[RWBY] No Victory in Strength (Minecraft Jaune)

Here's to hoping that Jaune has access to the Tekkit and 'Feed the Beast' modpacks to access the advanced technology they have.

The people of Atlas (and other Kingdoms too) would sell their firstborns to Jaune and let him sleep with their women, for the slightest chance of accessing that kind of game-changing tech.

Hopefully, Jaune is self-aware enough to protect himself from assassination attempts, since I don't think it's a good idea to only rely on the (admittedly fanatical) people of the town.

What advanced technologies are those? As for this fic, he definitely can create AA guns and likely ships.

Jaune is Steve. He has a big health bar, can chug potions, and regen health from eating a pork chop. This is exactly what he does in the hypothetical scenario when Adam just tries to kill him.

He carries a totem with him at all times lol

Do you guys think Menagerie would accept the help of a human uplifting them even with Blake's assurance?

With Blake vouching for him I think Ghira and Kali would certainly accept his help and most locals while wary will probably go along with Ghira. The local white fang though will definitely try to attack him and then manipulate the narrative to make the Belladonna's look weak and try to martyr them by killing them and pinning it on Jaune. Which would be a good plot point.

Plus if Blake married him, hey! He's better than Adam Taurus. It's a low bar but given Blake's taste in men? Jaune is definitely a massive improvement over that psycho.

Imagine Adam becoming the heir to the throne of Menagerie. That's a nightmare that Ghira and Kali would no longer have to deal with and they get a kind, hardworking young man with a Semblance that could change the world.

And blond grandkitties! They'll be sooo cute!

But he's Human. A human being the one to uplift the Faunus shoots the message of equality in the foot since now it looks like Faunus couldn't do anything till the human deigned to help them. Marrying Blake makes it look more legitimate, though…

Hey, did anyone else stumble over "Goshujin-Sama To Yuku Isekai Survival!" while surfing around "Jaune with Minecraft powers"?
Fair warning; harem and erotic sequences.

Especially noteworthy on the "Jaune joins Menagerie" plot bunny; the protagonist isekais into a realm where demihumans such as beastmen are fighting against extermination by a "Holy Empire". The manga feels a lot like the Blake route, especially if Jacques hits the roof upon realizing that his hated enemies have managed to get ahold of a Supreme Commander ACU.

Again. He's not Adam Taurus. He's not a psychotic terrorist with a messiah complex who is ruining any chance of Menagerie or the Faunus achieving true equality, and isn't grooming their daughter. Or holding her hostage. Honestly that would explain a lot of the White Fang's actions: Blake being held as a willing hostage to ensure Ghira and Kali didn't interfere with their plans.

Hell, Jaune marrying Blake could be a symbol of unity between humanity and Faunus. And his abilities are so profound, so incredible, that the fact he's human is a minor province once they show off just what he could do for Menagerie. The fact he's also a kind, humble and genuine young man is icing on the top.

If Ghira and Kali are competent politicians (and they'd have to be), they would do everything in their power to ensure Blake and Jaune were happy together, promote their marriage, and promote what Jaune could do for them. As hard as they could.

It's more the politics. Like imagine showing off racial/national pride by showcasing things not made by your nation but rather some random guy. Ghira and Kali are supportive, sure, but the international scene won't just ignore Menagerie undergoing a technological renaissance. And it'd be viewed different if a Faunus did it for his fellow Faunus versus a Human doing it for Faunus. The former is nothing odd, the latter looks patronizing and makes the Faunus look dependent on a Human.

Hence why Blake considers marrying Jaune. If she does, it's her new husband - the husband of Menagerie's chieftain's daughter - building up his home. Much easier to swallow than some random unaffiliated Human. Weiss might come to the same plan if she figures she can make a company to beat her father with Jaune's help. This only worsens the rivalry between Weiss and Blake.

I'll read this later. How would Jacques react to Menagerie rapidly developing? Would he even care?

Well yes. That's why I added that bit at the end about Ghira and Kali doing everything in their power to encourage Blake and Jaune to be happily married. That's the political side and they would definitely spin and sell it as hard as possible to Menagerie's people. Showing off what Jaune could do would convince many of them, and help rob the White Fang of its power.

Of course Adam is now going to want Jaune either under his power, or dead. So hey, an Iron-Man type situation might be in the future of the story. Where Jaune's captors don't think that putting a man who can build virtually ANYTHING in a workshop would end badly...

Fun and satisfying, but don't get your hopes up. It's a pretty standard isekai, though it is an absolute BLAST to see Minecraft powers demonstrated to an audience. There's magic and then there's "build a city in a day". Especially since
this one levels up to being able to "store" structures and slam them in place with one action as long as he has sufficient materials. First walls, and then buildings and then the bad guys(religious fanatics who enslave demihumans as sex slaves) start scratching their heads because the impassable desert suddenly has a dozen Amundsen–Scott-level fortresses enabling their enemies to cross them in a week...

Ruby is pissed. All of them wanna marry Jaune for politics while she just like a guy she can build stuff with!

I was kinda figuring they can't even capture Jaune. He's Steve, after all. He can tank damage, chug potions, and regen from eating food. Adam is frustrated. Especially when Jaune pulls out the diamond sword from hammerspace snd starts rapid tapping.

Well Yang can also like him for being a good guy... And later for having a large, welcoming family. Hey, I love Lancaster but harem antics need some actual stakes involved and a bit of drama. It helps the comedy.

Yes but that won't stop Adam from trying. The Wile E. Coyote to Jaune's Roadrunner.

regardless of if Menagerie is doing better because of a human or not. Jacques would be completely opposed to this. Jaune helping Menagerie means that they'll be able to develop new resources, better mining methods, different ways to generate electricity and weapons (infinity enchantment on a gun literally frees you form the dust supply). And since this will lead to the formation of a Faunus run dust company that can probably beat the SDC in cost and do it even safer? (Looting enchantment) then Jaune and by extension Menagerie is a threat to the very existence of the SDC itself.

Man, you want Yang liking his family, huh? :p Yang's the confident one. She doesn't get mad cause she's OBVIOUSLY gonna win Jaune. No point stressing.

Wait till Jaune breaks Wilt and uses it for resources.

Hm, maybe Weiss could use this as proof to Blake that she needs to do her plan first. After Jacques is gone THEN Jaune can help with Menagerie. It's for her own giod.

I just like Dragonslayer a lot and hey, Yang wanting to be part of a big, loving, supportive family would fit her character.

Though yeah, Jaune breaking Wilt down and the look on Raven's face when he does will DEFINITELY seal the deal for Yang.

Wilt is Adam's sword, nit Raven's, lol. But yeah, Ruby seems to be the fsvorite for now. People want her to snag Jaune and ruin Blake and Weiss' plans

Yeah but they're both red katanas owned by edgelords. Even CRWBY got confused.

Yang would also ruin Blake and Weiss' plans too... And her conflict with Ruby could be very amusing. And cute.

Honestly, I want Ruby to win.

Ruby and Jaune are both 'Simple Souls' and they honestly complete each other in ways that the other members of Team RWBY can't match.

Heck, Ruby just wants to be friends with Jaune (despite the budding crush she's developing) while Blake and Weiss want to use him in their schemes.

While moral and altruistic in the grand scheme of things, it's still manipulative on their part.

Yang on the other hand, just thinks he's hot. It's a superficial attraction. They'd be better off as just friends.

Ruby though is the 'User' to Jaunes 'Creator'.

Jaune makes things (weapons) and Ruby uses them (to kill Grimm).

It helps that Ruby is also a tech and weapon nerd who's talented at building them too. They can bond over similar interests and bounce ideas off of each other to make something better than the sum of its parts.

Weiss, Blake and Yang don't share that sort of common ground with Jaune.

Hey, even if Yang wins them Ruby just has to bide her time like her mom did…
Lol. That depends on Yang taking after her mother.

Fat chance of that happening. Yang detests that kind of behavior. Especially after Blake pulls that stunt after Volume 3.

I'll read this later.
Seriously; does Jaune just bullshit it - people blink and stuff is there, or does he make motions with his arms and blocks appear? I haven't played Minecraft in aaages; has a "cut and paste repeatedly" function been added? One thing in the isekai manga that just makes you 0_0 is
the protagonist throwing blocks in front of a charging monster and letting them smash their head open on it. More so is whipping up a "night base camp" that's a mushroom-shaped piece of stone bricks with a ladder on the stem that everyone climbs up so they can camp for the night, then he breaks the whole thing up in the morning.
Sound like stuff Jaune can do? Most of the manga is standard satisfying "Connecticut Yankee" stuff, but from time to time they have the protagonist just whip up a giant building in seconds. His allies get used to it. His foes are still bleeding.

I mean, User Creator applies to everyone. Weiss wants Jaune to create tools and refineries that she can use. Blake wants Jaune to create an infustructure that she and the Faunus can use. And if we're judging Yang as shallow, then so is Ruby falling for a guy because he's a craftsman who looks good shirtless. This is before she got a read on his personality besides 'he's nice and gives away stuff', which is the exact same thing the other three also saw.

Yeah, Ruby biding her time in this scenario is a joke cause Yang wouldn't abandon people.

I mean, how does Minecraft work? Gather resources then build the stuff once you have it. If you're asking if he has inventory, then yes, he does. He needs it to carry materials to build.

Also, not sure how long it takes him to build. Maybe a few hours depending on the building?

I'm with Blake, I don't get Weiss' plan she'll have to go through her dad then the company shareholders then whatever Atlas' laws to change the mine workers' condition.

... Naked apron cooking battle will be decided upon. *Flees*
