Some weird spacing issue with text pasting.

I have no idea what's going on. I amt rying to copy an update from my story from here https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13807501/1/The-Violet-Bear-s-Tumultous-Journey

to here https://forum.questionablequesting....om-hearts-1-senran-kagura.14051/#post-4077186 I've had no problems with this beforehand, and I liked how when I did it previously, the site kept my spacing and formatting perfectly.

I've done nothing different, and my usual trick of posting my fic onto AO3's editor and pasting onto here like i did on spacebattles did nothing wrong. what's going on?

Formatting doesn't necessarily paste correctly into XenoForo 1. If you don't have much formatting, go into bbcode mode and paste there. Then preview to fix spacing.

Yeah see thats the thing.. i never had to do that. i posted a story here frm spacebattles, just copied and pasted and maybe added some spacing lines? had very few formatting issues, and it kept italics, bolds, everything. in fact, it was better than spacebattles in that regard because i had to do less work in putting this on here. there are very obvious spaces in the document, but now its acting like im on spacebattles. https://forum.questionablequesting....r-wixoss-megaman-battle-network-wixoss.14126/ this is the story im talking about. i didn't need to rebolden or italicize words, and the spacing was kept intact when copied over.

well the problem is somewhat fixed so thank you(going over the story again) but now theres a new problem where if i italicize a selected phrase, it affects the last 7 words as well. This is legit pissing me off.
