• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Is SFW permitted in the NSFW forum?

Everything in it all says [NSFW] in the title. I have a SFW quest which I decided to move to this site. Nobody ever looks at anything in the SFW section. But I don't want to put a NSFW tag in the title until I actually have NSFW material in it (one scene in it is a little borderline, but that's it).

Even assuming that posting SFW is permitted, do enough people do it that if I did it, it wouldn't annoy people who read it and keep wondering where the porn is?

To quote alethiophile...

There's not technically a rule that only NSFW works may be posted in the NSFW section (though there is a rule the other way); forcing someone to post in SFW at this point really does amount to denying them 95% of the traffic on the site.

So it's permitted, however some people might get a little annoyed until some lewds turn up, though as long as you don't pull a Zaralann and post a whole bunch of threads at once, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

If I do move it there should I put SFW in the title, or something like "SFW so far"? (Or get a mod to see if it qualifies as SFW since I have a non-explicit scene in it)

The [NSFW] tag is separate from the title. There's like a drop-down menu. [NSFW] is the default, but you can turn it off or change it to [NSFW RPG], [NSFW CYOA], or [NSFW Freeform].
