Silver Swallow has passed away

The cause he mentioned back In December was Stage IV cancer, small intestine. Was completely blocked, according to him and it was terminal unless a miracle occurred. Sadly, it was not the case.

That's a great pity - he was an excellent writer, and afforded me many hours of entertainment over the years. The fandom is diminshed for his loss . . . And I wouldn't have wished that way to go on anyone.

May he rest in peace, indeed.
 
I may not have known Silver Swallow in any form… but I cracked a 'stupid grin' while reading his Fate Grand Orgasm story for the first time.

In the last few months, I've lost a family member to natural causes and then a neighbour to a traffic accident… tragedies like these remind me that I have one life and that I shouldn't be wasting it away, even if I need that lesson hammered into my thick skull from time to time.

While a mournful period this may be for those who have known him… I appreciate having knowledge of his passing — closure is better than silence.
