The Number Man seems to disagree.Contessa can't predict Trigger events, so the "Doormaker and Legend situation" doesn't work.
Worm 29.7 said:"We used to rely on Contessa's power to determine the exact event needed for a second trigger."
Those are some very interesting questions! When Annette teleports, her body is reset to a shard-stored template for a completely healthy, idealized version of herself (though her memories and her mental state are retained). She hasn't noticed yet, but after her first teleport she was in much better shape and de-aged by nearly a decade. Annette's stored template cannot be changed, so she's never going to get a day older than she was when she first triggered. She's shit out of luck if she wants to get stronger by working out or if she wants to get pregnant, though. Teleportation always resets her back to default, which means any new muscles or growing babies that are in her body would mysteriously disappear. You know, Taylor has basically gain the ability to become Batman! Just give her a few months of training, and let her look at some Tinkertech, and she'll be on her way.
I'm wondering what all the limits to Annette's powers are at the moment.
Could her repair power allow her to maintain Tinkertech?
Grant eternal youth?
Can she teleport others without having to teleport herself?
How does her healing handle brain damage when a person is alive?
Can Annette manifest any offensive powers
How will Annette's powers handle pregnancy?

Objects and passengers that tag along during her teleports do not have stored templates; they are reset to an 'perfect' version of themselves that's computed by her shard using 'precog' (Clark-tech computer modeling) to guess with an insanely high degree of accuracy how they should come out. This means that results might be a little different sometimes; and not necessarily 100% consistent, though general rules will always be obeyed. No dead->living or living->dead changes in transit, etc...
Unless it treats it like malign bacteria or something, that's a living -> gone change, it's not the same case but it definitely sets a precedent at least that organisms living inside someone can be vanished. Living -> gone is different from living -> dead too, in both cases they're dead but the former has slightly different conditions to help keep it different. Then wouldn't that technically just make it so say, a significantly developed fetus would come out the other end a healthy infant or something?
And wouldn't no living->dead protect any child?
Actually wouldn't the baby be a separate individual?
And she technically could just go 9 months without teleporting.

Just random thoughts here.

Well, she can become pregnant, just can't carry it to term. So, using a surrogate would be possible. The special rules are only for passengers and carried objects, something that her power wasn't designed to handle in the first place, strictly speaking. Anything that changes with Annette's body, except for her mind and memories, gets reverted back to default. It's not ideal, but them's the breaks. At least she isn't trapped in the body of a child like several other notable "resetting" capes.
And yes, she definitely could just stop using her powers for ten months if she wanted to have another child... but capes can't really do that. They are compelled to use their powers by the alien supercomputers which grant them.
You seem to have some bad fanon in there, like healers being extremely rare. Hatchet face and Jack also died pretty easily, considering Bonesaw's enhancements. Pretty good otherwise. Do you plan on posting it to SB and SV.
He has tons of upgrades by Bonesaw. Also, fanon.Jack died because frankly he's a loud mouthed ass who's brain couldn't process the idea of one of his prey actually saying "fuck it" and biting back...
So instead it got to process his own fucking knives.
No it's not. Similar powers also show up in adopted kids and such, and unless I'm gravely mistaken people know about this. The currently accepted hypothesis was that powers like theirs were genetic.
This makes no sense. Even an average kid her age wouldn't be this clueless. As a supposedely superinteligent thinker with eidetic memory Taylor should know exactely what she's feeling and why. In fact she mentions having a crush on him that he probably returns just before this.We spent a little longer than I had counted on talking… for some reason, the two of us kept finding a reason to avoid ending the call. Weird, huh?
...
for some reason, that made my blush, though I don't rightly know why.
