Lots of settings have conceptual/elemental powers, and over time I have had a lot of ideas on how they can be represented/utilized at their extremes and decided to just post a list. May or may not expand on this later
Elemental correlations:
Fire
Life, death, rebirth, creation, destruction, heat, comfort, consumption, sacrifice
Philosophies (fire)
A living thing capable of independent action
The fire of the hearth to provide warmth, light, and comfort for the living
The flames of ambition, burning brightly for a short time but always leaving behind less potential in the world in its destructive path (quote I've made up and wanted to use but hasn't come up in any story) "Fire burns brilliantly, and many are impressed by its short lived power and beauty! But for those who look carefully they will see in the aftermath that it always leaves less opportunity behind than it started with."
Water
Life, reflection, flow, cohesion, adaptability, poison/healing, relaxation, erosion
Philosophies (water)
The push and pull, the ebb and flow, the motion/intention of the world
Calm, serene, stagnant until acted upon
Compliant and following the easiest path laid before it
Earth
Erosion, solidification, resistant, cohesion
Philosophies (earth)
Stubborn and unyielding
Slow to start, hard to stop
The bonds/morals that tie you down to earth and weigh you down, but make you all the stronger for them
Air
Independence/separation, healing
Philosophies (air)
The breath of life
Freedom and separated from all limitations
Loose, light, and unconcerned
Concept powers: (Taken to their most BS extremes, not listed in any order of OP)
Creation: Can make anything, living or not, with other powers or not, anything you can't do directly you can make something that can do it (Or just create destruction or create an editing force of power that warps the universe in the exact way you desire effectively omnipotence)
Destruction: Destroy objects, destroy fundamental 'rules' of reality, destroy the time that has passed since x event, destroy limits, destroy space between places, destroy powers, destroy other concepts
Life: Create any living thing, restore life, alter life (with or without new powers)
Death: Kill things, remove death, control dead things (Not necessarily necromancy but can be that too), kill an idea/concept
Rebirth: Reincarnation with whatever alteration in that process desired
Heat: Generate/remove/alter temperature, add/remove chaos
Comfort/relaxation: Mitigate damage dealt/taken, healing, weaken the effect of anything, alter mental states to be more relaxed/less intense
Consumption: Eat thing, gain desired aspects of thing
Sacrifice: Pay insert price for insert reward, give away existing power for potential power or vice versa, pay the price of how much you have aged for progress/potential somewhere else (immortality + power over time)
Reflection: Reflect damage/unwanted effects away from you and back at opponent, reflect attributes of others (age, powers, physique, ect...), reflect others/self to make copies of them and warp those reflections to modify the behavior/powers of the copies, reflect light/sound to make illusions, warp a reflection of reality to custom create your own separate reality (Which could be greater than your current one and then act upon it, so effectively omnipotence)
Cohesion: Enhance people/things when cooperating, assist/enforce cooperation in things, make concepts cooperate with each other in ways they normally don't
Adaptability: Change self/others in any way including powers/physique, adapt a concept to alter how it interacts with reality/other concept
Poison: Poison a body, an idea, or a concept, poison reality itself to make it more susceptible to alteration
Healing: Heal/revive/alter people, heal objects/reality/powers to restore/alter them
Erosion: Erode powers/concepts, gradually wear down defenses/objects/people, erode reality to make it less resistant to change or to remove aspects of it
Solidification: Enhance the defenses of anything, solidify concepts/ideas/fictional characters to bring them into reality, solidify reality to make it more resistant to change
Independence/separation: Cause is independent/separate of effect (Logic is irrelevant, thing happens regardless of circumstances and conditions effectively omnipotence)
