Pleeeeeeeeease give Vergil a chance? It's not like with Dante, he's basically One of Us inasmuch as there is an Us.

Can you imagine how fucked up canon would be by the presence of a Naruto who's competent and fairly bright, and yet just as much of a social retard, to the point of losing the Therapy no Jutsu perk? Half the idealistic bullshit of the series goes out the fucking window without that violent hippie in the protagonist's seat, and then you're just left with explosion-ninja goodness.

'Sides, how hysterical would it be to out-Sasuke Sasuke at everything?

Yeah! I quite enjoyed it, along with Uchibi Sasuke, but I find her a trifle heavy-handed and predictable as an author. There are worse faults for a fanfic writer to have, though.

Heavy handed, yeah, but it occasionally falls into Some Anvils Need To Be Dropped. And if nothing else, the girl is seriously well read so at least when she goes into an Author Tract she brings some new information or perspectives to the table. Her Megaman stories are especially guilty of this, but hell, I still enjoyed them.

Predictable...yeah, she has a lot of reccuring themes, but considering how she usually plays them pretty well and they're not seen in fiction very often, I'll take it.

Oh, you're more then happy enough to not be dead- Life is a wonderful thing, which you have grown immensely attached too over your lifetime. But still, it is odd that after the Shadow Court was sealed away from your reach and you finally succumbed to old age you should simply be born again. With all your memories, at that. How peculiar.

Whatever happened, however, is not as important as the results. You're now a baby. You don't recall the first time you were a baby, and you think that must surely be a safety mechanism of some sort- You're terribly, terribly bored.
