That is one way. Notice that mission is designed to be short, not whole ass campaign but you cannot be forced out of mission. That why I say you guys can just explore or stay after mission end until either you die or you return back to escort. No worries for other members of your group leaving. The escort ship will return when you call for it.

Basically the standard cultivation style of number one dungeon supplier is you take a animal and a adjective and combine it for the style for example the bombastic beetle style it can cause explosions a technique to draw attention like the definition of bombastic wears heavy armor and a shield like a carapace

Understandable. Sai is a version of that. It is both a "system" and a benefactor. It gives missions, rewards, shops, etc.
 
Just keep in mind the backstory has only been brought up like once and it been a while so I probably don't remember somethings right or iffy on the details


Basically in the backstory of the novel under a old Chinese emperor there were 12 clans/family/groups named after the 12 chinese zodiac with most of them using the a cultivation style based on there animal don't remember if not all of them was focused fighting or if some others was focused on other stuff.



But there was one hidden one the panda clan they were at lest in charge of acquiring funding a running business that sort of thing they were somewhat tricked by the emperor after gathering almost all of them when they were granted there wish was basically help us what we do best. Cause of this all there souls and essence was combined/used as fuel to create the system.



Emperor thought the wish basically went to wast since there was no more panda clan.



But as is standard there was one so his and his descendants till the grandfather of the mc of the story was the current main host and part of the army his daughter and son in law was murdered he asked the system to revive her the system refused because with there dantian broken it would take to much resources/power to revive unlike the normal way and yes revival is possible by somewhat normal people.. turns out with hindsight the system should have done it



so them the grandfather went on a revenge kick hunted the group did it went to far uncaring of the outcome.



He and his grandson as a baby the last possible users was gonna be killed so the system used it last resort rewinding time to before he started his revenge kick as well as make it so vast majority of people forgot about him ever owning a business/corporation. And took away host privilege to him but that costed the system so much in resources and parts of the system itself it was basically both running on fumes and on it last leg when the mc inherited it.
 
The system is focused on business with a slanted bias towards what the user likes this case dungeon suppliers basically to practice cultivation you should fight and in the old days fought beasts animals or demons but as the population grew and laws were created and enforced they made rules about that kind of thing so it harder to impossible depending on certain things which is where dungeon suppliers were created basically by using any of the following or combination of cultivation techniques magic yes there different.

Technology similar to hard light to just plan rearing best them selfs to provide service to fullfile that need.
 
And yeah this cultivation story is basically set in present day earth

And how the dungeon supplier system works is basically Pokemon travel to different dimensions capture things build scenarios in instances and let peach run thru them basically works like Little dimensions or instant dungeons from the gamer webcomic if you seen that or what ever the. More common name for that in the gamer webcomic

And Basically it like rooms in multiplayer games when customers go through a level/scenario different places but still the same enemies/environment

And the captured things remember eatch of them

Hmm? No? The worlds will have its list that might be separate depends on their tier. Wouldn't want to introduce dangerous missions too early and just get all of you killed. Missions will fluctuate and rotated in and out over all worlds to ensure not dullness while increasing in complex as you guys explore and unlock more systems of Sai.

Just got a idea to fix itzazumi and falin if she goes dragon mode if you do a mission for battle through the heavens

Very likely you will have to leave the mission area to even try to find them since unless they are plagued by very curious anomaly, Sai wouldn't be that interested in going out of it way to give you mission/reward to save them. And that is even assuming the mission in their world take place in same timeline as they are. For all you know, they either finish their plot, still a child or not yet born or long since dead, etc. I won't go out of my way to screw that over like that but just a remainder that mission can be very vary especially at higher rank. Think of them as singularity from Fate where it is basically alternative ending, bad end, not canon, what if, etc.

Also on that notice. Who? I look at wikia for Battle through heaven but find no mention of them unless they are under different name.

From dungeon meshi just the idea I got is from Battle thru the heavens check dm in a minute
