There is a certain story on here that I've read that I would rate as very good or excellent if it didn't include, at the time of writing, two instances of what seems to be Author Filibusters. Now, they don't take up a lot of the work by word count so it's not an Author Tract. They're also relatively subtle, but they're still very noticeable (to me, anyway), though I'm not 100% sure the author was aware that they were, effectively, ranting. I was thinking of pointing it out to them, and ask if they are intentional etc., but I was worrying that then I would fall afoul of Rule 8, in particular if a discussion developed.
To make a long question short, what should I do in such a situation?
EDIT:
Just realized I might want to specify that the filibusters are related to recent politics stuff. While talking about Rule 8 implies that, I just wanted to make sure that's clear.
