  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.

I'm so confused, this story got nuked off AH and SB - wtf is it meant to be copying and why haven't they nuked the patreon if it is such an obvious copy?!?

Not saying it is a copy but please can you shed some light?

That's cool. I really dislike how they mod there with no visibility to site users (and paying donors), some of the decisions are completely arbitrary.

Well looking froward to reading more of the story!
