Sneaking His Way into the Multiverse (RWBY Jaune, WC-lite mechanics)

So, question, wouldn't someone like Jaune react to that universe like.
Marines: all good guys, allies.
Pirates: all bad guys, kill on sight.

From what I understand there aren't any good bandit on Remnant and pirates are just bandits of the sea.
For about 5 minutes yes, then Lisa would tell him about things like Buster calls, the Marines allowing the slave trade, and other atrocities of the World Government, at which point Jaune would begin dividing pirates into 2 categories, true bandits and rebels being called bandits by the evil government.

nah , there are a couple new manga

like gagao... gaupaga..... fuck it, the manga about items that have deep emotional attachment to the owner becoming superpowered hax items when feed with anima.

of course if ya really wanna add some Suffering Builds Character, JJK.
get a Finger in Jaune or have him get the most important question by Goato, "Whats your type of Woman"

that or a hentai, que Doom/Overkill music

How about something silly yet serious? Get him to Baki the Grappler universe and have him learn the power of Imagination that they have.

Baki, with the power of squizo: I was able to avoid your attack without moving by imagining myself smaller than I am.

Jaune, raised with anime logic: I see, that makes sense, I think I'm starting to understand it.

Lisa, the only one with common sense and whose power can't explain it: NO IT ISN'T, THIS IS BULLSHIT.

Better catgirl than Blake, learning the Cat Style Kung Fu from Retsu.

If we going to send them to learn some anime martial arts, why not send into the JoJo Bizarre Adventure? Not for Stands but for Hamon. Do you remember how much cool thing characters were doing with Hamon? They don't even need to be really good with it, just enough to learn a few situational but useful techniques.

Jaune: ACCEPT MY ENERGY AND RISE AGAIN! SPECIAL YELLOW OVERDRIVE!

Tattletale: Are you really using Sun Kung fu to raise a flower?

Jaune: We have been gone for a whole week. This is an emergency situation. My poor plant has withered.

If we are going by to suggest cool ideas, a short jump could be Jaune and co finding themself on a certain path in the woods, heading toward a certain cabin. Whatever they find themselves alone on the path or giving Mr. Long Quiet company on one of his visits.

Having jaune and tattletale inherent difference in how they treat and trust strangers(heh) would give shifty a headache, and you can pull it in quiet a few directions.

Yes, I know that it takes years to learn Haki, but even the basics of this technique can give a great advantage. As for the devil's fruit, given the constant chaos and confusion in One Piece, it seems to me that after almost every battle you can find one or two fruits within the battlefield. But to be honest, I just like the idea of going on a real sea adventure, plus the gang will be quite funny to look at in pirate costumes.
Upd.
I mean, come on, what a child who grew up at the beginning of the century, with all the new media about pirates, would not want to go on a real pirate adventure. At least in childhood. And the world of One Piece can have a pretty good loot.
I think Pirates of the Caribbean is more their speed. Plenty of actual magic and gold for them to steal, and the East India Trading Company is right there for a morally justifiable reason to be a bandit. Jack also canonically frees slaves.

I second this, I would love to see some jack shenannigans

A reminder that guys like the Straw Hats and Whitebeard are exceptions.

90% of pirates are exactly the kind of lawless marauder of the seas you'd expect.

And 90% of marines are just normal people either just looking for a job, or want to protect people.

Normally, I'd agree with you. But given recent revealations, marines no longer can be trusted unless they deserted. Believe me when I say this: Kaido ruling over the world is less bad an outcome than the WG remaining in power. Hell, even Blackbeard is a better result.

You also have to consider non-WG associated countries where the perspective would differ a lot.

In general, you are right, but I would divide pirates into three unequal parts: 60% are bandits and murderers, about 30% are people like Bart, like bandits, but in general they do no harm, 10% are people with a purpose and a personal code of honour.

Also, WC scenarios tend to stick toward the parts most shown in the canon show, and/or characters that are most shown. So the general statistic is quite of a mute point where jaune is most likely to stick his landing in the vacancy of the main crew and their allies, or near the most commonly shown antagonists.

Given how on board they are for genocide and slavery I don't believe you. I am now pretty sure that most of the horrid shit laid at the pirates feet is chump change in comparison to the World Governmet.

The pirates maybe take over a country. The world government endorses a world wide slave ring and literally genocides nation states.

Nah. The only good marine is a dead one.

Fuck, I'd love to read a fic where Jaune or team JNPR joins the straw hats

They'd fit really well together.
