Rise of the Ethereal [Naruto/Exalted idea]

Autochthon looked out from Elsewhere and found a strange and new sight, a reality that was not Creation or anything else he knew. Looking at one place in particular, the elemental nations, he saw mere mortal humans wielding a bizarre energies. These energies allowed these 'Shinobi' and others to manipulate the very laws of this reality. Such power interested him as he continued to observe, learning much about this 'Chakra' and how it interacted with the world. He watched as the First Hidden Village begin to form due to the alliance between the 'Senju' and the 'Uchiha' to the infamous Battle that created the Valley of the End. When the "Biju' known as the 'Kyubi' was sealed into the Matriarch of the Senju, Mito, who was originally from a closely related clan the 'Uzumaki'. The very action reminded him of the Exalted, he knew even these 'Jinchūriki' were crude to his creation but still held great power.

A terrible thought crossed his mind, even with crude weapons this reality would not last against the forces of creation. So the Great Maker came up with a plan, he couldn't trust his own exalted to protect this reality due to the flaw known as Clarity so he would make a new type. Over the long history of the hidden villages, Autochthon would work to blend Essence and Chakra together in a single shard. Only one thing missing from this shard to properly so looking back to the new reality he had found, the primordial saw the very thing he needed and the very thing that started him on this little quest. He witnessed the Night of the Kyubi attack and how it was split in two, one half being sealed within a new-born barely a hour old and the other inside the new-born's father.

In order for the Shard to be complete, he need the kyubi and the other 'biju' but he sensed the potential of the newborn. Deciding to wait a bit until the child proves himself worthy of being an Exalt, the Great Maker went back to observing the boy in hope that 'Naruto' would fulfill that potential. Soon, the Empyrael exalts would be born into this reality.

Changes List: Will be constantly edited.

The elemental people are mostly regular humans with Clans being God-blooded with mutations (general term)
Shinobi and other groups are considered awakened heroic mortals.
Chakra is elemental attuned essence save for the Yin-Yang release, which is regular essence.
Jutsu is a combination of thaumaturgy, charms and terrestrial martial arts.
Kekkei Genkai are wyld mutations that can be passed down.
Bijuu are Creatures of the Wyld that terrorize the population.
Jinchuuriki are exalts instead of being host to the Bijuu.

Ok, couple things;

1. Clarity is not a flaw. Autocthon built Clarity into the Alchemical Exalted to prevent them from going mad with power like the Solars did. He very likely considers Clarity superior to normal human thought as it explicitly reflects his own thought processes.

2. Autocthon likely would not care about protecting the new reality. Odds are he'd try to conquer it himself. Autocthon can be benevolent, but this is merely a function of him being the Primordial of Tools, Religion, and Dogma. His empathy for you is largely based on how much you rely on these three things. The Shinobi don't even use guns, and don't seem to have a religion. Also, Auto's kind of resource starved, and strip mining a new world would help with that, as would converting the populace to worship of him.

Yeah, already got told of the areas I when wrong with in chat. Rewriting this with changes mostly on the Naruto side of the crossover. I am a noob, so I will make mistakes here and there.

The only exalts Autobot can make without aid from another Incarna or Primoridial level beings are Alchemicals. Which are built from scratch by humans empowered by Autobot. He could probably make them personally if he wanted to.

You could have the major villages worship Autobot partially because doing so gets them the blessing and knowledge to make Alchemicals. In fact make the major villages be Patropolises or Matropolai. Keep in mind that making a new Alchemical is national GDP level expensive so they would be made in small groups to save cost and be a massive project.

Awakening and Discovery

In the deep recesses of Elsewhere, the sleeping Primordial Autocthton starts to partially stir upon feeling something both strange and familiar. Using his tool, peered across Elsewhere to find whatever has partially awoken him from his deep slumber. In doing so founds else that disturbed and angered him deeply, someone or something had tampered with the Exaltation Shards. This in turn caused Creation to become fall into such a terrible state. However, the Seal of Eight Divinities was still in place so he couldn't interact without breaking it and be exposed in his current state. The Great Maker also sensed his fallen brothers and sisters have taken Shards and twisted into mockeries. This truly infuriated him to no end but let his with horrible idea. Were his former siblings also responsible for the taint of the exalted? If so then his revenge would be great and terrible indeed.

However before he could begin to contemplate how to fix his creations, the tools he sent came back with surprising news. There was another Creation out there, one seemly untouched by the forces of this one or of the Wyld. Drawing his attention away from Creation, he began to focus on this other Creation and the world that acted as the Gateway between the two.

This world held people who were awakened and wielded essence, they call it Chakra. Most were purely humans while a select few seemed to be some sort God-Blooded. There were a groups that trained in the use of Jutsu, or Techniques, that seemed to be a catch all term for something to manipulate essence. Most common were Shinobi or Ninja, and Samurai or Knights. Both have their own systems of ranking and powerful clans. Other groups include Souryo or Monks, Saishi or Priests, and others of minor importance.

All of these use three types of jutsus that are considered basic level with only a few variations here and there. Taijutsu or Body Techniques were Terrestrial Martial Arts. This didn't excite the Great Maker like the other two save for the fact that it require little to no essence to use unless needed. Ninjutsu or Ninja Techniques seemed to be a combination of Thaumaturgy and Charms. Most seem allow the manipulation of this other Creations rules in surprising ways that Autocthton didn't even imagine yet. But it was the last one interested him the most. Genjutsu or Illusionary Techniques which uses illusions to fool or manipulate people in a way that is mostly used by the Raksha. Did these people have contact with forces of the Wyld?

There were more advanced types of jutsus that use one of the three or more basic types. One of examples would Seishitsu Henka or Nature Transformation based ninjutsu which allowed the use of elemental based abilities. Another would be Fuuinjutsu or Sealing Techniques that act similarly like a circuit board, mostly used to store things or explode. This particular type seems to resonate with the Great Maker since it mostly uses logic with a little creativity. He also found out about Kekkei Genkai or Bloodline Limit, mutations passed down through blood that allow special jutsus to be used. Some allow for the body to be manipulated like bones, others allow for elements to be combined in sub-elements and a few have eyes that allows for abilities like seeing all around them in a few mile radius.

Thus Autocthton decided to take a few of these people for experimentation. However, doing so gained the attention of the forces of this world, both good and bad.

The Ethereal (WIP)

Theme

The Ethereal use the Principle of Sacrifice attain a better understanding of the world. They use the Ideal of Enduring to push through the pain, suffering and all that caused by sacrifice. Learning that the world is truly transient, that every is temporary only existing until the forces of time fade it away. However the Ethereal reject and accept this fact, using the Ideal of Defiance to change the world and themselves as they see fit. For they will stand the test of time and fate, together and alone. So they will attain the Principle of Evolution, to surpass and keep surpassing past limits and creations. One Generation to the Next, One Exalt to the next.

Thus they are called the "Power of Human Sacrifice" like how Solars are called "Lawgivers" and Alchemicals "Champions of the State".
