Hey mods I had a question and wanted to ask in general if it was fine or not first before posting the thread. A brief explanation is needed I suppose.
I was told to take a discussion on what is or isn't canon to a discussion thread or in rants.
Having taken a quick look around I saw nothing like this exactly figured why not make my own? Nothing for this anime/manga and nothing about for what is or isn't canon. In short when an author or commenter says something is canon and you believe otherwise you would @ them in this new thread inside of rants asking for them to back up their claims to stay within the rules.
As Rule 1 is a bit more relaxed inside of rants it seems like this would be allowed in there, and being a bit more on the nose due to the annoyance of having to go elsewhere seems perfectly allowed.
The planned thread title is "What is or isn't canon - Back up your claims" or if that is still too much in rants then just the first part of that.
Thoughts?
