"Funny thing, they don't seem to have capes here. Or Huntsmen. Which is why we're standing out...a little too much." Face growing red, she pointed a finger.
Judging by the fact that he still has two arms he did not get into hair ruffling habit with Yang so it was probably with one of his many sisters. I don't think Lisa (or rather Sarah) would care being treated like a little sister.Knowing well the uphill struggle of persuading an Annoying Blonde otherwise, Jaune rolled his eyes, and dropped a hand on her head to ruffle her hair.
Tattletale stared.
He retracted his hand. "I…didn't mean to do that."
"R-right. Um." Tattletale swallowed.

Actually, the PRT's threat level has nothing to do with the strength of an ability. The PRT's threat level indicates the danger a parahuman represents to a squad of PRT soldiers. Even if it were based on ability strength, Lisa wouldn't think Toma is a Trump 10. Hatchet Face was a power nullifier and brute, yet no one rated him as a Trump 10.

It's more than single-owner proprietorship, Jaune doesn't have any idea that such a thing as other languages exist. It's just as foreign as other money to him.Oh, my. The best part is that she knows he did that purely out of fondness. His completely innocent strength is about to be her undoing, and she's just shown the first sign of cracking.
Of course she is! A minor employee would be nervous doing business in a language she hardly knows, or having to deal with strangely dressed outsiders, or having to make unusual decisions like whether to accept unknown currency; put all three together? Nobody but the actual owner of the shop could possibly accept that transaction. But Jaune's more used to single-owner proprietorships, isn't he?
I love that you can get so much mileage out of the difference between their worlds and the ones they interact with.
Eh she's master 9 at most, dangerous as hell, but no unlimited range, limited to controlling people, and not as far as I know instantly aware of anything entering her range, she's scary, but she's not even Nilbog level scary much less Simurgh scary.Imagine if they meet Shokuhou, who's a Master: yes.
Bring the brown pants XD
"How do you have different countries- sorry, 'kingdoms' without having different languages?"Jaune doesn't have any idea that such a thing as other languages exist. It's just as foreign as other money to him.
"How do you have different countries- sorry, 'kingdoms' without having different languages?"
He is a brother indeed.Jaune, you have seven sisters, don't you know the first thing about interacting with little girls? Never call them childish, especially when they have the ability to absolutely demolish you.
She wanted to keep Jaune to herself.Goddammit, Tattletale, Jaune was so close to realize Pyrrha's feelings. He almost had the biggest revelation in his life. But she just had to ruin it.
Those talking about Pyrrha ought to remember that this Jaune comes from a universe where some edgy contractor was fucking all of the girls.
Huh. I somewhat remember reading the first volume of that.I recently started reading the Hard Luck Hank series and relied on it as a good option for Tattletale and Jaune for a long jump in the future. It's a sci-fi setting but focused on a backwater criminal. This seems like a setting where there's a lot of weird sci-fi stuff they could loot, and it would require a good mix of Tattletales and Jaune's talents. It's also a good read I recommend.
Railgun would demonstrate her displeasure at the separation from a certain boy in short orderAh, Jaune-Jaune and Tatts meet with a Biri-Biri. Could this be a new party member? Pfffft, probably not. Still, it's going to be hilarious, especially if the magic users catch on to their presence.
Second verse, same as the first, only at a fraction of the power. Which is still 50,000 volts

The language thing is the biggest part of Jaune's confusion, with the completely logical reaction on the employee's part looking a lot more suspicious when the correct and obvious answer was removed from the equation. It's more than single-owner proprietorship, Jaune doesn't have any idea that such a thing as other languages exist. If Touma ever goes to Earth Bet, watch he get be unlucky enough to get slapped with the same treatment he got from Academy City. Thanks for reading! Thanks for the Chapter!
He is a brother indeed.
Also Jaune seems to be gaining new little sisters at a steady rate.
She wanted to keep Jaune to herself.

At this rate if Remnant ever pops up for a jump Tattletale is going to vote "Hell no!""That's wild. On Remnant, the idea of robots serving us in our daily lives is straight out of scifi. The best we've managed so far are robot soldiers."
"Excuse me, you have what?"
It became his turn to stare. "I'm getting mixed signals here. You mean, your universe created robots, and the first thing they're used for wasn't to serve as an army?"
It's a really good series. If you need something to listen to while traveling the audible voice actor is really good. At some points in the series the space station is either a hive of scum and villainy or the beacon of galactic culture and trade.
No one in this conversation can believe what's going on and it's great.Meanwhile, Tattletale cannot fathom an underpaid part-timer who would not shove those gold coins in a pocket then give the pair everything they ask for, the boss be damned.
At this rate if Remnant ever pops up for a jump Tattletale is going to vote "Hell no!"
It will get to that, yes.Hey RandomAutumnMoon, random question. Do you plan to eventually add lewds or romance to this story, or will it stay sfw?
How positively scandalous!
Jaune: We have lesbians, gays and normal people. What the hell is bisexual?
I just don't know how to joke about Remnant having mostly bisexual and being straight is not a thing there. Or would it be better to say that they don't have devision based on sexual orientation at all?Normal people... damn, well Jaune grew up in the countryside...
