfather did to her without her consent.

She would likely be an ally.

Yuna, Lelouch might meet her before the Honkai eruption, maybe intervening against the bullies who torment her, but regardless I would expand on her character a bit. I am open to suggestions on background improvements since nothing is set in stone yet.

Wendy I might expand her too.

While I am open to them as harem candidates I am worried readers wouldn't be interested in them, but at the same time they have many blanks that can be filled in, expanded upon and more I could take liberties with.

Cyrille is an interesting choice considering her fate. I am of the opinion the fragmentum recovered her 'feelings' while her body was relatively untouched by it depending on how you treat where it ended up.

Now that I am in front of a computer I can lay out what I have in mind for some of these characters in more detail and respond at the same time.

Yuna, I agree she shows promise and could end up in Nunnally's circle instead. But to answer that question, Mei's school is an all girl's school. I wasn't suggesting Lelouch would attend, but could probably meet her through other means, either by Kiana (since they are in the same class). I am weighing other introduction opportunities, but most feel kinda predictable or too cliched, so I might wait for the story to get closer to that point in the story. That is something I want to avoid, anything that could come off as too cliched or predictable, and why I am asking so many questions on the harem and characters as I want to be one hundred percent sure there will be no cracks or potential issues that could be overlooked since I have gotten way too confident with a story in the past, which has left me prone to mistakes. Especially with characters where there is a lot of blanks to fill in if that makes sense.

Yuna could still be a potential harem candidate for Lelouch, if not a possible back up if needed. I am thinking her home life might be slightly difficult growing up with only her mother and being picked on at school making her something of a recuse, anything else for her character I might decide on how her Herrscher transformation goes, and since there are no actual Herrscher personas I might redo her whole transformation scene, and etc.

Cyrille I thought could be a useful backup option, since she would've been brought back as an experiment by Nathaniel, but with her body modified as well too. In the story Lelouch and company would find a abandoned chest near the base of a steep cliff, finding her remains which had been perfectly preserved by the freezing temperatures and later that following night they would start seeing her "ghost" ultimately leading to them to piece together who she was and what happened to her. I am just not sure if it would work since what fragementum creates might be different from what her resurrected self could be, but would no doubt be open to having a fresh start and probably joins Lelouch's group since he had helped release her from the grip of the Fragementum. Still the biggest question I am wondering, and I am curious if anyone has a different opinion, what could Cyrille bring to the harem and her relationship with Lelouch?

Lin, yeah and while Lin's grandfather, had her changed into a MANTIS for the sake of her wellbeing out of care for her, she would no doubt be made and how she was taken from the life of a Valkyrie she wanted to be, and likely more shocking that Dr. Magi's true superior is a Herrscher too which I am sure would be doozy for her. As for her personality, given how Dr. Magi compared Kiana to her, I might use Kiana as a base of building up her personality expect maybe make her more dutiful and less likely to skip out on class. Everything else I would see where the chips would land, but she would probably join Lelouch's circle of friends and allies, regardless if she ends up as a member of Lelouch's harem or not.

I am only vague on such details for future events in the story since what happens between the current chapter and then may be different from what I've envisioned so I am careful not too set too many things in stone, I like to keep things flexible to avoid being tied down.

Yup, and Lelouch will need all of the help he can get especially after he breaks away from Nathaniel and later maybe forms the Black Knights. I can see her wielding a sword, a rapier in battle, which could make for an interesting weapon Vill-V could make for her. And yes that depressing quest line was impressive and sad, giving me a lot to work with.

On Lin, I am between Otto finding out about her while intending to use her as another test subject for the gem of serenity, or maybe sooner after he gets suspicious which would depend on how soon would Lin be introduced to everyone and Lelouch. As mentioned earlier she would be like Kiana, but considering the rest of her personality Lin would likely be cheerful, confident and dutiful. I could see her scolding Kiana for skipping out on classes and doing the same to Lelouch once they meet. As for weapons she does wield a pistol, so she could follow Kiana in wielding a pair of them. She could be a friend and ally of Lelouch, although the latter's tendency to skip school does cause her to scold him a bit. And there is the possibility of them becoming lovers if she joins the harem, but I do worry some people might not be interested in the pairing given how not very well known her character may be.

However, if I decide to wait until Lin is experimented upon, alternatively I could allow it that due to her MANTIS alterations she adapts and claims the gem of serenity of her own, but that would cause the problem of not leaving Otto with it to awaken the other Sirin within Kiana later.

Also IahIahShipping once you give your own two cents on Lin, I'll probably go into talking about Bella, Galina, Avrora (she's higher on the poll compared to her friends, but below Sirin), Agata, and Wendy.

I'll also touch upon Dark Seele, Eleanor Schariac, Shigure Kira, Cheng Lixue, Patricia Highsmith, Salome Jokanaan , and Shub-Niggurath.

For the Star Rail side I'll be touching upon Qingni (Yukong's adopted daughter since she was deemed too old for Lelouch) too and my reasons for considering her.

Right, and I recall from the latest Honkai Impact recent chapters that aside from Kallen Kaslana, you got people like Cecila Schariac and Siegfried Kaslana who are well known Valkyries for their exploits against Sirin, not sure about Theresa through.

While sadly Shigure Kira lacks any notable fame unfortunately for her, which could be brought up when meeting Salome Jokanaan, Cheng Lixue, Shub-Niggurath, and Patricia Highsmith for comedic effect XD

Lin would probably know all three of the big names, and would fan girl on them.

As for her weapons, a pair of pistols would work better, likely further inspired by seeing Kiana and Kallen using them. Also the weapons Vill-V use never shown any need to reload either so likely creating "cosmoguns" which could hold a million rounds.

Actually we could still say Lin volunteered for it, it's just that Otto and Lin simply didn't inform Dr. Magi until the last minute. Considering his expression leading up to the gem being inserted into her, it's possible that is what happened given Otto's words. Lin likely didn't tell her grandfather about it, knowing he would oppose it and stop her. But an intervention could still happen resulting in a rushed intervention, disguised to make it appear like Anti-Entropy was behind it, especially since Nathaniel can easily reproduce their "walking trash cans they call robots."

Oh that reminds me, outside of Mobius and Dr. Mei, Nathaniel will belittle other scientists like Tesla, Einstein and Herta especially for abandoning her projects so easily resulting in what is going on between Van Hellsing and Dracula.
