I want to post a thread and discussion about what a country would look like if it had ten times as many people. Is this okay?
It's basically an alternate history thread.
Here's the transcript:

So I'm interested in having a discussion with everyone on Questionable Questing about some matters regarding alternate history, infrastructure, demographics and population change. I'm overall curious to know how countries effect or change based on a steady growth to a larger population.
I mean I love reading about Geopolitics and how they function based on what a country can do, what it needs and what it balances.
For example I'm once read "Embracing Defeat - Japan Post World War 2", "Asia's Reckoning" and am now reading "China's Asian Dream" and it talks a lot about how workforce, labor, social norms and "Deep technology" was effected by new larger generations and greater amounts of people.
So I'm curious to know what you're country (the user or post) would look like if there was ten times as many people in this. The only rules for this scenario are as follows:
I'm really curious to know what your nation would look like and how it would act in such a situation.
- Similar Population Distribution i.e. Try to keep the same density per square kilometer; so if you city has 10,000 per square kilometer it now has 100,000
- Similar Ethnic Composition i.e. if the old UK has 5% British Asians it has 5% British Asians still. That just plays out the same
- Near Future Technology i.e. We don't want space elevators or anything that would be TOO high tech. This is a discussion on nations. See here for help.
- Assume a steady growth from either immigration and/or birth rates similar to our timeline but magnified
- Similar living standards but with ten times as much GDP i.e. If Saudi Arabia (fuck those guys) has a GDP of $800 Billion they now have a GDP of $8 Trillion Now
- This change is over the course of 75 Years from Post World War 2 to the start of Covid - 19 i.e. it is between 1945 to 2019 (which is the end of an era) where growth is supercharged. After that it's normal
