• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Starry Eyes [Worm/Lovecraft Mythos]

She stared in for a good few moments, before letting out a rather nasal, "Jesus."
Taylor: "Unlikely, though there's always the Book of Mormon."

Rune: "You must be joking."

Taylor: "Well they're both things that came back, right?"

Rune: "Great, now I'm physically and spiritually nauseous."

When this popped up in my alerts, I had entirely forgotten that this was even on QQ. Clearly I followed it at some prior point, though.

And yesh, Starfall actually has a really rather terrifying master power, doesn't she? It's mostly a little buried under all the other stuff she's got going on, but the fact that it applies to human also...!

Four more times the tremors and booms resounded through the tunnels, none as strong or loud as the first. That fourth time, though, brought about more change than all the others before it.

I didn't need them anymore, as lighting had flickered to life near the edges of the high ceiling. Lighting that was clearly artificial in nature, but not in any way that I was familiar with. Pencil-thin lines of bright, sickly green light hung in the air in loosely coiled quadruple helixes with no apparent source, segments spinning lazily in alternating directions and separated by odd, glyph-like designs formed of the same light. In a few places the lines passed through stalactites to no apparent effect.
The start of the second paragraph makes it really clear that something is missing in-between these two paragraphs. Could be a missing paragraph, could just be something missing from the start of the second paragraph.

I let my lights fade into nothing, absorbing them as I looked around.

Error: variable referenced before assignment.
Seems like the former statement was second before, and you forgot to reword it after reordering.

It's nice to see the accidental teenage Cthulhu is still kicking. Not sure how I feel about the fusion elements yet, but it can end up very fun.
