Posted this idea on space battles. Jaune getting lost in the ever after before he gets to beacon. You get the whole rusted knight Arc before he makes it home. Would he still try to head to beacon? Would he head back to radian? Did he come back alone? You can easily have fairies from other stories come with. Did he find a wife in the ever after? Did he gain magic in the ever after? There's a lot of fun to be had here. Of course the best way to get the story moving forward would be him getting back from the ever after and heading towards beacon. I think grabbing a expy of barghast from fate Grand order as his wife would be entertaining as well. As far as the students are aware Mr and Mrs Arc are friendly and Noble new students who happen to get married before they came to beacon. No one is aware that they are the rusted knight and his loyal hound.

I think it could be interesting, but it really doesn't fit his character. You have to play with it a little bit. Say he starts off as this peaceful equal rights revolutionary. Then you have power hungry individuals trying to take advantage of this newly born regime and he has have them removed. Just have it escalate on the more Extreme Measures he is forced to take to keep people he believes can't be trusted with power away from it. By the time Canon swings around he's full on El Presidente. He would be like Adam and cinder, a monster made people.

You could even make it funnier in that Adam isnt as bad as him but instead what's to be like him. He is ghira biggest fan, but when he went to join up and learn under him. He was told no because he was too mid.
So cue Adam go due his emo stage and then blake falls into his lap.
So he does all his canon stuff in the hopes that blake would agree to marry him so he can be closer to ghira, not seeing blake horrific at all the tragedy thinking she is like her father.

Heck you can even toss in the bit where the arc family were tyrants, conquerors, blood knights with surprising good PR.
another bit is that blake running away prevented the great pride from being born as Jaune parents and Ghira were planning to marry blake to jaune and jaque would have joined in with the pact with Weiss joining the marriage leading the new conquest of the world.
But all that stopped because blake thinking her parents werent violent but peaceful.
But they are together now. It can still happen

she knows they are alive but she also knows about ruby actually is. She kinda find out when she had to help Yang hide a body and find out her daughter is a Maiden.
It was a shock but raven is believing her because of the bond she has with ruby for her semblance its still actived.
Let's just say when a Worm copy someone they will copy pretty much everything,

It look her some time to process it but now only raven knows. Qrow doesnt even know.
So the guilt of what happened to Tai, of being there in time, the almost massacre of her whole tribe by a Worm, and seeing that what she done, what she run from, what she throw away all worthless in the face of Worms.
Frankly if Yang had died with Tai and she saw the Scripo Worm she would have ended her life trying to kill and falling at it.
She is now a more broken woman.

The Worms keeping an eye on this creature until they absorbed enough knowledge, resources, create a colony, before blowing up the planet and start their trek again.
They dont care what happens to salem.
they will sacfiee enough of their kind to distract her until they can do their plan.
Now the natives they what to exploit her, abilities and see if they can copy them. So they can use their new found strength to destory their Worm cousins and one faction to live in peace while the other to turn everyone into a native so there is true peace.

You have to remember she wasnt right in the head when she said that in canon, she is absolutely wreck of a person, and she would say it feeling rage, sadness, a bit of hate for jaune, especially with jer learning about penny death.
And to her seeing him playing make believe with an imagination daughter that somehow he had with pyhrra when she is dead, while real people are dying and they are needed, and if he could make a make believe why couldn't he bring back penny.
It will be ugly scene , Ruby is going to regret what she said as it was in the heat of moment.
it take time but ruby and jaune will be able to fix their problems with the help of a tree.

So, the moment I saw "El Presidente", I had McHale's Navy the movie with Tom Arnold, pop into my head.
Specifically David Allen Grier dressed up as Fidel Castro to come and "congratulate " the guards for capturing those "American pig dogs" of McHale's, who all got busted in Havana due to a bar fight, while they're escaping their imprisonment.

This gives me some ideas.

-Sienna is the actual good guy trying to still get faunus equal rights. Ghira didn't step down because the Fang was getting violent it was because he got what he wanted an Island nation to rule and a hot wife that he doesn't touch anymore.

-Sienna wants to get rid of him but doing so openly would cause a faunus civil war so she reaches out to her old flame Ironwood. Their solution send in a team of operatives to cause an uprising and if possible depose Ghira so Atlas and the other kingdoms can intervene and place Sienna as the new leader of Menagerie.

-The problem a small budget as this can't get traced back to Atlas so Winter has been given command of the mission and assembles the best team on a budget while overseeing the operation on a rusted old Atlas vessel off the coast of Menagerie.

The team:

-Jaune Arc recently expelled from Beacon because of false transcripts. Joins the mission after being promised personal tutelage under Winter herself and another chance at becoming a Huntsman.

-Ciel: Soliel field representative for Atlas.

-Trifa: field representative for Sienna loyalist.

-Ilia Amitola: Ghira loyalist insider.

-May Zedong: Haven student turned merc after suffering an eye injury. Joins after Atlas offers an experimental surgery that will fix her damaged eye.

-Sun Wukong: Stowaway that thought this was the trasport to vale.

Amber: Winter's assistant on the ship but is mostly there because she's hiding from Cinder.

Funny moments

-Stealth constantly being optional

-lots of property damage.

-Jaune and Sun waking up after a night of drinking in bed with Kali and an epic escape from the Belladona Compound.

-Kali joining them on their escape as a "Prisoner"

-Kali trying to seduce everyone on the team.

-Ilia having negative rizz.

Ciel pulling her hair out trying to keep her team from fucking everything up.

-Trifa getting drunk on coffee.

-Jaune constantly getting into trouble.

-team rwby and npr wondering where Jaune is at and hoping he is ok.

-Nora watching the news coverage of all the events of Menagerie as the break and convinced Jaune is behind it but no one believes her.

-Blake constantly denying her father's atrocities.

-Warcrimes.

A take on the Isekai!Jaune idea: Jaune goes through the usual isekai nonsense and becomes absurdly OP, only he returns to Remnant before the start of the series and promptly decides he's a little tired of fighting and wants to enjoy his retirement meticulously arranging his mountains of gold and loot taking up something relaxing like farming and going on to medical school.

Unfortunately, this leads to Isabel spiraling as time goes on believing she's brutally crushed Jaune's dream while Nick believes he's a failure and broke his son when Jaune turns down an offer to spar (read: teach him how to be awesome), Beacon goes downhill for NPR (who never met Jaune), Ruby feels lonelier and lonelier, and so forth until post-Vytal where most of the main cast is evacuated to Radian. That is, until another Grimm horde attacks and Jaune pulls an Aizen on Chair-Sama without looking up from his sandwich.

Isabel: "Ebbeh - abbuh - awuh?"

The Government and Political Structure of Menagerie

Menagerie was born in blood and fire roughly 30 years before the main events of RWBY. Its history mirrors a brutal colonial past: the continent was carved up in the 19th century by Valean trading companies, Mistralian crime syndicates, and Mantlean/Atlasian resource-extraction corporations. A puppet "High Raja" (always a collaborationist Faunus from a major house) ruled from the city of Kuo Kuana under the fiction of "protecting Faunus interests" while Dust mines, rubber plantations, and rare-spice fields were stripped bare and millions of Faunus were shipped as indentured laborers—or worse—to the other Kingdoms.

The Faunus Revolution (sometimes called the Faunus Wars in human histories) began as scattered slave revolts and sabotage campaigns in the 1960s AMF, then coalesced under the Belladonna banner. When the colonial garrisons were finally expelled after five years of guerrilla warfare in and outside of Menagerie, the Great Kingdoms were forced at the Vytal Conference of 1975 AMF to recognize Menagerie as a sovereign state. The price was steep: Menagerie received almost no reparations, and no permanent seat on the Council of Kingdoms-only observer status.

Current Government (circa Volume 1–3 era)

Official Name: The Confederation of Menagerie
Capital: Kuo Kuana (the old colonial port, now a sprawling city of stilt-houses, temples, factories and markets)

Intelligence and Covert Apparatus

Menagerie never fully demilitarized after the Revolution. The organization known simply as "the Network" traces its roots to wartime partisan cells. Today it has three overlapping layers:

The Ministry of Shadows (official, under Kali's direct authority) – uses embassy attachés, merchant caravans, and White Fang "aid missions" as cover where diplomacy exists.
The Clan Circles – ancient ninja clans (Bagheera, Kaa, Hathi, etc.) who swear loyalty to the state but often rent their services to the highest bidder.
Private family networks – wealthy houses that fund their own spies and death squads, sometimes in support of the White Fang's radical wing, sometimes purely for profit.

Assassination is technically forbidden by the Kuo Kuana Accords (signed 12 years after independence), but everyone knows the Accords have "escape clauses" for "existential threats to all Faunus."

I've wondered what would happen if Jaune returns to Remnant before he even meets RWBY in the everafter, having finally found peace, and by the time the girls get out, Salem's gone for good when Jaune led everyone into battle, and they're at the 'rebuilding' phase of civilization. Amongst other things, Weiss is appalled to learn that Whitley's rebuilt the family fortune by going into the writing business.

Yang: *reading the reviews* "A giant rollercoaster of a novel in four hundred sizzling chapters. A searing indictment of the lives and families of the rich, with some hot gynoids thrown in."

You know, I actually suggested a similar story in a sense. Irony there is that instead of Nick making the contracts, he was forbidden from doing it. As for the rest of Jaune's family..

Weiss Schnee was shaking.

Not visibly, she had trained her whole childhood to keep her composure spotless. But subtly, in the tightening of her jaw, the stiff way she held her shoulders, the way her breath occasionally hitched no matter how hard she tried to keep it quiet.

"Calm," she whispered. "You are calm. You are composed. You are fine." Her reflection in the window disagreed. Gone was the Snow White princess look: white dress, perfect braid, immaculate posture. She wore a soft blue sweater several sizes too large, partly because she wanted to vanish into it… and partly because the small creature nested beneath the fabric demanded the space.

A soft, mechanical chitter vibrated against her ribs. Weiss flinched. "I am calm," she hissed under her breath. "You calming me down is making me less calm!"

The Drake Zecter poked its metallic snout out of the sweater collar, eyes glowing with a warm, pulsing orange. It hummed gently, like a purring cat made of gears.

Weiss swatted at it. "No. You're not helping. You realize Father probably has every private investigator from Vale to Atlas after us? And this..this..sweater disguise is ridiculous!"

Drake tilted its head. Weiss deflated. "...Okay, maybe it's a little cozy." The Zecter chittered proudly. Weiss groaned into her hands. "Ughhh…" Footsteps padded up behind her.

"Um… hi?" She turned. Ruby Rose stood there, hands fidgeting, expression bright but hesitant ...like a puppy unsure if she was allowed to approach.

"I, uh… saw you sitting alone and you looked kinda…" She paused. "...like a soda can someone shook really hard?" Weiss blinked. "Are you attempting a metaphor?"
"...Yes?"

It was such a terrible one, so sincere, so clumsy, so awkward that Weiss felt her panic hiccup.
Drake peeked from her collar again.
Ruby gasped. "OH! Is that a... a...bug???"

Weiss panicked. Ruby panicked. Drake tilted its head, confused. "Wait!" Ruby leaned forward. "He's cute!" Weiss froze. "H-He's what?"
Ruby beamed. "He's cute! Like a little robot ferret-bug-guy!" Drake chittered happily and nudged Ruby's cheek. Ruby giggled.

Weiss stared, baffled. "…He doesn't do that with me." "Maybe he likes how awkward we both are?" Ruby offered. Weiss choked. "I am not awkward." Drake chittered. Weiss glared down. "You betray me."

Ruby sat beside her on the bench.
Weiss expected interrogation, judgment, or one thousand questions about the Zecter. Instead, Ruby said softly:

"If you're scared… I get it. I was shaking earlier too." Weiss looked at her, startled. Ruby smiled sheepishly. "New school. Lots of people. Lots of responsibility. It's kinda… a lot." Something in Weiss quietly unraveled. "…Yes," she whispered. "It is." The two awkward girls sat together, a robot-bug curled between them like a bridge they never expected.



Beacon Cliffs – Initiation

The wind whipped across the cliffside as dozens of students lined up, jittery and excited.
Goodwitch stood sternly at the front. Ozpin sipped his coffee. Ruby vibrated in place next to Weiss.

Weiss whispered, "Please stop bouncing." "I can't help it," Ruby whispered back. "I'm excited." "You're vibrating like a small bird trying to escape its own skeleton." Ruby stopped. "...sorry."

Weiss sighed. "No, it's fine. Just don't fall off the cliff."Ruby saluted. "Yes, ma'am!"
Goodwitch raised her riding crop. "Students. Today you will be dropped..."

Yang, further down the line, leaned toward Blake. "Dropped? Is that normal?"
Blake's shrug said: I read too many books to be surprised by anything anymore.

Jaune Arc, the clean, bright, hopeful one stood beside Pyrrha. She gave him an encouraging smile. He smiled back nervously. "Uh… partner thing, right? This'll be easy." Pyrrha chuckled. "Initiation is rarely easy."

Above, unseen in an upper ledge shadow, the wanderer Jaune watched silently. Kabuto Zecter clicked angrily beside him. "Not yet," Jaune whispered. "I need to see how he handles himself."

Below, Weiss stepped onto her launch pad, muttering, "Please don't let me scream. Please don't let me scream..." Ruby waved excitedly. "See you at the bottom!"
Goodwitch brought the crop down.

"Begin."

The world exploded in catapults, screaming, and students flying in every direction, hurtling to their destiny.

Beacon Forest : ruins

The broken ruins rose from the forest like ancient teeth, moss-eaten and quiet.
Stone spires clawed up through the treeline, half-swallowed by vines and time. Scattered sunlight streamed through gaps in the canopy, painting the relic pedestals in fractured gold.

Students converged from all directions.
Ruby and Weiss stepped through one archway, Ruby skipping ahead, Weiss trying to look like she wasn't internally screaming again.

Yang and Blake emerged from the shadows of fallen pillars, trading cautious glances at Grimm movement deeper in the woods. Ren and Nora hopped across broken columns somewhere to the east, Nora humming dramatically as if expecting an explosion at any second.

Pyrrha and Worm-Jaune entered the clearing from the west, walking side by side, laughing softly. For a moment, it was peaceful.

For a moment. Then suddenly. Worm-Jaune froze. His foot hovered above the moss. His eyes widened. A pressure crawled up his spine.
A memory that wasn't his whispered: Danger.

Pyrrha's smile faded. "…Jaune?" He said nothing. Every instinct inherited from the real Jaune Arc screamed: RUN.
And then the voice cut through the ruins like a blade. "Found you."
They spun.
A figure stepped out from behind a shattered pillar.

Torn cloak, Dust-worn boots, Blond hair unkempt, Eyes hollow and burning. Jaune Arc. The real one. Pyrrha gasped. "Two…? How...?"

Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Blake entered the clearing at the exact wrong moment,just in time to see the impossible double.

Worm-Jaune's breath hitched. You shouldn't be here." Real Jaune's expression didn't change.
"You've been doing well," he murmured. "Laughing with her. Fighting beside her. Standing where I should've stood." Worm-Jaune took a step back. "Please… I didn't choose this."

Real Jaune's hands curled into fists. "But you lived it." A metallic click echoed.

The Kabuto Zecter crawled up Jaune's arm, jaunes blood slot eyes blazing with crimson hatred. Pyrrha stepped between them. "Who are you?!" He didn't answer her. His gaze drilled through his double. "You breathe with my memories. Smile with my instincts. Wear the life I lost." Worm-Jaune trembled.
"I'm trying to be good. I'm trying to be what you.." Real Jaune's voice cracked, raw, wounded, furious. "DON'T… use my memories to justify your existence."

Silence crashed over the ruins.
Team RWBY watched, stunned. Weiss whispered: "Two Jaunes?!" Ruby: "Wait— what?! How—?!" Blake: "One's a copy. Or are they twins?But which one.."

Yang understood before anyone else.
Her voice dropped to a whisper:
"Neither of them thinks they're the fake." Blake noticed her expression tighten slightly—a flicker of something old, something she didn't talk about. "Yang? What's wrong?"

Yang didn't look away from the Jaunes.
"…Just be careful," she said quietly. "This kind of situation… it's bad news." Weiss blinked. "What does that mean?"

Yang shook her head once.
"Not here. Not now. Just, whatever happens, don't assume either one is what they look like."
Ruby swallowed hard. "Yang… you know something?" "Later," Yang muttered. "Eyes up. All of you." For Yang Xiao Long, a girl who laughed in the face of danger, to say be careful?
That meant something was very, very wrong.

And a moment later, when the Kabuto Zecter screeched… everyone understood why.

Real Jaune planted his foot backward.
Extended one hand sharply to the side. Fingers pointed forward, calm and precise.

His voice fell into ritualistic certainty:
"Henshin."

The Kabuto Zecter launched from his arm,
As if a crimson bolt slicing the air

CHIIIIIRRRRRRR!

A glowing red ring of energy materialized around his waist. The Kabuto Belt formed in a flash of pulsing light.

The Zecter snapped onto it!!

CLACK.
Jaune gripped the Zecter's horn.
Pulled it up...
Then slammed it down.

Light erupted.
Armor plates materialized out of lightning and force.. panel by panel it slid onto his body one by one..

Until a heavy iron titan hit the ground,
Sliver with a hint of red. Jaure pressure Massive and Unbreakable.


Weiss whispered, trembling, "There's more.. right?" Ruby vibrated with excitement.
"Oh yeah."

Jaune twisted the Zecter Horn. "CAST OFF." KRRRRR-BOOOOOOM!

The Kabuto armor detonated outward like a storm of shrapnel. Blake yanked Yang down.
Weiss summoned a glyph to shield Ruby.
Pyrrha raised her shield, bracing against the shockwave.

Dust swirled. The air crackled. The ground trembled. Through the haze came..

Red.
Sleek.
Perfect.
Deadly.

KAMEN RIDER KABUTO.

The iconic horn angled forward like a spear.
Ruby whispered, awestruck:
"That's the coolest thing I've ever seen."
Yang groaned, "Rubes, not now!"

Kabuto leveled his sword at the trembling Worm-Jaune. His voice echoed through the helmet!
Cold. Metallic. Final.

"You stole my life."
He stepped forward.
"And now…" jaune. "I'm taking it back."

The forest held its breath.
The ruins shook.

The battle between the Jaunes,
Between destiny and imitation,
Between memory and identity,
Between a stolen life and the one who lost it!!!
