Zofia Xia has been down in the dumps lately. Although she has achieved her dream of being a vtuber, things aren't going well. The agency she belongs to, DreamLink, is on the verge of collapse because her genmates are at each other's throat. Every day is just non-stop arguments, with no end in sight. One night, she wishes that everyone could go back to the way they were before going to sleep.
Only to find herself waking up as her vtuber avatar, the knight-in-training Rayna Klus. In the world on the other side of consciousness, she encounters her genmates. But they aren't the people as she knows them to be in reality, instead they're also their vtuber avatars. Unlike their real selves, however, her genmates inside this strange world are on good terms with each other. Smiling in one another's presence, bantering without a hint of malice. They're still friends. It's everything Zofia hopes for and much more.
Yet, despite it all being a dream, her genmates remember her interaction with them. Even if it's just a gut feeling or a vague idea floating in their head, they show clear signs of being influenced by their encounters in Zofia's dreams. It shouldn't be possible, but it is.
Perhaps, this is the opportunity Zofia has been wishing for this time. If the dream's truly influencing reality, then there's a chance her friends could stop hating each other. And if so, she'll do her best and...
