is there a way to open all spoilers on a page at once or do you have to do it manually?

No easy built-in way.

If you're on a desktop browser, you can open the web console and type
Code: 
$('button.bbCodeSpoilerButton').click()
, and it'll toggle all spoilers open or closed.
