Valkorion valued his new life above everything else; dying once was rather uncomfortable, and in fact, since the time he was transmigrated into this new wonderful world, he had decided that he didn't wish to die...

Like never.

He wanted to be immortal.

Since he found out about the existence of the Beyonders and the fact that this world was a weird mashup between ASOIAF and Lord of the Mysteries and perhaps god knows what, Valkorion set his goal rather clearly.

Upon reaching Sequence 2 Saint, Beyonder's lifespan would be greatly enhanced, and upon reaching Sequence 1 Angel, one essentially becomes an immortal and ageless being. Depending on the Pathways, Beyonders could also increase their lifespan in other Sequences, even in Mid Sequences, if they were on the pathway that allowed such things.

But Valkorion didn't aim for just that, no... his goals were far more higher and loftier than becoming an Angel.

Become God.

Not only that, but as someone who was aware of 'Them', he also wanted to ascend to that realm.

To become an untouchable existence in all creation.

One could say that since dying on Earth, Vallkorion became very fearful of death and wanted to live at any cost. And he would do everything in his power to achieve the goal that he set for himself, not matter the cost and no matter the time and effort he would need to give.

After two days of traveling, Valkorion was feeling tired and exhausted, but he finally arrived at the place that was described in one of the journals belonging to the Daerius Tenebraenys and started searching for the ruins that were described in the journal.

According to the journal of Daerius Tenebraenys, who was already half-mad when he was writing the lines in the journal, it should be hidden from the sight of the ordinary and unordinary, and the entrance would only show itself to the people who had a destiny with it.

Daerius Tenebraenys was convinced that it was done by the creator of the place who was resting there for the last time. He himself managed to enter the cavern after the entrance to the Tomb revealed itself to him, but at the same time, he couldn't find the entrance to the deep Tomb.

The mad Dragonlord speculated that it should be because he wasn't fated... or, maybe the being that was buried there wasn't dead in a true sense, and some remnant of its consciousness is still lingering within the Tomb and scheming for its revival.

Whatever the reason it was, Daerius Tenebraenys noted that he sensed something extremely powerful and ancient down in the cave systems, but he couldn't reach it. After he returned from the cave, he realized that everything outside seemed like nothing had changed.

There was not even a sign of entrance to some ancient tomb or even one piece of stone there.

After Daerius Tenebraenys returned back home, he told about the fact that he encountered this thing or place to the Patriarch of the Tenebraenys Family, Lord Freeholder Daenar I. Tenebraenys, Saint of the House Tenebraenys, who too visited this place.

But to the shock of the Lord Freeholder and Sequence 2 Beoyneer, who was geniue Saint, he couldn't not even a single trace of the place that his son was talking about. In the end, it was clear that the owner of the place must be beyond powerful to be able to keep it hidden even from a very powerful Saint.

When Valkorion arrived at the place, it looked exactly like it was described in the journal of the Daerius Tenebarenys the Mad. Very small plateau that was probably as big as ten meters in diameter, surrounded by huge rocks and several ancient trees that were growing all around the place.

It seemed that despite the hostile environment of the Painted Mountains, they were able to thrive in this place. Which was most unusual and most probably a sign that this wasn't natural but most probably supported by the Beyonder Powers of whoever was buried here.

"Nothing... hmmm..."

Valkorion scoured through the area, but in the place where the entrance to the Tomb was supposed to be was nothing. Or, more precisely, there was just rock and mountain, nothing more and nothing less.

At the same time, he was already beginning to grow a bit disappointed seeing this because he really wanted to enter that dammed place. Valkorion knew that it was risky as hell, but at the same time, it was also a huge opportunity to obtain some wealth, artifacts, and who knows what else.

Suddenly, as he sat down and leaned his back on the biggest rock for comfort, he suddenly heard something. Very subtle sound as if something was silently moving, but with each second, it was growing louder and louder.

In a split of a moment, Valkorion realized that he was rolling down from his previous place as the rock behind him was no more, and he was falling down. He immediately grabbed his sword and stabbed it into the ground, trying to stabilize himself.

The lone rays of the sun were lighting the way, the long pathway where he was falling into. With the sword stabbed at the ground, he managed to get up on his two legs and started slowly descending down to the dark and cold place, where the unknown awaited him.

After several minutes of walking down, the light was getting weaker and weaker until he barely saw anything. Valkorion then reached into his backpack and took out a small stick with a crystal at the end of the stick, which then started glowing.

This was one of the smart inventions of the Freehold and allowed him to have a light in the darkness. It was manufactured by the Beyonders obviously and used the presence of the Spiritrons.

Soon enough, he came to the end of the narrow pathway, as he stood in the empty room.

Valkorion used the light source in his hand to see if there was something written on the walls, but there was nothing, and there were also no hidden doors, traps, or levers to pull, just nothing.

Everything was empty.

As he walked around the room for a moment, suddenly, a gust of wind appeared out of nowhere, and he realized that the entrance to which he used to come had disappeared and was blocked.

At the same time, the crystal on his stick cracked, and he was left totally in the darkness. This was everything that he needed to know, that he was being watched, perhaps being even tested or whatever.

One thing was sure; he certainly got farther than his ancestor Daerius Tenebraenys the Mad had got in this place. Though contrary to his crazy ancestor, Valkorion didn't really feel anything when he was standing here.

Maybe because he was just Low Seqqunce Beyonder without any significant power or abilities. Yet, he was getting some kind of uncanny feeling that something was going to happen to him sooner or later.

Suddenly, a weird glowing pattern appeared on the ground, with some symbol that he didn't recognize, aside from it being something in the Dragonese, something that he could really translate, but it was clearly in the Dragonese.

But before he could dwell on what the symbol meant, enormous pressure appeared on his shoulders, forcing him to crash down on the ground in mere seconds as he coughed blood, and the pattern was glowing even more brightly than before.

Even though Valkorion felt the power of gravity greatly and felt that some bones in his body were about to crack, as the power was really terrifying, he didn't relent and continued to resist the invisible pressure on him.

He was doing rather a good job of resisting the pressure from the magical circle or whatever it was, but soon enough, the pressure was dissipating into nothingness, and soon enough, he felt like nothing had happened.

Soon enough, when he looked in front of him, he related that the walls of the place were gone, and there was the entrance to the depths of the cave. Because everything was still dark, he took another of the sticks with the crystal to make light, using it as a torch and went forward.

At this point, because the entrance was closed and he had no way to return back to the outer world, the sole choice that remained for him was to continue and go whenever the pathway was leading.

It's not like he had another choice.

Still, Valkorion steeled himself as he went further because, this time, he was going to the undiscovered territory. His ancestor, Daerius Tenebraenys, never reached that part, and he only arrived at the place where Valkorion was met with intense gravitational pressure.

If he thought about it, he suspected that it was mainly some kind of test, most probably left by the entirety to which the Tomb belonged to test the people who found the entrance. Most probably, finding the entrance to the Tomb itself was the first kind of test.

Now, the second test was the weird gravitational pressure, though if he had to guess, then it was something entirely different, and the gravitation pressure was just a shadow shroud to hide the real test.

Obviously, Valkorion wasn't aware of what the real test was, but he knew that he must have passed successfully if he was allowed to continue further. Nevertheless, something was telling him that he had ended up entering this place.

It was weird, but the whole time he was here, something was telling him that he could find something precious here. Since the moment he entered this area, he was having the feeling...

Like some kind of foretelling...

Deep beneath a towering mountain range, hidden from the gaze of the world, lay a massive underground cavern so vast it could house an entire city. The space was dimly lit by an eerie, bioluminescent glow that emanated from the jagged rock walls and clusters of glowing fungi clinging to the stone like a natural mosaic.

Valkorion looked at the place in wonder because this was the first time he saw something like this. The faint light cast long shadows, dancing on the cavern floor, creating a mysterious and haunting atmosphere.

The moment he entered the cavern from the very long pathway, he started feeling something indescribable. The previous feeling of going into this place was right now much stronger, which prompted Valkorion to conclude that this wasn't a coincidence.

When he stepped into the subterranean expanse, the sheer scale of the chamber was overwhelming. The ceiling is so high above it disappears into darkness, with stalactites hanging down like the fangs of a primordial beast.

'Spatial tunnel... there is no way that I could have walked that much, so it is really true... the being that died must be Angel at least; there is no way that Saint could create something like this, and it was preserved even thousands of years after his demise.'

Valkorion thought as he had arrived at the underground cavern, as it was hard evidence that the entity was still clinging to life...

Somehow.

Valkorion, in fact, didn't know if it was true or not...

The cavern's floor stretched out in all directions, a flat expanse of stone and debris that once might have been bustling with life. But now, it was silent, save for the occasional echo of dripping water that reverberated through the space, as if time itself had paused in this forsaken place.

Scattered throughout the cavern are the remnants of what once was a thriving civilization or perhaps some city, now reduced to rubble and ruin. Ancient stone buildings, their facades crumbling, stand in eerie silence like ghosts of the past.

It was a very weird feeling to go walking through the ruins of the decaying civilization, filled with the ghosts of the long-forgotten past. Valkorion knew that these things were old, probably older than the Valyria itself.

One thing was certain they were for sure from the previous Epoch.

Some are mere shells, with walls half-collapsed, while others retain a semblance of their former grandeur, their weathered arches and columns hinting at the architectural prowess of those who built them.

Stone bridges once spanning over deep, dry chasms now hang broken, leading to nowhere, and stairways spiral into darkness, their steps worn smooth by countless feet long gone.

As he was passing through one of the stone bridges, he realized that this place wasn't as simple as it seemed. If there was such an enormous underground city located beneath the Painted Mountain, then it would be sooner or later discovered by the Valyrians.

In the end, the Valyrian Freehold had several publicly known Angels, and 'They' would certainly notice something like this. So that was leading Valkorion to a single conclusion that almost wanted him to turn around and run for his very own life.

This place wasn't the Tomb of Angel.

Or even King of Angels.

This was the Tomb of True God.

Most probably one that fell in the previous Epochs.

In a split of a second, Valkorion was felled with dread as much as he was filled with excitement at the prospect of finding the Tomb of God,

Unfortunately, that was not possible, so he continued through the ruins as a dense fog of dust hung in the air, stirred only by the faintest breeze coming from some unknown fissure in the mountains above.

The once-great structures, now in various stages of decay, are adorned with intricate carvings and strange symbols that tell a forgotten story, though Valkorion managed to recognize the language as Dragonese as he went closer to some of the structures of the city to read the runes.

"Some sort of dialect... hmm... let's see..."

He then went closer as he was attempting to read several of the symbols.

"Dawn, Age... dammit, this place is at least from the 1st Epoch... if this was released to the world, it would cause turmoil like nothing else in the recent millennia. Artifact from the 1st Epoch: Age of Dawn."

Valkorion almost stumbled down when he managed to translate several symbols that probably symbolized the Age when the building was built.

1st Epoch... Age of Dawn.

It was a time of true wonders, a time when powerful Beyonders were practically everywhere where an eye could see and mighty Extraordinary Creatures ruled the lands that were now inhabited by the species of Men, Dwarf or Elf.

According to the legends that were preserved, in this Age, various Supernatural Races came into existence. In the beginning years of the Age of Dawn, it was chaotic, dark, and insane; there were not many records about it, not to mention from the Age of Dawn itself.

There were only partial records about the 1st Epoch, the Age of Dawn, and what happened during that Epoch. Valkorion only read some tidbits from the books that were present in the Tenebraenys Manor in the Catharys.

Unfortunately, there was only one short work done by some Maester from the Citadel Order, and there were not many mentions of the Age of Dawn. It was still, though generally agreed, that the Age of Dawn started with the birth of the first Ancient Gods.

The First Generation of Ancient Gods appeared one after another. The sky, the land, the sea, and the underground world slowly changed from disorderliness to orderliness.

After the supernatural races obtained a certain level of intelligence and had their own languages, creatures finally had some knowledge of history. The first language, Elvish, was created by the First Generation Elf King and the Dragonese by the First Great Wyrm of their kind.

Right now, they were living in the Year of Thelos 9,885 of the Sixth Epoch: Age of Gods.

And considering that the Age of Dawn was nearly 7,000 Years ago, this place was ancient, and most likely, its existence was only supported by the entity that was inhabiting this place.

At the same time, it seemed that only the city and its ruins were preserved in the merciless passage of time because as he advanced through the ruins of the underground city, for several hours, he didn't see anything else aside from the stones and rock.

Not even a single weapon or armor, for example.

Or perhaps even a piece of a gold coin if he had to be modest.

Some of the buildings appear to have been temples or churches, with large, shattered statues of something that seemed to be the main God that this city was worshipping because the biggest statues, even though partially destroyed, all looked the same to a certain degree.

Not only that, but there were also many other statues of Mythical Creatures, both familiar and alien, as their expressions were frozen in time. The statues of the Mythical Creatures were observing the city, watching over the ruins as silent sentinels.

Amidst this desolation, there is one structure that stands apart from the rest.

In the very center of the subterranean cavern, untouched by the ravages of time or decay, was a lone altar. It sits on a raised platform, carved from a single piece of smooth, dark stone, gleaming as though it had just been polished.

The altar was rather simple in design that, Valkorion had to admit, yet there was an unmistakable sense of power and purpose radiating from it, as if it held the key to some ancient secret long forgotten by the world above.

He recognized the stone, the material from which it was made from, because it was the Obsidian, or sometimes also called Dragonstone. It was the primary building material that the Valyrians used in all of their constructions.

Obsidian is harder than iron, steel, granite or even diamond. It was true Extraordinary Construction Material, created by the secrets of the Valyrian Magic and flames of a dragon, with the condition that it must be at the older dragon that was providing the flames, or else it would be impossible to create a solid block of Obsidian.

The stone seems to hum with an energy that pulses faintly, a heartbeat in the stillness.

Around the altar, the ruins seem to draw back, as if they are afraid to encroach on this sacred space. No debris littered the ground here; it is as if an invisible force has kept the area around the altar pristine, untouched by the decay that has claimed the rest of the underground city.

As Valkorion looked around, it was probably the only place in this city, that was in such perfect condition and wasn't destroyed or decayed. It was visible that someone was maintaining its pristine state.

There were also no signs of footprints, no marks of any living thing having come close to it in millennia. It wasn't that surprising, considering most probably the majority of people couldn't pass even the first test, less being said about the second one for the better.

It was highly possible that he was a single person who came here for the first time in the past seven thousand years or so. If such was the truth, it would be a staggering discovery that he would have to keep for himself for a very long time, or else the consequences would be dire.

Valkorion stepped forward in front of the altar, as he looked at the lone structure, isolated in its mystery, surrounded by the remnants of a world that has crumbled to dust.

Upon closer inspection, the altar also had several runes in the Dragonese, deeply etched into its surface, yet unweathered. Though this time, he couldn't read them at all because he sensed that every single one evoked a feeling of power.

The reverence and dread.

The holiness of True God.

In the center of the altar, there was a huge rune, bigger than the rest and beneath it, a shallow depression, perhaps meant to hold sacrificial ceremonies or rituals for the True God that this city was worshipping.

It wasn't hard to tell that this place was a very strict theocracy when it was still existing and alive because the altar of the True God was exactly in the middle of the city. Position as the most important structure in the entire place, which was also signaling the stance of the population toward the God they worshipped.

Fanatics.

Zealots.

As he stepped forward, he noticed something... the air around the altar was thicker, charged with an energy that made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. It feels as if the space itself is alive, waiting.

Suddenly, he felt the gaze on his back more clearly.

It was observing him from the moment he entered this dammed place.

Ruins, where catastrophe befell this civilization, as the entire subterranean city perished under the passage of time, only the altar of the True God remained unscathed like it was made yesterday.

Someone would consider this entire place as a relic of a forgotten world, preserved not, but certainly remaining and resisting the passage of time as much as it was possible for it. It was a rather grim reminder of destruction and time.

Mortality... something that dreaded the young Valyrian too much.

The silence is deafening here, rather uncomfortable and disturbing if he had to say something about it. It was as if the cavern itself was holding its breath, waiting for the next chapter of its long-forgotten tale to unfold.

The underground space was enormous; Valkorion could see that even despite the colossal emptiness and crumbling ruins, it could probably fit some of the cities of the Earth of the 21st Century with millions of inhabitants relatively easily.

He shook his head as, unbeknownst to him; he was standing in front of the alter, looking at it intensively, with his dagger in his right hand as he cut his left hand and let several drops of his blood fall on the rune in the middle of the altar.

The very moment his blood came into contact with the altar, the entire subterranean world started violently shaking. Stones were falling apart, and many of the buildings that were previously barely holding together were now crumbling like a house of cards.

The next moment, the entire subterranean world was lit up in bright light, far brighter than anything that Valkorion had seen before, and instantly, he felt some suppression on him that was stronger than anything else that he had experienced before.

He sensed that his blood was boiling, rather strongly at that, and it was forcing him to submit to the being that was manifesting from the light itself.

Whatever Valkorion did, he just realized that he was most probably compelled to drop a few drops of his blood onto the altar, and it seemed that the remnants of the True God had revealed itself.

It was an enormous draconic creature that wore a metallic suit of armor similar to that of the traditional Dragoon armor that he saw Dragonriders of the Freehold to wear, and was more humanoid in appearance.

He has a dragon's tail, and the wings of his armor are made of swords, 15 on each side, himself also brandishing one. The being was several tens of meters in height, but most probably, it was just lowering his height to a manageable size, or else, it wouldn't even fit the subterranean cavern properly.

"Descendant of the Tenebrae... it seems that the Fate has brought us together in this moment for a purpose."

The being spoke as his majestic words reverberated through subterranean cavern; what was more surprising through, even though the being clearly spoke in the Dragonese, Valkorion was able to understand every single word perfectly without any misconception.

He immediately realized that this was most probably due to the boon of the entity in front of him.

Tenebrae, the name, was spoken with reverence within the Valyrian Freehold, an Angel of unimaginable power who was one of the Founders of the Valyrian Freehold. Mighty warrior and sorcerer, even more powerful Beyonder.

'He' was one of the Beoynders who stood in front of the unimaginable horrors of the night that threatened the Valyrian Peninsula and banished them back, Baelar, another Angel and founder of the Freehold.

"Like your Ancestor in youth... so weak, yet filled with great ambition and potential... if only he didn't Fall. But many will fall on the journey, and not many can withstand the passage of time, descendants of the Tenebrae. Indeed... the tests have judged you to be worthy of my Quest."

That being said, with power and authority, that left no room for argument, and Valkorion knew that it was basically decided in his place. Not to mention, he knew that even if it was possible, he couldn't refuse, or else, he would be turned into nothingness by the entity in front of him.

Even though this was most probably just remnants of the Spirit of True God, dealing with any Low Sequence Beyonder was still as easy as breathing for Valkorion. Just one look would be enough to smite him from existence.

"Still... it saddens me that nobody has remembered my Honorable Name and existence, everything forgotten in the annals of history, washed by the rivers of time into the oblivion where only few would dare to enter."

As the being spoke once more, Valkorion listened to it, not daring to speak unless he was spoken to. Right now, preserving his very own life was the best course of action, though he wanted to agree with the being because he had no clue who the True God that fell here was.

Not even a little bit, and he had to admit that he was a rather educated person, as he read through almost all books of the Tenebraenys Manor and its library. All compendiums were written by the Valyrian Scholars or Maesters of the Citadel Order.

Due to the fact, that most Maesters of the Citadel Order were of the Reader Pathway, they were rather apt at scribing down the knowledge and other things like writing down history.

"You may speak, mortal..."

The being looked down at him as it painted at him an enormous golden-black sword that was being held in its right hand.

"No."

That was everything that Valkorion said, and simultaneously, it was also everything that the being in front of him needed to hear.

"I am Bahamuth the Astral Draconian, True God of the Draconian Pathway. True God from the long-forgotten Era and God of All Dragons, the Bladekeeper, God of War, and God of the Swords."

Those were some imposing titles, and the longer he listened to them, thinking over them, he remembered them.

True God of the Dragons in the 1st Epoch, one of the Ancient Gods, Bahamuth the Draconian, one of the most powerful Gods, was said to have perished to the unknown enemy in an unknown time, but his fall was felt by all.

From his shattered Godhood, the Five-Headed Dragon God rose in its place, with representations of Balerion, Meraxes, Vhagar, Syrax and Tessarion. Each of the heads of the Five-Headed Dragon God was said to be a Dragon on its own or whatever.

But that all could be traced to the Draconian.

He was the first one.

The original Dragon God.

Valkorion knew it only due to some mentions in the journals, but the name of the was not spoken in the Valyrian Freehold.

"So the pretenders are still alive? Traitors of the Oath."

The fury of the Astral Draconian was visible even to Valkorion, who carefully observed the remnant of the once mighty Ancient God with part fear and part reverence.

"If you complete my Quest mortal, descendant of the Tenebrae, I shall reward you greatly. I, God of Judgment, the Oaths are sacred. If you give me the Oath of compliance, I will give you the Oath of Acceptance as well. You can call it partnership during my journey to life once more as my revival is imminent."

Valkorion was deeply thinking about it, but knowing that he couldn't really refuse in the face of sure death, he was doing what was required of him. He knew very well that in front of True Gods, everything else was inconsequential.

Even Sequence 1 Angels were insignificant in the might of a True God, especially if they were from the same Pathway as the God itself. In the end, Valkorion agreed to the "proposal"; hopefully, the situation would be better than it seemed.

At least he could get something from it and have some backing in this dammed world.

Valkorion wasn't stupid; he knew that the ancient entity wanted him to start some sort of revival process for him, which would be lengthy as hell, but if he succeeded, then there was nothing more valuable than having True God behind his back.

But if that was the case.

"Then the Five-Headed Dragon God of the Valyria must die."

Valkorion calmly stated as he stood up from his kneeling position.

"Then you shall become my Herald, Valkorion Nerona... Herald of the Astral Draconian."

When the Bahamuth, the Astral Draconian, said that, he felt some sort of connection forming between him and the remnant consciousness of the True God from the ancient past. Not only did he feel the connection being formed, but he also felt a weird power dwelling deep within him.

"Then as the Quest, the first one in this Path, would be to work together with the chosen one of the R'hllor to obtain something for his own devises."

With the decree of the Bahamuth the Draconian, it seemed that his program for the foreseeable future was already decided.

When Valkorion heard that the R'hollor, his mind raced for the time being because that was the True Name of the Lord of Light, which was a rather prominent God in the ASOIAF canon, especially after the fall of the Valyrian Freehold, the Faith of Lord of Light was widespread through the entire Essos and reaching even the Asshai and Strygoi.

"R'hollor is one of the Great Wyrms that embarked on the Beyonder Pathway and right now, he is standing at the Sequence 1. Instead of advancing directly to Sequence 0, the cunning bastard has decided to become the King of Angels at first, most probably so it won't attract the attention of the Traitors."

Bahamuth spoke in a deep voice, the entire subterranean world trembling when he said the word "traitor", Valkorion suspected that it must be related to the Five-Headed Dragon God that rose in the prominence after his very own fall.

Ironically, though, the Five-Headed Dragon God was the primary God that was worshipped within the Valyrian Freehold. All of his representations were worshipped as separate avatars.

Balerion, the Main God, the God of Dragons.

Meraxes, God of the War.

Vhagar, God of the Stars.

Syrax, God of the Elements.

Tessarion, Goddess of Judgement.

These were the representations of the Five-Headed Dragon Gods, five heads, each head was one avatar, and each avatar was one Domain. And everything this was held by Bahamuth the Draconian during his peak as the strongest Ancient God and even more.

"My Lord, If I may ask, who are these traitors?"

Valkorion asked carefully as he looked at the towering figure of the Astral; at the same time, he wanted to confirm his suspicion and obtain even more of the mystical knowledge. As they say, knowledge is power, and in the world of Beyonders, knowledge is the supreme power.

"In the long bygone Era where Ancient Gods roamed the world, I had six Great Wyrms under my command. Each one of them was comparable to the King of Angels, and each one of them embarked on the Path of Beyonder, making them Dual-Attributed Extraordinary Creatures."

Extraordinary Creatures could also drink Beyonder Potion and embark on some Pahtway, though for them, it was several times more dangerous than for any other species. For example, the Dragons...

Dragons themselves were Extraordinary Creatures, regardless of their subspecies, and as they matured, they grew in strength, and most ancient of them could become comparable to angels.

At the same time, they could even drink Beyonder Potion and become Beyonder, essentially walking on two paths simultaneously. Even though this would tremendously elevate their power and grant them a chance to ascend to Godhood, it was a hundred times more dangerous for them to be Beyonder than for other intelligent species.

Laws of the Cosmos were fair, and as the price for embarking on the Path of Beyonder as already Extraordinary Creature, the prize they must pray for is a steep one.

"Five of them wanted to become Gods themselves, and thus they fought over the remains of my shattered Godhood. In the end, every one of the five managed to get part of it until they realized that in the state they were in, no one could ascend to Sequence 0, no matter how hard they tried or whatever they did. In the end, one of them, Balerion, the Angel of Dragons, proposed that they should all merge together to ascend as new Draconians. And thus, the Five-Headed Dragon God came into existence."

Valkorion stood there with a shocked expression because this was practically against everything that the Church of the Dragon Gods was spouting about their deity and how the God of their rose to ascendance.

Another tremor ran through the subterranean city, this time from sadness more than anger, but another one ran through Valkorion as well because it seemed that the Five-Headed Dragon God was, in the end, an amalgamation of five different Dragons of Sequence 1 that became Kings of Angels.

Now, it made more sense why they were often worshipped as separate entities, even though in the basic dogmas of the Church of the Dragon Gods, it was always written that the Five-Headed Dragon God was one singular entity.

With just a little twist, each of his heads had a different and separate personality.

Now, it was all making sense.

On the other side, Valkorion was sure that this was something that someone like him, just lowly Sequence 7 Beyonder, shouldn't know. If he had to bet, then even the most prominent Beyonders in the Valyrian Freehold don't know the truth of the Five-Headed Dragon God for whatever reason.

Maybe only some of the Angels are aware of this secret, but for the greater good of the Valyrian Freehold, they would rather keep it to themselves.

"Only R'hllor remained loyal till the end as he was someone who pursued his own Path, not related to the Pathway that I walked on. Till this day, R'hllor is helping me to revive while at the same time cultivating his very own power. And that will be your tasks for the time being..."

Valkorion remained silent on the topic; the only way to uncover more would be either through the future Lord of Light or one of his followers.

"Once you finish the quest, you will receive Boon for your efforts. Now you can go."

As the enormous Dragonoid creature stated, his figure dissipated into thousands of crystalline-like shards that fell all around the subterranean cavern, disappearing as they had never existed in the first place.

'Maybe everything sounded too good... go into here, find a treasure and leave. In the endless clusterfuck of things, I got myself entrapped in the schemes of True Gods and Angels. What a bad luck... though... it could have ended far worse.'

Valkorion thought as he looked at the place where the fallen God was just a few moments ago and pondered over the matters. It was evident to him that he had managed to fall into some kind of rabbit hole, but things were not really that bad.

If he managed to aid 'Him' in reviving, then the benefits he would receive would be unimaginable.

'Also, helping another one achieve Godhood is priceless. 'He' would later become one of the major religious forces in the entire Essos; having 'His' gratitude and friendship would be worth more than all gold in the Westerlands.'

However, he had to admit that this was also something that he wanted.

Obtaining a connection to someone truly powerful would allow him to gather resources and power before the fall of the Valyrian Freehold.

Now that he had thought about it, for the whole time, he hadn't really heard anything about even remotely connected to the Lord of Light or Temple of the Lord of Light in the Valyrian Freehold, which meant that they must have been acting as a Secret Organization.

Even though the Valyrian Freehold had a certain degree of religious freedom, it was only applied to the religions that didn't have conflict with that of the Church of the Dragon Gods.

Considering the relationship between the future Lord of Light and the Five-Headed Dragon God, it was no wonder if the Temple of Lord of Light operated within the shadows in the Valyrian Freehold, as even their mere existence could be dangerous for the Red Priests.
