Though it has done me many years of good service, I think that it is finally time to replace my keyboard. It's just gotten to the point that I make more spelling errors due t key presses not registering than I do from my own errors. Ideally, I'd like to replace it with an identical model but they don't seem to be on sale any longer. It's a Rii K61c. Anyone know where I can get one, or failing that, any recommendations for a replacement?

I'd really prefer mechanical keys.

I wish I could help you, but my own search for something good is frustrating. They just don't make keyboards like before, where the keys DO NOT FUCKING FADE as you use them.

Add to my desire to have it wired, not wireless stuff that need batteries and for it to be french canadian, and well...

Have you considered buying the keyboard key stickers? You can basically replace the key symbols XD

If you're unable to find the exact model, Rii K61c, for a replacement, there are several alternatives you can consider. One popular option is the Ducky One 2 Mini, known for its compact design and high-quality construction. Another reliable choice is the Corsair K70 RGB, which offers customizable RGB lighting and durable key switches. The Anne Pro 2 is a wireless mechanical keyboard with a compact layout and programmable keys, while the Logitech G Pro Mechanical Keyboard is favored by gamers for its responsive keys. These are just a few examples, and the right replacement keyboard for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences, such as key switch type, form factor, and budget.

I'd like it to have a number pad. Aside from the tiny left shift the Corsair K70 RGB looks good, though the price for a keyboard makes me wince.
