Still no idea what this forum is actually for. Advice?

I was recommended to post stories here, but after over a week here, I can't find anything summing up what this place is, what type of content would be appropriate here (yes, I read the rules, so I do know the limits, but I mean vibe of the community, wise). Don't really get what the quests are or how that all works (doesn't look like the CYOA-related content I was making when someone sent me here). Just very lost and can't find any direction. The FAQs weren't any help. Really seems like something that should be presented up front for new users.

Could someone direct me to information, or let me know more about this place?

Mostly in the form of fanfics but some original stuff gets made too.

Quests are basically stories where the writer lets readers vote to guide the direction of the next chapter.

That or normal fics that have some risque content, like girls kissing girls or extreme han*hol*ing.

The vibe is simple: here the mods understand that what you write is not necessarily what you do, that the portrayal of illegal or immoral acts in litterature is not in fact illegal or immoral by itself.

Here you are free of the classic hypocrisy of writing Naruto Shinobi commiting war crimes from the Geneva bucket list, but « aged-up to 16 years old because otherwise the romance would be icki UwU »

General is general topics. There is some overlap with creative writing index, but those threads usually not as focused on a single work.

Porn for the porn god, smut for the smut throne. Post some pictures of anime tittys or write Naruto gang banging Sakura and you'll fit right in. This websites pretty chill just avoid politics or judging people and we'll all have a good time.
