"Bartender! Another drink please!" A drunken voice yelled out, slumped on his barstool as he raised his glass in victory, Chase Victor, a well known alcoholic and slob grinned eagerly as he watched the worker pour the burning liquid into the glass.
Chase, moving his head up to stare up at the roof smirks, with that action, he reveals the plentiful hickeys places on him by the sweet lass on his side, wrapping his arm around her and placing a scarred hand on her right breast, he squeezed confidently, watching her squirm in her seat.
"Hey what's your name anyhow huh?" Chase asked before pulling her to sit on his lap.

"Oh shit jackpot!" Chase shouted, finding a decently expensive looking pair of earrings. After looking around further, he noted there was nothing left of value to snatch and left the purse empty.
"Well now that I'm done with you, time to dispose." Chase said.

'Where the fuck did she go?' Chase thought in worry, frantically looking around.

'What is happening, aren't I dead?' Chase thought in confusion.
'What just happened? How did they catch up to me? I was so fucking careful! This can't be possible. What happened to me?' Chase droned with his eyes still slammed shut.
"Oh my god…" Chase managed to get out, trying to flutter his eyes open.
A blue screen suddenly appeared right in his face.

And once again, Chase closed his eyes immediately. 'Now what on earth is this nonsense? I'm hallucinating that I'm in some sort of video game. All that I remember is getting my shit rocked by the massive dude and Stace finishing me off I guess; what do I do now?"
Opening his eyes again, he decided to ignore the agonizingly blue screen in front of him in favor of analyzing his surroundings.
Looking around, Chase saw that he was surrounded in pure filth, scraps, water bottles, dirty diapers, the things that someone like would normally ignore with disdain. Someone of his wealthy tastes wouldn't get involved in such.
Under him stood sand, scorching hot and with Chase's unfamiliar senses, forced him to sit up immediately. Looking down he saw that his clothing consisted of a white rag stained with strange brown and green marks everywhere.
Eye widening, Chase did the only sensible thing to do in that situation, he barfed all over the warm sand floor.
'Just filthy!' Chase thought in rage. Whoever did him like this would be a walking gravestone! No one messes with Chase Victor and gets away with it!
Long Story Short, they got away with it.
Neck snapping towards the message, he saw the new screen appear in front of him as the other one disappeared completely.
Remembering what the beginning message said in the first place, he contemplated if he should say the "Code Word."
'Sounds absolutely ridiculous to be fair but what's the harm in it anyway? Maybe I could get more of an explanation on what the fuck is going on. Such a hideous shade of blue dear god!' Chase ranted before stating the code word.
"Chase 01." He murmured out, causing the blue screen to evolve into something different. As the screen deformed and reformed itself Chase had to comment.

'For one, Cleric is most certainly not my type, I like to get real up and personal! Rogue does amuse me, picking locks and all that, seems right up my alley. But I could do most rogue things without that bullshit in the first place. That's out! Warrior and Mage just look overall awesome but those stat deductions are a major turn off,' Chase yammered in his mind, coming down to one conclusion.
'Well Bard it is! Such a predictable choice but it's the best option for what I like. Wonder how this world is like if all of this ends up being completely real,' Chase quickly clicked his finger on the Bard option. Quickly after that, a new screen popped up.

Skills are the powers and abilities you unlock through your journey. Adapting to your subclass, Reverse Slash is unlocked with a Skill Tree to evolve the strength of the skill.

Potentials are ways to increase your strength that don't directly give you a skill. The only way to gain a potential is to crush a Potential Shard. These Potential Shards work like a Roguelike, giving permanent upgrades to skills or base upgrades to the body and mind.

'Is there a way I can just instantly use the potential shard since there's no inventory option?' Chase questioned before conveniently a pitch black shard radiating something completely foreign to him appeared in his hands.

So clearly there are three options per potential and some of them have limits to how many you can get per how absolutely insane lifesteal would be. Even with his subpar knowledge on these types of things.
After weighing his options not so carefully he grabbed the first percent of vampirism and quickly opened up his stats to analyze further.

"What the fuck!" Chase's voice ranged out, staring around for any possible reason for why one of his valiant goons is a sludge of blood on the floor. Quickly, he picked up on the fact that Stace was no longer on the floor unconscious, location being unknown.
'Where the fuck did she go?' Chase thought in worry, frantically looking around.
Taking a slow step out of the lit room, Chase stared around in cowardice as he began dashing through the halls trying to search for the woman he just spent his night with.
Searching like a madman, he went back inside his room and started tearing up the entire place, desperately searching for the girl that could ruin his life before he could do to her!
"An eye for an eye they say." Chase mumbled annoyed.
Soon after, Chase grabbed his phone and began a call to the guards downstairs to make sure no one exits the premises. He'd be damned if this was how he got caught by mere cockiness. Before he could finish opening his phone, a large figure grabbed him from the shadows and pinned him to the wall roughly.
"Fuck!" Chase cried out before he got put into a full nelson by the muscular individual.
A light bursted on and from the light came Stace in her full form, large breasts still perky, standing beautifully upright. As Chase viewed all the hickeys he'd left on her delectable body, he swiftly came to his senses and realized his situation as of right now.
He quickly turned his locked head as much as he could to see a pre guessed muscular man looking in what seems to be his mid thirties with darker skin, a bald scalp, grey shirt, and sweatpants. Strangely enough he came without shoes.
"It's pathetic how when your life is in my hands you're too busy staring at my tits." Stace said coldly. Beaming him down with an emotionless stare.
"You can think of it however you want. I'll enjoy my view." Chase said with sweat slightly pouring down his face. None of his emergency buttons were nearby and the man would clearly not let up his grip.
'I might be fucked." Chase thought in fear as on the outside he kept his expression neutral.
Slowly, Stace walked over to the captured Chase and looked him dead in his eyes. Swiftly, she removed his pants and wrapped her hands around his shaft.
"The fuck is this?" Chase questioned in absolute bewilderment.
"You know how many lives you've probably ruined? Plenty. Tens, maybe even one hundred women. If not more." Stace stated in disgust as she continued to stroke his length as it grew more excited and out of control.
"For that. I can't let you leave here alive. I've been tracking you for a long time, you know. Marley. If you even remember the names of the people's lives you ruin, was my sister. She had absolutely nothing. She was pregnant without any money and her credit was demolished because of you." Stace monologued as she quickened her pace, making the scammer release all over her breasts.
"If your plan was to holler your complaints at me while jacking me off, it's working but won't get you anywhere!" Chase laughed cruelly as he basked in the semen exiting his body in pleasure.
Squeezing it with enough strength to cause a cry of pain out of the experienced man's mouth.
"I'll kill you!" Stace screamed in rage. Right after, the large man punched him in the stomach with enough power to make him cough out blood.
The man then grabbed him by the leg and slammed him down and began to neck and start choking him on the floor. Soon after, Stace sat on his cock and looked at him. "Is this what you wanted?"
"Sex and glory? You're nothing in the main scheme of it all. Chase Victor you are nothing and won't ever equate to anything! I hope you'll be happy in hell!" Stace rang out and Chase's vision started getting blurry.
"You...sadistic bitch." Chase yammered with the last of his strength.
"This is your end." Stace managed to grunt as he came inside of her.
'This kinky slut is gonna kill me while fucking me? I can't even do anything because of this pathetic mutt on my ass!' Chase squealed in his mind.
After a few more minutes, Chase Victor was officially dead.
Thoughts fleeting, hope fading, and of course, zero regrets for his actions, those were the last things going through Chase's mind.
It all faded to black.
And suddenly! In a burst of color, sound, and reality fusing and combining, decomposing and regurgitating in a beautiful spiral, Chase slowly regained his vision.
In his attempt to open his eyes, he was absolutely overwhelmed with the new seemingly new sensations attacking his senses.
'What is happening, aren't I dead?' Chase thought in confusion.
'What just happened? How did they catch up to me? I was so fucking careful! This can't be possible. What happened to me?' Chase droned with his eyes still slammed shut.
"Oh my god…" Chase managed to get out, trying to flutter his eyes open.
A blue screen suddenly appeared right in his face.

And once again, Chase closed his eyes immediately. 'Now what on earth is this nonsense? I'm hallucinating that I'm in some sort of video game. All that I remember is getting my shit rocked by the massive dude and Stace finishing me off I guess; what do I do now?"
Opening his eyes again, he decided to ignore the agonizingly blue screen in front of him in favor of analyzing his surroundings.
Looking around, Chase saw that he was surrounded in pure filth, scraps, water bottles, dirty diapers, the things that someone like would normally ignore with disdain. Someone of his wealthy tastes wouldn't get involved in such.
Under him stood sand, scorching hot and with Chase's unfamiliar senses, forced him to sit up immediately. Looking down he saw that his clothing consisted of a white rag stained with strange brown and green marks everywhere.
Eye widening, Chase did the only sensible thing to do in that situation, he barfed all over the warm sand floor.
'Just filthy!' Chase thought in rage. Whoever did him like this would be a walking gravestone! No one messes with Chase Victor and gets away with it!
Long Story Short, they got away with it.
Neck snapping towards the message, he saw the new screen appear in front of him as the other one disappeared completely.
Remembering what the beginning message said in the first place, he contemplated if he should say the "Code Word."
'Sounds absolutely ridiculous to be fair but what's the harm in it anyway? Maybe I could get more of an explanation on what the fuck is going on. Such a hideous shade of blue dear god!' Chase ranted before stating the code word.
"Chase 01." He murmured out, causing the blue screen to evolve into something different. As the screen deformed and reformed itself Chase had to comment.
'That is pretty fucking cool.' Chase lazed before he decided to read the new screen in front of him.

Bard - Jack of all trades, master of none. Completely unpredictable and filled with passion for many hobbies and activities. Plays all the sports, learns all the instruments, etc. +25% all stat gain, free choice of beginning skill.
Chase was utterly gobsmacked at his list of options and of what's going on. A part of him thought he was just dreaming and that he'd wake up soon in prison, which at this point he might prefer.
'This is insanity! This is an outrage! This cannot be real!' Chase repeated in his mind over and over and over again. But as he looked directly at the ground, he shoved his hand in the sand, feeling the coarse mineral all over his fingers, leaving an uncomfortable sting on his palm.
"It can't be," Chase sighed, staring at the absolute dump once again, closing his eyes as he continued his contemplation.
If this was his reality, then in a world of fantasy would be fucking awesome, there was no child that hadn't thought about going into a new reality, getting crazy ass powers and dominating the planet, its a wet dream!
But on the other hand he could just be delirious and off his rocker. Next thing you know he's woken up in a hospital bed, or worse, a white chair in the middle of a room surrounded by whatever the fuck. Yucky.
Mentally deciding to entertain this 'System,' he reviewed his options for what class he could choose.
'For one, Cleric is most certainly not my type, I like to get real up and personal! Rogue does amuse me, picking locks and all that, seems right up my alley. But I could do most rogue things without that bullshit in the first place. That's out! Warrior and Mage just look overall awesome but those stat deductions are a major turn off,' Chase yammered in his mind, coming down to one conclusion.
'Well Bard it is! Such a predictable choice but it's the best option for what I like. Wonder how this world is like if all of this ends up being completely real,' Chase quickly clicked his finger on the Bard option. Quickly after that, a new screen popped up.
Bard Class chosen! Would you like to choose a random subclass? Note that any of these subclasses can negatively affect your main class or could seriously enhance it!
'I've always considered myself to be pretty lucky, what's the worst that could happen anyway?' Chase pondered.
This could either make or break the way this goes but the nerfs probably wouldn't even be that bad anyway!

One Trick: Though the bard is a jack of all trades master of one, you go completely against that! You are completely limited to one skill for the rest of your journey!
Choose Your Beginning Skill!
All Chase could do was stare at the screen in confusion, thoughts of rage, cursing out the possibly sentient screen or banging his skull on the various pieces of scrap around him.
'Out of every single fucking curse or boon I could could get its the one that completely nullified what I was going for!' Chase shouted in his head.
Thoughts of flaming tornados and slaying dragons were completely vanishing in his mind and being replaced with being a greasy bum on the side of the street for the rest of his days.
His neutral expression was replaced with a face of anger as he began to curse at the screen in front of him.
Suddenly he stopped with the realization of what he was doing.
"God I probably sound fucking crazy. Someone like me screaming at a screen that probably isn't real as a homeless that sounds pathetic," Chase droned.
Snapping out of his funk, he quickly took a look at all the beginner skills that were available to him. I suppose some of these didn't look too shabby.
"Out of all I'd probably have to choose-" Chase said before being cut off by a new message.

In shock, Chase tried to spam click the thing to stop the process but to no avail.
'Come on come on! There's no way I could get fucked over this badly! I got this horrid class and to top it all off they're willing to probably give me a shit tier skill!'
Skill Chosen: Reverse Slash
Reverse Slash - Hold a weapon in a reverse grip and cleave down, leaving a crimson red trail in its wake.
Reading the new screen in a studious fashion, Chase weighed his options carefully.
For one, this system is a dickhead. For two, this skill doesn't seem terrible. From what I was first seeing, some of these skills were horrible.
Some of them included but weren't limited to, generating top hats, creating smelling salts, acid sneezes that harm the user, drawing blood but not being able to control it, and the list goes on.
'Maybe it ain't as bad as I thought it would because fuck! I'd hate to end up as the unlucky bastard who sneezed acid on himself and died at birth, gross!' Chase thought in disgust.
Deciding to get up after such a spree of brainstorming, he loosened out his extremely sore body with a series of stretches practiced from his former life.
Getting a much better look around, he stared at the scattered objects typical for a junkyard, cardboard, household appliances, pieces of scrap likely from broken accessories.
"Now to get the hell out of here!" Chase shouted in excitement.
"Reverse Slash!" Chase said throwing a sloppy hand chop downwards at a wall of debris, soon realizing that was a terrible idea as he badly hurt his hand.
"Fuck!" Chase screamed in pain, nursing it in his other palm.
Reverse Slash requires a weapon to be used.
Reverse Slash must be an upwards attack.
"Oh come on! Isn't the body a weapon or a temple or whatever? And is attacking upwards really going to make that much of a difference?" Chase questioned the ability.
As Chase sighed he ignored the rest of the pain and thought to himself, 'What else is in this system anyway? I should figure it out once I get the fuck out of here.'
Continuing to look at his surroundings he found the hole that was bringing in all the sunlight.
Following that trail, Chase squirmed his way out of that surprisingly tight hole and gathered himself to look at where he was now.
More trash completely encompassed the area around him. He looked to his left and right and the same result followed.
'Some sort of trash dump on the beach, pollution I suppose.' Chase guessed before climbing on top of a mountain of garbage.
Hopping from each reachable piece, he made it to the highest point he could to scope out the area.
Expecting an insane kingdom of ridiculous proportions he was surprised to see a series of modern buildings, not familiar to where he lived, but genuine architecture he could see being real.
And instead of goblins and gargoyles, he saw a pair of regular humans, one with green hair attempting and hilariously failing to drag a fridge with his body as an absolutely colossal figure with yellow hair and two strands pointing opposite from each other and a large grin on his face.
'Bozo likes torturing kids I guess,' Chase glanced before setting his attention to the new system panel.

Allowing himself to take a seat on the sand, he blinked as he thought about completely skipping the likely long and boring explanation, he pondered if he could even recognize what world this is.
'Hm…Nope. Not a clue. Maybe a show or anime I missed,' Chase ignored, placing his attention back towards the screen.
'Is there settings on this thing I really want to change the way it looks,' Chase lazily thought before letting the system create its explanation.
Stats
Stats are the main overview that allows you to see how your power scales through different letter grades instead of regular numbers ranging from F to S.
'At least there isn't a shit load of numbers,'
Quests
Quests are the way to lead you through this world by guiding you with quests including your lack of knowledge and personality. There are main quests that give the most rewards, side quests that give lesser rewards but shape your path more, and minor quests, issues easily solvable.
'Sounds like a fucking regular quest system but the adaption is cool,'
Skills
Skills are the powers and abilities you unlock through your journey. Adapting to your subclass, Reverse Slash is unlocked with a Skill Tree to evolve the strength of the skill.
'Okay now I'm much more curious about this skill, this actually has some potential!'
Potentials
Potentials are ways to increase your strength that don't directly give you a skill. The only way to gain a potential is to crush a Potential Shard. These Potential Shards work like a Roguelike, giving permanent upgrades to skills or base upgrades to the body and mind.
As a freebie: +1 Potential Shard!
'That is so fucking sick!' Chase yelled in his head.
Besides the absolute buzzkill that is only having a single skill, the potentials sound sick!
'Is there a way I can just instantly use the potential shard since there's no inventory option?' Chase questioned before conveniently a pitch black shard radiating something completely foreign to him appeared in his hands.
Staring at it in wonder, he greedily crushed the crystal and got a new panel with a series of options.
Lesser Armor: Get 0.2% damage reduction.
Vampirism (0/3): Gain 1% lifesteal on all attacks.
Mending: Recover from physical fatigue and injuries 15% faster.
So clearly there are three options per potential and some of them have limits to how many you can get per how absolutely insane lifesteal would be. Even with his subpar knowledge on these types of things.
After weighing his options not so carefully he grabbed the first percent of vampirism and quickly opened up his stats to analyze further.

'Now that I'm done with that, what to do now..?' Chase rubbed his chin. Going to a sneakier spot, he went closer to the pair of people at the dump.
One of them was spouting on about heroics and training up for his power while calling the little green guy a wimp.
Strange.
'The fuck are they doing? This little kid is going to get absolutely torn up. Who does he think he is, the main character?' Chase eyed.
'Well whatever it is I need information about these so called quirks and how they work, same with heroes, villains, vigilantes and whatever the fuck else is going on here, and another thing,' Chase thought, smelling himself and gagging hard.
'I need money.'

I never really see people use Rougelike elements for their gamer stories so I decided to implement one into mine. I really enjoy gamer stories so I probably can't help myself, I'll end up writing multiple at once later down the road.
